5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I absolutely love it. It's working really great, the fan is quiet, the cables are long enough, there are enough of everything and even more!

Cons: None yet.

1 out of 5 eggsDead

Pros: None

Cons: Received dead

Other Thoughts: Upon realizing this was ineffective, I bought the http://m.newegg.com/Product?itemNumber=N82E16817152028 and haven't had any problems with it yet!

3 out of 5 eggsLoud, but works well

Pros: It provides plenty of power, was easy to install and the cables are pretty easy to manage despite the power supply not being modular.

Cons: This power supply is quite loud. I previously had a Thermaltake modular power supply in my PC and that, combined with the Cooler Master HAF 932 case, provided a lot of cooling but very low noise.

As soon as I installed this new power supply and powered the system up I was worried some fan was having issues in my case because of how loud it was (since it says silent operation).

But after investigating, it is just the power supply - it sounds like a jet plane taking off.

Other Thoughts: If I had to buy another power supply I would probably not go with this one - others are not terribly more expensive and run much more silently.
But at least it does what it is made to do well.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None whatsoever.

Cons: 1st one didn't turn on. 2 weeks and 15 dollars of shipping later, the 2nd one doesn't turn on either. Does anyone test these things?

Other Thoughts: I am really, really mad. Coolermaster needs a quality control department, and I'm thinking about shopping elsewhere for my tech. Seriously, 2 dead PSUs in a row? This is ridiculous. I've now spent a month or so without a working desktop in my house. Thanks, Coolermaster... :\

Manufacturer Response:

Dear valued customer,
I'm sorry for any troubles you're encountering. Have you made sure to plug in the 20+4 pin motherboard cable into your motherboard before trying to turn on the PSU? Most power supplies will not turn on without a connection being made in the motherboard cable connection first. I am also linking a jumping test, also known as the "paperclip test" to some, which outlines the connections that you can make to test the power supply's ability to turn on (Note: Don't run the PSU in this setup, it is only to test whether or not the PSU turns on). If you're having any other troubles, please don't hesitate to contact us directly via tickets or Live Chat.

Regards,
CMUSA Support

4 out of 5 eggshope it stays this good

Pros: Easily powers anything I want.

At a full gaming load makes no noise with ear pressed up to psu.

Fits in a very small case (one for a 9.6 x 9.6 mother board)

Cheap (sometimes it $90 + $5 shipping but if you can get it when its on sale only $55 + $5 which is what i got mine for)

Cons: Terrible cable management.

I don't look in my case and my case is old, but you need zip ties to get a good look.

Only the 20+4 pin has a sleeve.

Only one zip tie on every cable bunch. (needs 3 or 4)

Other Thoughts: My machine:

psu: Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus - 700W Power Supply

cpu: phenom 2 x4 850

gpu: radeon hd 7850

mother board: M2N-SLI

ram: 3 gb ddr2 Kingston

hdd: 320 gb western-digital

2 out of 5 eggsAnnoyed

Pros: easy to install. Runs quiet.

Cons: I bought 2 of these power supplies, one for my computer and one for my wife's computer.
My power supply lasted exactly one year, died on the date. Only partially died, the motherboard lights are illuminated, but nothing turns on.
Not even one week later, my wifes power supply did the EXACT same thing. That power supply lasted about 6 months.
This power supply does last very long.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible Quality

Pros: Cheap, I guess? You can still get better power supply at about the same price.

Cons: I'm a long time fan of Cooler Master but this power supply disappoint me. It randomly shut off, probably because of over heat but come on, I turned the computer on for less than 10 minutes. I just started a game of league of legends and it died on me.

Other Thoughts: Seek other Power Supply

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Rithy58,

We sincerely apologize for the trouble. Please contact us via the Live chat link below so we can get this power supply replaced. If you have further questions, please let us know.

Respectfully,

CMUSA Customer Support.
