5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: This thing is silent! I have using it for over a year now and have not heard a sound from it. I do like the cable colors, it goes with my rig. Fits well into my case and for a good price.

Cons: Does not make tea, although I am sure I could find a way to make it do that if I tried. So I won't take any eggs away for that.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat but... poor mail in rebate

Pros: Modular
Quiet
Good price

Cons: it has now been over 12 weeks and I still have not received my 30$ mail in rebate. They lose an egg for that.

Other Thoughts: I'm a huge fan of EVGA products, that is why I bought this.
I have a EVGA GTX 580, a GTX 780, this power supply and their Torq X10 mouse. Just extremely disappointed about the mail in rebate.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent PSU!

Pros: This thing is silent, and has worked flawlessly since I have had it. It comes with plenty of modular cables and a convenient bag to store any cables you wont be using. Very happy with my purchase, seems like a high quality product.

Cons: The red cables are a bit too 'pinkish' a red than I would like, but not enough to remove an egg

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if we could have different colour options for the modular cables, or at a red that is a bit darker.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Great PSU for price paid, this is no low end budget PSU, this is the real deal. I'm running AMD 8350, R9 290 is crossfire with a full custom Water cooling loop with room to spare.

Cons: It hasn't given me laser vision, Yet!

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA SuperNove

Pros: So far this is a great purchase. I cannot even tell this thing is running how quite it is.

The amount of cables this this comes with is unbelievable. It comes with everything you would need to hook up to it. The instillation of this item was also incredibly easy.

Cons: None as of now. If anything changes I will update.

3 out of 5 eggsGood PSU not for the look

Pros: This 80+Gold PSU delivers what you expect it to do. That all you need a PSU for. Quite(at least not noticable), and sustaining. For all the protection and certification, I do think they are legit but not outstanding which is as well expected. And we don't really need anything else more.

Cons: The cons are the reason why I come up to make this review. It comes with red VGA power cable. Like ugly red. I searched a bit on this topic and realized a lot of people were requesting EVGA to have an exchange option from red to black or different colors. So far, I know corsair has this kind of option available.

Other Thoughts: Overall, if you don't care how your cable looks like. I can tell you that as an EVGA fan like me is very satisfied by this PSU. PSU is one of the component that you really need to look into benchmarks to know how it performs. However, it doesn't seem that there would be any significant failure among all the 80+ gold. Modders or whoever has a big side window on your case, you can find something better, trust me.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA Supernova 1000 G2 review

Pros: This is my first EVGA power supply. I am very pleased with its performance. It is quiet and runs cool considering its size, both physical and wattage-wise. Comes with a nice assortment of cables and adapters. Awesome 10 year warranty. Nice construction and finish. I can recommend this PSU to anyone looking to buy in the 1000 watt range. You won't be disappointed.

Cons: None.
NOTE: It is longer than the average PSU, so make sure you have plenty of room in your case. I use a server tower, so it was not an issue for me whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: My build;
Asus X79 Deluxe MB
Intel core i7 3930K CPU
Artic Freezer i11 CPU cooler
EVGA Supernova 1000 PSU
EVGA GTX 780 GPU
Asus Xonar DX 7.1 sound card
G. Skill Trident DDR3 1600 (32GB)

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a monster!

Pros: Enough power to handle everything! Awesome build quality. Great packaging, it even includes carrying bags for the PSU and cables.

Cons: Non really.

Other Thoughts: Just keep in mind, it's longer than most PSUs, so make sure you have enough room in your case.
