5 out of 5 eggsDecent power supply, never skips a beat

Pros: -Works as intended
-Blue LED fan makes for nice aesthetic

Cons: nada

Other Thoughts: Works exactly as intended. No issues or hiccups whatsoever. Was a little nervous buying from an unfamiliar brand but in my mind Raidmax has proven itself to me with this product.

2 out of 5 eggsAn extremely bad purchase

Pros: -Lasted two years
-Didn't fry any components when it failed twice
-Raidmax replaced it speedily (see cons)

Cons: -Lasted two years only
-Something melted despite the temperature of all other components being fine, there was a melting plastic smell for days. Shipped it back to Raidmax, they replaced it. Though it seems like they actually sent me back the SAME unit, just with some extra thermal paste slapped on the component that melted. The new one failed after a few months, and had some white, melted gooey stuff inside it, which was probably thermal paste, and certainly wasn't MY thermal paste.

Other Thoughts: I was extremely lucky that nothing was fried, and I certainly won't be dealing with Raidmax again.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
All of our PSU comes with 2 years warranty, and if you passed the 2 years warranty we usually don't give replacements.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax products.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but you get what you pay for

Pros: Does what it's supposed to.
Modular cables are great, especially the loop. In downward facing positions this holds all the cables up against the PSU, and leads directly towards the back of the case, which gives this PSU some sense of cable management.

Cons: Runs hotter than higher end PSUs, so if you mount it in a downward position it will get hot and loudish (noticeable but not annoying).

Wires aren't fully sleeved, as some are slightly exposed, so you will see some colored wires showing inside your case no matter what.

Other Thoughts: Despite claims of these things frying and catching fire, I've never experienced anything close to that. This PSU isn't a higher end one, so don't overload the rails with a ton of splitters and converters.

As I said before this does run hot, so I can assume overloading this thing with to much will cause some issues.

With everything being said, you get what you pay for. Don't go in expecting overly fantastic things from this PSU, but generally it will do what it's intended to do; as long as you use your brain a little when building. I personally think anyone who manages to fry one of these caused it by not thinking first.

5 out of 5 eggsBest PSU I've bought

Pros: Modular design, the covered power cords, the aesthetics rock.

Cons: none so far :P

Other Thoughts: i didnt realize how much bigger it would be VS my old 450w PSU, it should fit in almost any case, but just an fyi out there for you folks

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: It works, its modular. Nothing super fancy and it gets the job done.

Cons: Its fairly limited in terms of the amount of rails it has. Kinda have to really plan out how to hook everything up.

1 out of 5 eggsBAD

Pros: None really

Cons: Had the PSU installed for less then a day, over heated and caused a crash to my new system, Come to find the fan does not work at all now i have to RMA and hop the 2nd one works

Other Thoughts: I first tired to RMA via Raidmax. I called the phone was they where very rude to me, asking one question then telling me to e-mail the RMA Department and when i tried the e-mail got sent back. I would get a refund via newwgg but i was a combo deal and i would have to send back the whole tower to do
