5 out of 5 eggsRunning well after 1 1/2 years

Pros: It is a compact size for small PC cases. I have been using one in an old IBM Netvista case converted to a new dual core system for over a year and half with no issues. I am currently building an IBM Aptiva case conversion and needed another smaller than standard power supply so another oneshould be arriving from New Egg today. I hope it does as well! Also this unit pushes more wattage (350W) than most micro size power supplies available.

Cons: I'll have to so some cutting and drilling to make it bolt in to my case, but it is a case conversion so that comes with the territory

Other Thoughts: I've personally had pretty good luck with cheaper power supplies so far- none have fried my motherboard and the only failures I can recall over the years were when I was using an incorrect power switch and had to replace 2 power supplies. Once the switch was replaced the next power supply lasted over 3 years until that system was decommissioned.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor quality.

Pros: Worked for a month. Then stopped working.

Cons: I noticed that if I moved the computer it would shut off. Then it eventually stopped working just over 30 days. I am not sure who to blame the manufacturer (for a defective product) or newegg for only having a 30 day return policy. I have a quad core but it still should work.

Other Thoughts: I have already brought another power supply. One that is twice as much money and almost twice as much power. Newegg needs a 60 day return policy.

1 out of 5 eggsBad PSU BAD!!!

Pros: It's a small form factor so that's great.

Cons: I've lost 3 boards to this PSU, I think it gives random voltages that fries the boards. I had a HTPC case and the original PSU that came with it went out so I bought a cheap new one here, big mistake. I paid the price by losing 3 different motherboards to this PSU, in a span of almost 3 years. So that's one board a year, and I don't overclock or anything either.

Other Thoughts: The reason I got this was because I bought a HTPC case and it only takes MicroATX power supplies. You get what you pay for when you buy this. I'd rather you put the a bit more money in a better PSU then this one.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible choice

Pros: None.

Cons: I had this for about 2 days in my newly built system and then it went out with a big bang and heavy smoke. Fried the MB and everything else, although my HDD survived. I made a gigantic mistake buying this and it'll cost me. You get what you pay for buying a power supply from a company that pays no attention to quality. The fan noise was like a jet trying to take off. Drew lots of power from what I could tell.

Other Thoughts: The problem really is that there aren't any great micro atx PSUs available. I'll keep looking but I will never buy a cheap power supply again. Come on, say it after me: "I will not buy a cheap power supply".

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Cheap, quiet, stable, 3.3V on the SATA power adapter

Cons: thin wires, but I expected that

Other Thoughts: I've used several Logisys PSUs in the past, I haven't been let down yet. I have one that is left on 24-7.

Fan isn't silent, but by no means is it loud.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Power Supply

Pros: Works pretty good as a replacement power supply. Not a bad price as well.

Cons: Chinzy wiring and power cord, but what do you expect for a very inexpensive power supply.

Other Thoughts: It does it's job. So far, so good

2 out of 5 eggsWell....

Pros: Small, looks ok... high watts for a power supply of its size

Cons: Smoke? The second time I plugged it in, I saw smoke, and many of the parts pugged in are now dead. Luckily it was for a second computer, and the video card survived.

1 out of 5 eggsShort life

Pros: Well, it fit in my case, and it worked well for a month or so...

Cons: The supply died within a month of installing it. It was a more powerful replacement of a weaker power supply in the tower previously. The old supply lasted four years +, this one? a month. Not a good power supply.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't buy cheap supplies for your computer. You run the risk of frying other things when they go out. I was lucky and didn't lose anything but this cheapo supply.

4 out of 5 eggsvery tight fit in an HP 7850, but it works

Pros: Very quiet. Has plenty of connectors for an old legacy box.

Cons: As someone else has noted, it's a tight squeeze in a Pavilion 7850. It's tough to get two screws into place.

Other Thoughts: Kudos to those who note their computer model number when possible. It certainly helps when trying to decide what'll work in older machines.
