5 out of 5 eggsDecent Power Supply

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Semi modular wiring. Power output.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Got this because of good experience using Corsair CX500M power supply. So far it's been doing great. Supplying AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz, Seagate HDD, and two older GTX 570 Superclocked video cards, plus 5 case fans with no problem. Draws about 450W under heavy graphics load.

The only con I might suggest is that the main power cable (non-modular) might be a bit short on full tower cases. This one went into a Rosewill R5, which is a large mid-tower, okay; but not much length left for more than that.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Completely solid PSU with abundant power, modular cable system, that has two 8pin video card hookups for the higher-enthusiast end gamer. Super silent and I have a relatively open case that is not heavily sealed. Fits my needs exactly and if I ever feel the need to in the future to sli my rig I will have more then enough power to handle it. No coil whine, no smell, fit perfectly into my case with lots of extra room, I mean corsair makes a great psu and I would highly recommend them to anyone else.

Cons: As per any item with a MIR system its annoying takes forever and is hardly ever worth it. But at least its money in your pocket down the road when you kind of forget about it.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a significant upgrade to your system in the form of a PSU this will run ANY single card in the game that I am aware of except mayber a R9 295x2 and even then I think this would run it. That being said this is a quality product and I will have no issues so far with buying corsair in the future.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Power Supply

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Nice unit for the cost

Cons: Computer shuts down randomly sometimes will not power up at all suspected PSU also brought to reputable PC repair shop which ran a PSU tester and verified voltage fluctuation once tested under load

Other Thoughts: I am out of luck of the total cost of this unit as it was purchased over 30 Days ago and there is no exchange policy after that on defective Power Supply
Will not purchase anything from Corsair again

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: A great deal of power for the cost

I will definitely not purchase another PSU from corsair

3 out of 5 eggsCheap and noisy

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Seems to work well, modular makes cable management so much easier.

Cons: Coil whines when loading most games, cooling fan is audible, connectors feel cheap

Other Thoughts: Wish I bought better quality PSU, but it works fine.

1 out of 5 eggsHorribly made.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Worked the first time I powered it on to test it.

Cons: Powered it on again to actually use it and it exploded, frying my motherboard and filling my room with smoke. This PSU is repulsively made, and many others have reported similar experiences in their reviews.

Other Thoughts: Corsair needs to reevaluate their quality checks, as too many people are reporting this PSU experiencing random power outages at best, and exploding at the worst.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Power Supply - Check Rebate Dates

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Large exhaust fan,
Modular cables are black and match my case and hide inside much better.

Cons: Didn't qualify for the advertised rebate because I bought it too early, was advertised as $20 Off with rebate, filled out the form mailed it in only to find the purchase dates were in the future of when I bought.

Other Thoughts: Bought this because of the rebate, and settled for a 750 vs the 1000 I was replacing because of price.
