Okay, it's a power supply. No gaudy LEDs, no fancy decorations, just quiet performance. 600 watts of electrical muscle. Four +12V rails, each with a maximum of 18 Amperes. It can auto-sense your input voltage from 90Vac to 264Vac, 50/60Hz. No more voltage selector switches!

Run cooler, too, because it is certified to be 80% (typical load) efficient, meaning less waste heat from the supply and smaller electrical bills. Compatible with ATX 2.2 systems, it has a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of 100,000 hours or about eleven years! So they have no problem offering a three year power-swap warranty. Nvidia SLI support. Active power factor correction means clean power even in noisier environments.

Is this your next power supply? Check it out and decide for yourself.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked well for more than 1 week

Pros: It's cheap, and it's 600W. If everything works fine then it's a great deal

Cons: It crapped out on me after around 1 week of use. There's no sign at all that it's going to break, it just does.

Other Thoughts: Save yourself some trouble and buy a different product. It's not worth the hassle.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, we are sorry that you have had problems. The most common cause of DOA units is rough handling during shipping. We are confident that a replacement unit through Newegg will take care of your issues.
Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsGood Warranty, Good Product

Pros: Quiet, Powerful, reliable warranty. RMA Program was quick, UPS ground shipping back was very fast. I received my rebate quickly as well.

Cons: My original PSU failed, but they sent me a brand new one, no questions asked once I called them up.

Other Thoughts: A worthy power supply at a good price. 600W is perfect for most installs, it is quiet, has a reliable support team which ships brand new RMA's quickly, and most of all, it gets the job done.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked Great for about 30 days..

Pros: This is a nice-looking power supply, but in this area, you want more than great looks. Power was stable and reliable. I've been building computers since 1987, and have rarely had issues with power supplies in the past.

Cons: Without warning, the power supply just stopped working in just under 30 days. There were no signs that it might fail. The computer just spontaneously shut down and that was that. The tell-tale LED on the motherboard was my confirmation that the power supply was no longer supplying power. Time to get a replacement...

4 out of 5 eggsCheap and Effective

Pros: Does its job.
Cheap.
Great for new builds plenty of connections for a basic computer

Cons: First one came DOA.... but OCZ was very quick to replace it. Great customer service any problems the people in the office are quick to resolve them.
Some of the connectors seem weak... mainly the 6+2 normally the computers i build the 2 locks into the 6 and is very sturdy but this one it kind of seems that they just rest on the side.

Other Thoughts: Great for people trying to make a computer. Picked mine up for 25$ after the rebate so i really cant complain on anything.

1 out of 5 eggsfailed after 2 weeks

Pros: spec. said 600 watts, active PFC

Cons: died after 2 weeks. Replaced a 550 W Corsair, which is working just fine, to put into older system. No other new PC parts added. Never had a PS supply fail after such a short period of time.

Only 1 SATA cable. Had two HDDs and one DVD drive; all SATA. But SATA power cable could not reach all three. Needed a separate second SATA cable to reach top of case. Wound up using a SATA to Molex adapter. The Corsair had 2 separate SATA power cables. Wish OCZ's description made this clearer.

Looks like I'm not the only one with problems with this particular model. Almost all of the recent reviews had this problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Had plenty of connectors for everything I needed, and plenty I didn't need. Quiet, runs cool, fits perfectly in a tool-less case. I'm no electrician to twedalk about how well it performs, but it does everything I need it to and stays cool, that's all I need to know.

Cons: The CPU power cord barely reached the socket on my mobo, but that's partly because it's a bottom-mounted case. I guess I could get an extension or something. Just mainly forewarning people.

2 out of 5 eggsOCZ 600W power supply

Pros: Running quiet! Low cost for a 600W power supply

Cons: Died after around a month of normal use.

Other Thoughts: I bought this unit base on the feedbacks about running quiet and taking less energy to replace the 1000w OCZ that I'm currently using which is too noisy, but it doesn't work out. The unit has died for about a month. I put the 1000w unit back for now and RMA this unit.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, we are sorry for the problem. Perhaps your system has overloaded this PSU since you downsized from 1000w. We will be happy to assist you with a replacement unit. Please visit the link below and create a support ticket to start the RMA process.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Egg

Pros: Meshing around cables.

Cons: Burning smell on install. After 2 weeks, died. Only 3 SATA connections.... and cable too short.

Other Thoughts: Not ever using this brand for Power again.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid OCZ power supplies

Pros: Was nice while it lasted. Has 2 PCI-E 6-pin connectors. Fairly quiet.

Cons: Dead. Just turned off on me after only a month and a half of use. I have owned my fair share of power supplies and this has never happened to me before. This kind of quality is unacceptable. OCZ expects me to pay for return shipping so I can ship back THEIR faulty product. Ridiculous.

Other Thoughts: I'm honestly debating buying an OCZ product ever again. I've used power supplies by plenty of different brands and none of them have died like this. A month and a half of use. Seriously? Please stay away from this power supply (maybe even OCZ power supplies in general). This is my first experience with them, and it's left a bitter taste in my mouth. I thought OCZ might be a reliable brand based on their other products, but I thought wrong. Stay away.

If you're still not convinced, just look at the reviews. 9/10 of the latest reviews posted on Newegg.com have had failed power supplies. With the addition of my review, 10/10 of the latest reviews will have had failed power supplies. OCZ refuses to pay for return shipping, but there is something clearly wrong since they're shipping out broken products. I think it's reasonable to expect them to own up to the lack of quality control on these power supplies.

1 out of 5 eggsShould have bought a different brand.

Pros: Nice wire bundles. Worked great for a week or so.

Cons: Stopped working after a week. Have to pay for RMA shipping when obviously there is a bad batch or reoccurring problem with this model.

Other Thoughts: I am disapointed that I had to pay for shipping for the RMA process when so many of these are failing. Newegg should stop selling this model until OCZ can show that they have the problem solved. Many of the failure reviews showed up right after I ordered mine. I would not recommend this PS to anyone at this time.
