Pros: My roommate has the same power supply in his system and runs very quiet in our dormitory for years. After my old power supply called it quite, he highly recommended me get this power supply from newegg for my burned out power supply replacement. Since I never hear his complain on his system, I buy it and put it in my system. Newegg did a great job- order today and receive next day!!!!! The unit is clean and neat (no fancy LED, sleeve wires). It equips with enough connectors for all my devices. My system now runs surprised quiet (though with 2 80mm fans), and so smooth. It really provides enough juice to push my OC system with no problems. I put a 120mm fan at my case lower front, and the air flow is just perfect with its 2 fans- great in and out- just good enough to cool down my system.
Cons: Lacks of fancy PSU features No PCI-E Not sexy
Other Thoughts: Like my roommate told me- “Power supply is the only moving parts in the system and not something you want to mess up.” If you are looking for a less expensive power supply with decent quality and stable performance, this should fit in your box Core2 Duel E6600 Gigabyte P35 320GB & 500GB WD HDD 4GB of Gskill X-Fi Platinum Sound ATI 3650 VC 2 DVD RW Card reader 2 120mm fan

Dead after 5 weeks

Pros: Great Price, good feature set
Cons: Died on me after 5 weeks of fairly light use - popped in another PSU and everything worked fine so I know it was the Power supply - not worth the time to package up and return, will chalk it up as just one of those things
