Bring your system to life with the Thermaltake TPG-750M power supply. It complies with ATX 12V v.2.3 and EPS 12V 2.92 standard. It also works with the power-hungry SLI, Crossfire and multi-core CPU configurations and is ready to deliver 750 watts of power where you want it – safely and reliably.

The modular design helps reduce the cable clutter and improve the air circulation for better system cooling inside the chassis. Active PFC (power form correction) maximizes power efficiency saving energy – and money on the power bill. Industrial-grade protections built into the power supply include defenses against over current, short-circuit, over voltage and under voltage operating.

  • newegg Pure Aesthetic Outer Chassis The Thermaltake TPG-750M's unparalleled aesthetic exterior design has set itself above other PSUs currently available on the market, adding style to your inner system.
  • newegg 750W Maximum Power A maximum power of 750W delivers safe, reliable output for high-performance gaming computer systems. A strong +12V single rail ensures the maximum provision of 12V power to energy-hungry components such as CPU and VGA card, minimizing the likelihood of overload shut down.
  • newegg 80 PLUS Gold Certified The 80 PLUS Gold certified power supply provides high power efficiency of at least 87% at any load between 20% and 100%, saving your money on your electrical bill, reducing heat in your computer's system and prolonging its life.
  • newegg Modular Cable Design The modular cable design allows use of only the cables you need resulting in improved internal airflow and reduced system clutter.
  • newegg Quad PCI-E Connectors With two 6-pin and two 8-pin PCI-E connectors, the Thermaltake TPG-750M power supply is ideal for building an SLI or CrossFireX gaming system.
  • newegg Proprietary Flower Shape 14cm Fan The Thermaltake TPG-750M power supply features a proprietary dual ball bearing 14cm flower-shape fan for increased overall airflow and heat dissipation in the power supply enclosure. The unique flower-shape fan enables longer lifespan and lowers overall noise output by dramatically reducing bearing frictions.

1 out of 5 eggsLasted 1 year

Pros: Nice looking power supply with lots of features

Cons: Died after 1 year

Other Thoughts: Bought Nov. 2012
Died Jan 2014
Computer measured maximum current draw 380 watts.

So basically this power supply can't reliably handle half its rated output.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Had to buy it to support my bigger graphic card, and I have not had any problems out of it as of yet.
It runs quiet which is great, and it was easy to install.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks, good for it's sales price

Pros: 80 + Gold, 750 watts, thick cables, carrying bag to hold extra cables. Came with screws that were long enough.

Cons: Not fully modular. Has rounded corners (does come with rubber inserts to fill in spots at back of case. Screws are silver.

Other Thoughts: I bought it knowing it wasn't fully modular, and about the rounded corners, both were in the pictures. The red power switch that is shown in the picture has been replaced with a traditional one. The silver screws do stand out on the black CM Scout case, though in the end, they're screws, they're in the back, so I guess I'll live.

2 out of 5 eggsNot as Advertised

Pros: Works. Quiet. Screws were long enough.

Cons: Did not match the description on their website. No illuminated push-button switch they brag so much about but a typical non-illuminated rocker switch. No illuminated logo as advertised. No cable straps as advertised. Two cable clams...not four as advertised. Internals do not match pictures here or on Thermaltake website.

I know these may be small things but who knows what else was cut back on in the build of this unit. Are the high quality parts still utilized as they claim? They don't look the same. I have no way of telling. I looked at a lot of reviews and testing and then receive an obviously different unit.

I just expected to get what they clearly pictured and advertised.

Other Thoughts: Got it at a good price and it may be a good unit. It works but so did the budget 500w one it replaced.

Wires are very stiff. Decide for yourself if that's pro or con. Good quality wires but sometimes very difficult to maneuver for cable management.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: #1 Silent while under heavy overclocking load, decent enough for 1 discrete high end graphic card. Hasn't needed to turn on its fan yet.
#2 5 year warranty, branded caps, got tired of buying a new psu every 2 years.
#3 molded cables are firm enough to maintain shape during install before you wire tie everything to make it look nice.

Cons: Shipped without internal mounting psu screws, highly important due to the fact it has rounded edges and psu screws needed to be slightly longer. To ship new screws was $8.95 from thermaltake, only had to pay for shipping. Ouch.

5 out of 5 eggs Great PSU

Pros: Great price, runs my rig with sli and overclocking just fine and it is very quiet. The modular cables are high quality and easy to cable manage. Great costumer service

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Thermaltake upgraded me to this psu for free when my 775 watt lower end model had some coil whine issues, costumer service was amazing and knowledgable and I'm happy for the free upgrade.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent quality

Pros: Bought elsewhere for 120, but do own it.
1. QUIET!!
2. Stable power, and can get 850w no problem
3. looks great, japanese capcitors
4. Gold certified
5. Semi-modular, only modular where it needs to be

Cons: Weird power button, but not enough to drop an egg

Other Thoughts: This PSU is very underrated by the pros, only because Corsair and Seasonic etc own this space. This PSU is a slight notch below, BUT......can be bought for much much cheaper. Power, quality vs price is excellent...Do not hesitate.

1 out of 5 eggsD.O.A. OUT OF THE BOX!!!

Pros: It looks nice in the Thermaltake case I bought for the build. Super clean install. Pretty lights in the back panel for extra show.

Cons: HASN'T WORKED RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX!!! Tested in two different machines. Now I have to advance RMA the product with Thermaltake and pay for shipping to them and more than likely back as well. Meaning I'll end up paying 300 dollars for a power supply that was purchased at half the cost. I could have a 1200w unit after all this hassle.

Other Thoughts: Thermaltake better handle this swiftly. Very unsatisfied for the amount of money I've spent on this build.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Worked right out of box. I had a bad experience with another company's PS's (I tried 3 of their products and all were DOA). The DOA PS cost much less than Thermaltake, but I lost 2 months trying to get those supplies to work.

NewEgg's customer service was great and helped me much after the problems I had with the other PSs. My hat is off to Customer Service!!!

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: NewEgg should take a hard look at suppliers who have massive failure problems and drop those products from their list of sellers. These bad products reflect on NewEgg also.
