5 out of 5 eggsNice Power Supply

Pros: I like this powersupply because it allows you to only use the device cables that you need. It also come with a cable for the older IDE style power cables. The blue light is nice and you can turn off the light really easily if you want to.

Cons: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsQuietly does the job.

Pros: (1) Works; Provides stable power and keeps its cool.
(2) Very quiet fan.
(3) Cool blue light. (Good if other lights are blue, as mine are; Not so much if your other lights are another color.)
(4) The hybrid modular design is GREAT! No cabling octopus as with non-modular PSU's, but easier to connect all the needed cables than with full modular design. Truly the way to go.

Cons: (1) AC power cable fits rather loosely. I thought it might be the cord, so I tried another one. It fit loosely, as well.

The cord stays on if undisturbed, one should be careful cleaning, etc. or cord could be easily disconnected.

Other Thoughts: I am completely satisfied with this unit, aside from the somewhat loose fit of the cord. It could be dislodged when cleaning around the computer or whatever. Still, it isn't so bad that I took any eggs off for it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking well, no problems

Pros: Price, Output, Semi-modular, Decent cables with acceptable length and pretty good quality sleeves, Quiet.

Cons: Could have made PCI-E cables separate from one another

Other Thoughts: I've been using this unit for about a month without any issues. Fan is nice and quiet and wasn't DOA. Will report back if anything arises. So far so good!

2 out of 5 eggsCooling fan/LED light did not work

Pros: I liked how the cables had housings to hold everything together. Also liked how many connections were available. Liked the idea of the blue LED light.

Cons: Cooling fan did not work. LED light for the cooling fan did not work. Had to send to manufacturer for replacement. Their warranty doesnt cover the shipping, which is quite disappointing since it was a brand new product and was not a user created issue.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We're sorry about the LED problems.
For shipping, we ask customer to ship it back to us and we'll pay for shipping it back to the customer.
We're sorry for the hassel we might of created for you.
If you have other concerns or questions, please send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax products.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: This was the PSU I bought when I build my first gaming rig. More than 2 years later, it's still running like a champ.
I've never had any problems involving not having enough power, shorting out, etc., even when I would overclock other components pretty hard.
The blue LED's are really nice, and are the perfect brightness!

Cons: None in 2 years!

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this PSU to anyone on a budget, but that still wants a great and reliable rig for gaming or just about anything else. The Raidmax 700W is more than enough juice for just about anything you throw at it!

1 out of 5 eggsJust eh...

Pros: Works.
Did not die within 1.5 years that I have put this to use

Cons: I have been using this PSU since June 2012, and just switched over to OCZ Fata1ity 750W.

I have never been able to push my 3770K over 4.80GHz and I thought this was because my CPU was just a little special.

But after switching the PSU I was able to get stable 5.00GHz and boot into windows but unstable at 5.30GHz

I did not hit 700W max draw (3770K + GTX 780)

I used to buy Raidmax Cases for the looks and bought this without looking more into it.

DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE.

Other Thoughts: I have this one collecting dust atm and I was thinking about building a low end computer for one of my friend and wanted to use Haswell i3. I have sent in a question about Haswell compatibility on the same model PSU that was manufactured before the Haswell release. Did not get a reply yet so thats on hold.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We're sorry that this PSU didn't work out for you.
However, from your feedback you mentioned you've only had it for 1.5 years, we back up this PSU with a 2 years warranty.
If you like to process a return, rma, simply send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax products.

Pros: Good PSU, got it on sale for 50$, it's been a few months and it runs pretty well.
