5 out of 5 eggsAMD is always decent price to performance

Pros: Works as a processor should. Put it in a entry gaming build for a clint of mine. He is able to play his game, listen to some tunes, and alt tab when he needs to. He hasn't complained once about the pc's capability. Great price for a quad core processor.

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: With AMD it has been my experince that you always get a little more than what you pay for. They may not make the most capable cpu, but for the price, I myself or my clients have no complaints.

4 out of 5 eggsNot so AMD

Pros: Runs quite cool and delivers and average performance for a quad-core.

Cons: Based on my experience with AMD products, I expected a better performance.

Other Thoughts: Price and performance could be better, but it's not that bad either.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cpu

Pros: Used this cpu to upgrade from the llano 2.7 ghz dual core. Been running stable,. Also with a quad core I'm capable of multitasking a lot quicker and easier.

Cons: None so far.

4 out of 5 eggsAMD's APU Changed My Life!

Pros: My girlfriend and I bought this for her, for mid level gaming. Performs AMAZINGLY WELL on Sims3 on high, World of Warcraft on high, Minecraft cranked up, Tribes Ascend almost cranked up...

I had my doubts about a die-embedded GPU. This processor QUICKLY changed my mind. The sheer speed of her computer surprised the snot out of me. A great build for $300.

Even though the FM1 is dead, we didn't/don't need more than a quad core with 2gb/GFX and 32gb/RAM. (With this board)

MOBO: FoxConn A75A
APU: AMD A6-3650
RAM: PNY XLR8 2x4GB(8GB)
PSU: Thermaltake TR-2 TR-500
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint 7200rpm 320GB
DVD: LG 24X DVD-RW

Cons: Included fan is NOISY... Sounds like it's wide open even before I make it all toasty and louder.

Other Thoughts: We should've bought a faster APU! I can't wait to upgrade to the a8-3870k, and to some better RAM!

Former Intel Fan, Turned AMD! GO RED!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product - Buy From another Vendor

Pros: This is a solid FM1 Processor that produces solid performance for mid range desktop builds.

No complaints on speed, multiple monitors and running standard games that utilize the ATI HD 6500 chipset.
Good product if you are looking for GPU purchase savings.

Be sure you have an FM1 Motherboard - this will not fit in an AM3 or AM3+ board.

Cons: New Egg Customer Service will be the downfall of the company. From someone who purchased thousands of dollars of New Egg Merchandise, I would choose to pay more at another vendor than buy from this company ever again.

5 out of 5 eggsQuick and stable budget CPU

Pros: Built a system from scratch for my daughter. Installed this CPU on a MSI A75A-G35 FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) AMD Motherboard.
Is stable and runs great. Is very fast to convert or rip movies due to the architecture.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Processor

Pros: Fair amount of power in a small processor, though not bleeding edge, of course. I am currently playing games exclusively with this processor and NO video card, (aside from whatever is built onto the processor) so if you're looking for a super budget quick fix, this might give you an idea of what it can achieve.

Ran Diablo 3 on high settings, 1280x720 at 45 FPS.

Ran Skyrim at 1024x768 with high settings at an average of 30 FPS.

So it's not a beast, but for the cost, and if you're just looking for something "good enough" for your starter gaming build, this is a great choice.

Cons: It's just not that powerful. If you have the money and want the power, definitely go with something else, either an A10 for a few bucks more or one of the new Trinity processors.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Fast, Priced Great, and works well!

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: We needed a basic PC setup as a presentation PC for our big screen (60/1080p). Paired this bad boy with a mother board that had an HDMI out and it worked flawlessly. It handles Google Earth High Rez presentations and high fidelity video/graphics without a problem!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for the buck

Pros: I got this for a friend to play FFXIV. I was surprised it handles it very well. It can run just about any game he has thrown at it on max settings.

Cons: It's a little lack luster for some applications.

Other Thoughts: Not bad performance for a $200 build.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for a video server...

Pros: Fast CPU for the price, Great for general computing purposes...

Cons: Maybe not as fast as an intel i3

Other Thoughts: I have this in a PC that is being used as a DVR for 4 security cameras. It is able to keep up with all four cameras and is able to surf the web, etc. I would recommend this for general computing use.
