1 out of 5 eggsYou have got to be kidding SeaSonic...

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: None

Cons: This is an update to my previous review. Unit failed after 22 months. Went through the RMA process. Sent my unit back WITH EVERYTHING CABLES INCLUDED and SeaSonic returned JUST a PSU. Nice... What am I supposed to do with a modular PSU with no cables? At this point there is nothing they can do to repair this situation. I'm through with them.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Todd, I am sorry for the mixup with the cabling. RMA for Seasonic USA will mean to send in only the PSU. Please let me know your RMA number and we will sort this out for you as soon as possible. Please write to: newegg@seasonicus.com Thank you.

1 out of 5 eggsNice while it lasted

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Quiet.
Did the job nicely until it failed 22 months later.
5 year warranty.

Cons: Failed in under 2 years.

Other Thoughts: RMA'd it today. That's 20 bucks in shipping and a half hour at the post office I will never get back. Will update the review if and when SeaSonic replaces it.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Todd, I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We do our best to ensure top quality but at times, one single component may fail which will lead to the failure of the unit. I am glad you have started the RMA process with us and if you have questions or concerns, please do let us know by writing to: newegg@seasonicus.com Thank You.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat company

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Steady power, lots of connections, free bag (holds the modular cables in the box)

Cons: I had to mount it upside down so the fan guard wasn't smashed against the bottom of my motherboard in my case. Not SeaSonics fault.

Other Thoughts: Well designed, cables look great in my case, steady power output.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good PSU for its price !!!

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: This replaced a bad Corsair HX660 PSU that I bought before
and had a fan that was stuck to full spin all the time.
After noticing that I went to forums and found the HX660
had there fan stuck like that too often.
It sounded like a heater fan at full speed inside my 'quiet' PC tower.
So I started a search for a good replacement PSU and....
found the Seasonic M12II 620 Bronze.
Very well quoted so I gave it a try and ordered one from Newegg.
MAN !!!!! After installing it in my tower I was wondering is it running ??
It is SO QUIET !!!! Now I have a very quiet PC for my audio recording
and video editing stuff.
And it's cheaper than the Corsair HX660 !!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: For those who need a quiet PC that's a very good PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsAlways full modular

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: LOVE full modular. Once you buy a full modular PSU, nothing else will do. I make my own custom cables with para cord sleeves and so a fully modular PSU is a must. I wish this was rated for higher watts, but I really feel very satisfied with the price I paid for a SeaSonic fully modular PSU. Runs like a champ and looks great.

Cons: No complaints at all. If all you need is 620 or less, then this is the only PSU you should be looking at.

Other Thoughts: I wonder if using my custom crimped/length cables voids my warranty . . . at this price it does not matter.
