Not all wattages are the same. Traditional Multi-Rail PSUs might claim to have higher wattages, but they are achieved by combining multiple smaller, lower wattage rails. Each smaller rail isn’t capable of running multiple high-power devices (GPUs, CPUs) because the individual wattage caps are simply too low. EasyRail Technology provides true total wattage – when you expect 200W, EasyRail gives you 200W. One Rail, One Setup.
XFX Core Edition Pro Series PSUs are designed to deliver tight DC voltage regulation (±5%) with minimal AC ripple, giving you safer, cleaner power which along with XFX’s new EasyRail Technology allows you to connect numerous devices without worrying about running out of power before reaching the maximum wattage. EasyRail optimizes it all for you. Available in 650W, 750W and 850W, XFX Core Edition Pro Series PSUs with EasyRail Technology give you one continuous rail of power covering the total maximum wattage.
80 PLUS BRONZE Certified The 80 PLUS BRONZE certified power supply provides high power efficiency of at least 82% at any load between 20% and 100%, saving your money on your electrical bill, reducing heat in your computer's system and prolonging its life.
EasyRail for Maximum Power Unique, continuous EasyRail technology enables you to maximize available power and make set-up easy. The XFX Core Edition PRO650W (P1-650S-NLB9) is capable of delivering 650W of continuous output even at well above standard operating conditions such as 50°C. Single, high-power +12V rail with EasyRail technology providing up to 53A ensures the maximum provision of 12V power to multi-core CPUs and energy-hungry GPUs. Stack numerous power-hungry components without fear of crashing!
Japanese Brand Capacitors (105°C) The PSU utilizes highly reliable Japanese brand capacitors for exceptional stability and product lifespan.
135mm Silent Ball Bearing Fan The 135mm ball bearing fan provides superior cooling performance to dissipate heat in the power supply enclosure while running whisper-quiet.
NVIDIA SLI Ready Certified Coming with 2x PCI-E 6-pin and 2x PCI-E 6+2-pin connectors, the XFX Core Edition PRO650W (P1-650S-NLB9) allows you to build a SLI or CrossFireX gaming system.
Clean Power Power drawn from your AC outlet is typically dirty with voltage spikes and fluctuations, which can harm vital PC components. XFX PSUs are designed to deliver tight DC voltage regulation with minimal AC ripple, giving you safer, cleaner power. This can also reduce audio distortion and screen flicker especially for high power gaming systems.

Pros: Works well for a paper weight.
Cons: The 12+ Rail and the +3.3v rails were swapped. Don't ask me how. My +12 was showing at +3.3 and vise versa.
Manufacturer Response:
Hello,
We're sorry you are having issues with you 550W. What software are you using to monitor the rails? Perhaos the software is confused? are you having any issues with the PSU?

This review is from: XFX TS Series P1550SXXB9 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply
Pros: Quiet and great replacement for my previous Antec PSU, which I unfortunately had to replace because the back power button broke off during a move.
Easy to install with plenty of wires and extras for my needs. The price was nice with the rebate, one of the bigger reasons I decided to buy.
Cons: Not modular but not a big deal as I'm not a big modder. Also, the housing covering the cords seems cheap, as one of the wrappings ripped and is frayed now, requiring a strap around it so the frayed ends don't end up in my giant CPU fan. Not a big deal as the cords are fine but these covers could be stronger and more resistant to pulling and bending.
Other Thoughts: Excellent PSU, but think about making a modular version of this with stronger, better quality wire covers.

Pros: all the right connectors. Seems like good power and good quality.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: owned for less than a month but does what is supposed to and seems like a good quality psu. Got this with a rebate, so cant beat the price.

Cons: It was dead on arrival.
Other Thoughts: I should have checked the reviews as this seems like a common problem. I requested a full refund and ordered a different psu.

Pros: Seems well built. Lots of cables for devices.
Cons: Should have paid attention to the bad reviews here. Arrived DOA like many other, so I have no idea if it would work well or be quieter than previous power supplies.
Other Thoughts: This was for a new build and now I have to wait as I have no other compatible PS. Went to the site listed for troubleshooting in the manual, but I had to register and create a ticket. I could not find any documents or help there, what a joke.
Manufacturer Response:
Hello MisterB,
The PSU arrived DOA? thats really strange. DId you contact Newegg to get a replacement shipped right out?
Please contact us at neweggsupport@xfxforce.com if you, or anyone else for that matter, need assistance.

Pros: Quality unit made by SeaSonic (leading PSU manufacturer) Sufficient wattage for my PC components
Cons: N/A
Other Thoughts: Works pretty good on my 3-year-old HP Pavilion desktop which I converted into a gaming rig. This replaces an old 460w PSU which has gone out. I was using a Corsair CX600M for a while and after learning about consumer complaints on the poor capacitor quality, I wanted to get a better quality PSU to use as a permanent unit while using the Corsair PSU as a backup just in case. That Corsair PSU recently had issues with persistent reboots due to a weak AC socket connection on that unit. But it looks like I may never use that PSU again for a long time since this new one meets my needs and has a great reputation backed by a 5-year warranty. I'm currently using an i7 processor (a 130-watt model) and an Nvidia GTX 660 graphics card and am planning to upgrade to a GTX 860 or 870, depending on pricing. Now I can run high-end games for a few hours at a time without having to worry about heating and power issues.

Pros: works great!! Plugs into everything, powers everything, looks nice, sounds nice!!
Would buy again!
Cons: Cords are a mess to make look nice, but thats what I get for not going modular ( still great psu would recommend!!)

Pros: Really quiet, made by Seasonic, does everything I bought it to do.
Cons: Not modular-- it has so many cables! Of course, for reliable 550w at a discounted price of $~35, I can't complain.
Other Thoughts: I'm hoping the rattling sound from the fan never rears its ugly head, but so far, it's nearly silent.

Pros: Made by Seasonic (MK12II series) with Japanese capacitors that will likely outlast the 5-year warranty, plenty of cables and connectors, power rated at 50 Celcius, meaning power capacity at actual operating temperatures will be higher than advertised.
Cons: Cables are sleeved, meaning heatshrink that holds sleeving near each connector makes cables stiff
Other Thoughts: 2 floppy disk drive power connectors -- future proofing?
