5 out of 5 eggsWorks!

Pros: Works fine and is quiet.

Cons: Cables are stiff and a little short for my Cooler Master Storm Trooper Case. As a result, I could not keep my PSU with the Fan on top blowing air down, I had to flip it so that the fan was facing the bottom of the case. :(

Other Thoughts: I can't believe this PSU is cheaper than 650 Watt gold power supplies. The cables are stiff because they have some of the best protection on them. Overall, this PSU screams quality. I am using it to power a GTX 970 card, and I have not had issues.

4 out of 5 eggsMissing 2 GPU Cables

Pros: Still going strong, everything labeled and easy to read, cables covered with a nice material, not too stiff, has a bad to store all the cables in (see the cons below though).

Cons: I didn't notice this when I got it 5 months ago because I only owned one graphics card at a time. I just bought a new GPU and when I went to pair them up I discovered that 2 of the GPU power cables are completely missing. I checked the box to see how many were supposed to be included and sure enough there is supposed to be 4 6+2 PCI-E VGA cables, but my PSU only came with 2 in the box. Someone goofed at EVGA and so I am knocking off 1 star.

Very frustrating!

Other Thoughts: I noticed that they never bothered to respond to my previous review detailing why I DID meet all of their rebate requirements. This indicates to me that they have no interest in doing the right thing.

Seems a rarity when EVGA honors it's rebates (I envy those of you who got yours). I don't care how well you meet the criteria (I met them all!), they are looking for any excuse not to give it to you to make that extra bit of profit.

5 out of 5 eggs10 Year Warranty!

Pros: -Full Modular
-All of the rails tested within range, extremely stable
-140mm Fan for optimal cooling
-ECO mode
-Heavy... really really really solid.
-Ample cord length, my 4 pin easily runs behind the motherboard plate.
-And of course the ridiculously long warranty... peace of mind

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: -I do wish they made a couple different cable configurations for optimal customization. Had to use an extra cable due to spacing between ports.

1 out of 5 eggs10.5v on the 12v Rail

Pros: The modular design is excellent. Even the primary ATX connector is modular. The wires themselves are wrapped nicely. The boxing itself was awe inspiring.

Cons: After a couple days of use the 12v rail began fluctuating. Eventually, when my GPU was under heavy my system instantly reset.

It degraded further to the point I could no longer boot the OS. (Down to 10.51v)

Other Thoughts: Just because they make reliable video cards doesn't mean they make reliable PSUs.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Build but upside down?

Pros: The connections used are solid.
Wires are not as rigid as my old PSU
10 year warranty

Cons: It took me a while to finally decide how I wanted to install this power supply. The power cord side was lets say facing right side up, but the component connection sides would then be upside down.

Other Thoughts: because there is a shroud over my PSU I decided to have it's own cooling system. The NZXT H440 has a bottom air filter, so I am using the back of the power supply to intake air and the fan then blows it straight out the bottom of my computer. This removed any unnecessary extra head from my case.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Quiet Supply

Pros: - Very quiet fan
- Eco-mode can make the supply virtually silent

Cons: - Slightly long and can obstruct case bottom fan placement in some cases

Other Thoughts: I threw this into a Fractal Design Define R4 case as part of an attempt at building a very quiet PC. I went a bit above my power requirements with this supply in hopes of helping it run particularly cool and hence quiet as well. Worked like a charm.

My initial thought was to use the eco-mode to run the supply silently when I wasn't taxing it but the fan ended up being so quiet that I just flipped it to run constantly. The other fans in my case (also very quiet fans) are louder than the supply just from air turbulence, so really I never even notice it's on.

The supply just barely obstructs the threads for placement of a fan in the second bottom vent of the R4 case with the cables ruling out any McGyvering around it, but for me it wasn't an issue since I didn't intend on placing a fan there.
