Pros: was fast when i installed it and ran good

Cons: took a dump 2 months after I brought it and its OEM so can't return it. i'll never buy another OEM chip.

3 out of 5 eggsok

Pros: Its cheap and decently fast...

Cons: First one came with a bent pin all the way over and a couple bent ones, and was DOA. second came with 3 bent pins but fixed them not its fine!

Other Thoughts: dont buy a OEM cpu, youll prolly need a fan and the boxes they ship the CPU's in suck. Each time i got one it had bent pins.

Pros: Forty bills.... need I say more?

Cons: not much O.C. potential.

Other Thoughts: if cheap is #1 priority, this is the best bang for buck.

5 out of 5 eggsFast CPU

Pros: AMD Athlon X2 7550 is quick and responsive. I installed it in a ECS GF8100VM-M3 motherboard and it runs at 40c idle with a Thermaltake CPU fan. My Quickbooks is more responsive than with the old Athlon X2 4200. I have not O/Ced this processor yet, but I will after I update the BIOS on the motherboard. Good CPU for a very inexpensive price.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Athlon X2 7550 Kuma ECS GF8100VM-M3 2GB AData DDR2 6400. 500GB Western Digital SATA HD XFX 9600GSO. Cooler Master elite 335 Case. 585W PS.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat performance cheapy

Pros: This is a great fast cpu. the only difference compare to my x2 6000 is this 7550 actually doesnt gets so hot. it idles at 44c stock with my stock x2 6000 hs. and full load at 59c. great processor. i needed this cpu for a new build. for this price, great performance.

Cons: would be better if it was a black edition.

Other Thoughts: running on my raidmax sagitta I/ tf-8200 biostar mobo/ 7550 2.5ghz/ evga gforce 8800gts/ 3gb ddr2 800/ 160gb hdd/ rosewill psu 550watts/ 23 inch acer x lcd/ logitech kb&mouse/

4 out of 5 eggsGood value

Pros: Cheap-bought on sale for 42 dollars shipped

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: Overclocks with no voltage increase to 2.960 gHz.
Completely stable at this speed.
Won't quite make 3.000.
Runs just a hair warm.

5 out of 5 eggsGood price, L3 cache

Pros: L3 cache, very decent now budget dual core processor. No bent pins or any damage on shipping. Very quick shipping

Cons: Runs a bit warm at idle and load with a stock fan, harvested from a quad core with failed QC

Other Thoughts: Having cool n quiet is almost a requirement for a processor which has this TDP for a stock fan. Runs well without the processor having to raise to top speed.
