5 out of 5 eggsI have this one

Pros: I bought this from my son with the phenom 2x4 installed also because i watch 1080p videos.I can have 4 or 5 windows open and downloading at full speed and watching blue ray quality videos with no problems at all.

Cons: Cant find any pictures to help me hook up and or upgrade to a new power supply and new asus gtx760.

Other Thoughts: If more pictures and videos were available showing these outdated systems,I know more people including me would be upgrading more often.I just want to be careful and not ruin anything thats already working great.Im a big DIY guy but need to be careful. thks

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Product

Pros: I've owned this CPU for over 2 years and it's never had a problem. It runs extremely well and I never had any performance issues. I meant to upgrade it sooner since it was the cheapest part of my setup but I couldn't justify it since it ran fast and handled everything I threw at it. I finally upgraded since the price of the Black Editions has dropped.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PCU to the Core

Pros: Great Price, very fast, very cool (temperature), and crazy easy to install.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This is my first AMD build and I was a little afraid of overheating but this cpu works like a champ. I dont have much cause for overclocking but when I do this baby runs cool with the stock heatsink and fan.

Stop thinking about it, just add it to your cart already.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap workhorse.

Pros: I got this for 100 bucks a year ago, is an amazing processor had it clocked to 3ghz stable with ease never gave me any problems. Handled all games i threw at it on max settings with no problems, wow, L4D2, Sc2, all ran amazing.

Cons: No l3 cache but its not even that big of a deal with most things.

Other Thoughts: I don't use mine anymore, upgraded to a 965 BE awhile back when i was upgrading my comp, this processor is still awesome.

5 out of 5 eggsStill going

Pros: Fast, was cheap at the time, can still handle anything. Was able to overclock it a bit, still trying another stable overclock. Got bus speed at 223MHz for a 2.9GHz clock.

Cons: Stock cooler is terrible. Buy a heatsink+fan for 30 bucks. It used to run at 75C max under load and 45C idle.

Other Thoughts: Wish they would of had that 3GHz Propus back when I got this for 100 instead but my next purchase will be a Phenom.

5 out of 5 eggsExactly what I needed

Pros: Is under 100 dollars (even though it was 120 when I first got it.) Is better than Intel Core 2 Quad and almost as good as i5 for way way cheaper. Plays very fast paced and huge games with no problem and frames are never slow and are never jerky. It only gets too 100% usage when im doing a skype call and streaming HD video. It fit with a lot of chipsets, motherboards, and AM3 is a nice socket. I was able to overclock it to 3.1 ghz stable with stock cooler at 60c. I consider that really good. Almost as good as Phenom II X4 except it doesn't have L3 cache. Everything I do which involves some pretty intensive stuff runs perfectly and smoothly. I don't think AMD could have done a better job on this CPU.

Cons: Doesn't have L3 cache. Only 4 cores. Only 2.6 GHZ but you get what you pay for. I mean it is like 80 dollars now. If you pay more you get more. Besides that no cons.

Other Thoughts: I think AMD did a really good job with this CPU and it is the perfect balance of value, performance, energy efficiency, reliability, midrange, budget, and enterprise all in one. I don't think I could have chose a better CPU for 100 dollars.
By the way my specs are:
Graphics: (1) Diamond ATI Radeon HD 5750
PSU: Antec Earthwatts EA-650
Case: Xion Gaming Series ArmorX
Motherboard: Asus M4A78T-E
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 620
Optical Drive: Toshiba Super Writemaster
HDD (Storage): Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM 32 MB Cache
SSD (Boot): OCZ Vertex 2 60 GB
