3 out of 5 eggsWas a great PSU.

Pros: Loved this PSU when when it worked. Handled everything I threw at it. It's quite.

Cons: Died after only about 6 months of use(9 days short of 6 months)

Other Thoughts: Should have went with a gold certified.

5 out of 5 eggsLPG975

Pros: This is the best PSU I have ever used, and I have used A LOT of PSUs. I currently have two rigs that use this PSU.

One has been using it for over a year with no issues.
That rig has:
Cooler Master Sniper case
ASRock Z77
16GB Mushkin Enhanced Blackline
2x Evga GTX 670 2GB
2x Intel 120GB SSD in a raid configuration
1x Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB
Antec Kuhler 920

The other build is about three months old and this PSU went dead after about a month. Newegg, as usual, had stellar customer service and replaced the it in a timely manner.
That rig has:
Antec Nine Hundred
ASRock Z87 Extreme4
Intel Core i5-4670K
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 16GB
Mushkin Enhanced Chronos MKNSSDCR240GB
2 x EVGA GTX 770 2GB

Cons: Other than the second PSU dying on me, no problems. I understand that it was just defective and this kind of stuff happens.

Other Thoughts: If you need an absurdly powerful and stable PSU that is also silent, buy this!

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Great look. Sleek, black, almost completely modular (Two 4+4pin CPU cables and a 20+4pin Motherboard Power cable being the only non-modular ones). Good specs, 12v rail can handle up to 80amps on it.

Cons: So, I had high hopes for this power supply. It wasn't my first choice, but it was $100 cheaper, had great reviews, and I know Cooler Master is a pretty solid company.

First power supply, DOA. Okay, I understand this happens. I popped in my old power supply, everything worked fine, and I RMA'd the dead PSU.

Second power supply (replaced by another BRAND NEW power supply) DOA.

Maybe it was a bad batch that went through, but two brand new PSU's arrived DOA. For $180, I kind of expect things to work. I didn't even get my case fans to twitch upon trying to power up. The only indicator I had was the lights on my LAN would blink once.

Other Thoughts: I have used Cooler Master cases and heatsinks before, and am currently using a Seidon 240M water cooler. I know Cooler Master has reliable components, which is why I gave this power supply 2 eggs (not to mention the build quality was excellent). But this slip up was...disappointing. I will be biting the bullet and going with my first choice in power supply (new german company that recently started distributing in North America) and staying away from Cooler Master Power Supplies from now on.

3 out of 5 eggsworked great for about 3 years.

Pros: Worked great for as long as I had it. Running a quad core CPU, 8 GB RAM, gtx 460 GPU, 3 sata HDD's (1 10k RPM raptor). Bought mine in early 2010...

Cons: ...and it died in early 2013. I guess 3 years or less is about the shelf life now of most PSU's. I was able to RMA it to Coolermaster, but then they sent me a DOA one on arrival. I wish they were more reliable. They left no documentation on what to do if the replacement was DOA. :(

Other Thoughts: It would have been nice if this product lasted at least 5 years or more, which is about the life of most average PC's these days. Instead it only lasted about 3 years, which is quite disappointing. I've had older PSU's last longer than this one did. :(

4 out of 5 eggsFairly Nice, Got a bad one though.

Pros: Nice design, runs quietly. Cables and packaging are nice too.

Cons: Modular cables are a bit short for routing in my HAF922 case. I installed the PSU, and my system now restarts every 3-4 seconds before post. Checked the voltages with a meter (no load) and the gray wire wasn't providing the required voltage. Must have gotten a bad one, it happens sometimes.

2 out of 5 eggsFan Growls

Pros: One worked great for my sons SB-E build.

Cons: This one is not silent. The Fan growls when the system idles. I can also hear coil whine.

Other Thoughts: PSU is noisy when it should be quiet, near idle.
At peaks when I'm Folding at Home while not home I don't care. If I'm not in the same room, well the cooling fans air turbulance drowns it out.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: I really like the 1k watts its gives me lots of room for expansion since I will be eventually running dual vid cards once the price drops on the one I want. It is very silent and I hear no vibrations like some people say, also it comes with 2 front and back rubber covers and I am only using 1, still with no noise or vibrations.

Cons: See other thoughts

Other Thoughts: The PSU is kind of long and in my Zalman Z11 it sits on the bottom of the case and I had to replace the 140mm fan at the bottom with 120mm just so it could fit, along with pulling off a rubber cover at one end like mentioned under "pros" and still my 120mm barely fits. Either way I was aware that it would be a tight fit.
Also my fan at the bottom of the case blocks 3 ports on the PSU but that is more of a case issue then a PSU issue and I have no need for them,, Yet.. but its quiet so im very happy with it.
