5 out of 5 eggsBullet proof

Pros: When I put this power supply on the bench to test before I installed it in a friend's machine, the power levels were spot on, even under load. Any fluctuation was well within expected levels. I have no problems using this on future builds.

Cons: The 24 pin connector was a tight fit on the motherboard. I do not remove it except when a component dies so cannot subtract any eggs for that.

4 out of 5 eggsA good pwr supply

Pros: Nice and quiet.

Cons: The cables were not very flexible. They were not round shaped, making it harder to route.

Other Thoughts: I bought this power supply to upgrade to a bigger graphics card, well I think I have too small of a processor and maybe motherboard to proceed with the upgrade. In the meantime, it is running very quiet. My graphics cars is all I hear running

5 out of 5 eggsBeastly

Pros: Easy config with modular plugs, plenty of cables supplied, solid, quiet.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Massive. Like, both of my size 12 shoes together. Which, really, that just makes me say, "awesome". Simple config, quiet running, especially nice inside the CoolerMaster case. Great buy with the combo.

5 out of 5 eggs+5 Newegg for Great Customer Service

Pros: Newegg:
Great customer service (by Molly)

Product:
Installation was easy
Fully Modular
Rubber liner for added quietness (never tested)
Basic packaging (no fancy case) to save packing cost

Cons: Never got to use it (see other comments)

Other Thoughts: I was very excited to get this PSU and try it out in my HTPC build using a SilverStone ML03 case. Unfortunately, with the LG BluRay drive I had, there was no way this PSU was going to fit. With no cables attached, my LG bluray drive stuck out about 1" fully installed flush against the PSU. Obviously was not going to work!

As a result I RMA'd it and exchanged it for an SFX style, SilverStone PSU (despite a couple reviews of it being too loud).

Newegg customer service was great and the RMA was very simple!!! For that, I have given this 5 stars. Thanks Newegg!

3 out of 5 eggsA little short

Pros: Fan was quiet. I did not noticed the fan unless I had my ear next to it. No additional electrical noises were heard either. I also like that all the modular cables (beside the main cables) were flat. That made them easy to wrap around corner. It had more than enough power for my setup which rarely exceed 45 watts at idle. Also the price was reasonable.

Cons: This PSU would have been great except 2 issues. My Antec P280 case is almost 21" tall and the PSU mount at the bottom. The main cable of RS-600 was only around 47cm/18.5in. That's too short to be routed behind the MB and then to the main MB connector. It barely made it from the front. The CPU 4+4 cable was also just a bit short for routing around the back, even though it's 22" long. So with the 2 main cables routed up front. It kinda spoiled the look and function of my setup.

Also the PSU only had 4 connectors for SATA/Peripheral. But it came with 5 cables: 3X SATA and 2X Peripheral. So you will not get to use the full set as expected. I will be putting in 6 HD, 1 SSD, 1 burner, 1 HD hotswap and 4 fans. So I needs the full set.

I ended up RMA this PSU because of these issues.

Other Thoughts: I realized that it's possible to remedy the short cables issue with extensions and splitters for the SATA/peripherals cables. But the added expense can be thrown into getting a more high end PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsPower Supply

Pros: Modular cables are awesome. None of the cables were too short, I was able to snake them around the case with no problem.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Bundled wires were a bit hard twist , but that's not a big deal if you have a bit of persistence.
