Okay, it's a power supply. No gaudy LEDs, no fancy decorations, just quiet performance. 600 watts of electrical muscle. Four +12V rails, each with a maximum of 18 Amperes. It can auto-sense your input voltage from 90Vac to 264Vac, 50/60Hz. No more voltage selector switches!

Run cooler, too, because it is certified to be 80% (typical load) efficient, meaning less waste heat from the supply and smaller electrical bills. Compatible with ATX 2.2 systems, it has a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of 100,000 hours or about eleven years! So they have no problem offering a three year power-swap warranty. Nvidia SLI support. Active power factor correction means clean power even in noisier environments.

Is this your next power supply? Check it out and decide for yourself.

4 out of 5 eggsI thought it would have died by now

Pros: its been going strong for 4 years

silent

my pc has never had any issues because of the psu

good price for the quality

Cons: had to rma it once when I bought it since the fan was loud but it has been smooth sailing since then

the +4 pin is a little loose fitting on my mb but hasn't been a prob once I finished cable management.

ocz isn't gonna be making these anymore :/

Other Thoughts: I didnt clean out the filter for this psu for 3 yrs or so and was clogged, just recently dusted my setup and Im not sure how this was getting any intake and didn't suffocate.

2 out of 5 eggsWas good, for a while

Pros: Was a good power supply, not modular, but all the lines were wrapped with mesh.

Cons: After less than 5 years in service, my USB 3.0 ports stopped working with the error: "Power Surge on USB Hub. A usb device has exceeded the limits of its hub port."
I thought it was the motherboard, but sure enough replacing the power supply fixed it.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good PSU

Pros: Very high quality CPU. Built strong. Good enough for a single graphic card PC. The fan was quiet the whole time.

Cons: Better overheat protection. shutdown the PS instead of frying itself.

Other Thoughts: This PSU has served me for the past 5+ years and finally and finally died yesterday due to overheat. But that's because my case's ventilation was getting bad due to years of dust and my fault to not notice it. I'm sure it could've still kept going.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat! Short cables though

Pros: -Powerful considering only 600watts
-Good cable shrouds
-good amount of each type of connector

Cons: -CPU cable is short, has to touch my video card to reach the top of MOBO, bottom mounted PS, need it doubled to route through the back
-MB cable is a bit of a stretch

Other Thoughts: CPU: i5-2500k @ stock
MOBO: Asrock Extreme3 Gen3
VID: Sapphire 7950 OC boost (beast of a card)
HDD: WD Green 1tb
HDD: Seagate 160gb
Fans: Several fans
Leds: cold cathode

4 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU, gave up the ghost yesterday

Pros: Very quiet fan
No annoying LEDs
Plenty of connectors

Cons: Short cable lengths - had to purchase extension cables for my ATX+12v to reach the top of my motherboard since the PS is mounted in the bottom.
Not as many SATA connectors as newer PSUs
Bad fan grind after 1-2 years, similar to shawnmos' report
Coil whine began earlier this year, high-pitched noise that varies based on load.

Other Thoughts: This PSU decided to commit suicide yesterday while I was at work & the PC left idle. Not sure what caused it, but it did successfully fill my home office with a light smoke that smelled of burnt plastic. Too soon to tell if it took any other components with it.
All in all, no real damage done. For a 4-year old part that has survived MANY upgrades to other components it always performed well, up until the very end.

4 out of 5 eggsBad Coil Whine

Pros: Before it developed the problems described below it worked great. Got 3 years out of it before problems developed. It still works but gets on my nerves.

Cons: I've had this PSU for about 4 years and it has now developed bad coil whine. Basically it is a high pitched noise that changes pitch depending on what I'm doing on the computer (how much power the CPU is drawing).

Additionally the fan occasionally makes a grinding noise. It has been doing that for about a year but it is not consistent. Usually if I smack the PSU the noise stops.

Other Thoughts: It has been a good PSU overall, but it has not held up as well as I would have liked. For the amount I paid for it the warranty should have been 5 years.

4 out of 5 eggsShort cables; just died 4 years in

Pros: Seemed high quality, simple, gets the job done, relatively quiet. Cables are sleeved, but none are the flat 'ribbon' style of today

Cons: Cables are short for bottom-mounted PSU style cases.

After 4 years it just totally died. Guess that's not too bad. Nothing else in my rig went with it fortunately, it just stopped turning on one day, no warning signs before hand, no OS instability. Instead of fiddling around troubleshooting such an old device, I just bought a replacement (different product, corsair HX series)

Other Thoughts: 24-pin mobo connector and 4/8-pin cpu power cables are too short for bottom-mounted PSU cases. It reached, but there was absolutely NO slack to route it under the mobo tray, so that ugly cable was stretched over my GPU card and right through the middle of my case. I replaced it with a modular supply that has longer cables and my case is finally beautiful. Too bad its 4 years old and about to get upgraded ;)

4 out of 5 eggslong lasting

Pros: Very solid psu. Owned for over 3 years now never had any prob running overclocked phenom II black @3.6ghz 2hdd and evga 260gtx

Cons: Only complaint keeping it from 5stars is cord length. I only have midsize case(Xclio coolbox) and it is very tight stretch from the psu to the hdd and thats only if i keep them at the highest possible slots. No way possible to have hdd in lowest slot in case
