5 out of 5 eggsCorsair cx750m

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Quiet and reliable. Friend recommended the cxm series and because he has been using the 600 psu for around 9 years with no problems at all. People seem to be complaining about an inch or 2 of wire showing, its not a custom wiring job and the price clearly reflects that. Buy a sleeving kit and do it yourself.

Cons: none

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Price. The name CORSAIR

Cons: Only lasted 5 month it's completely dead, Expected a better product from Corsair. I just hope the PSU didn't take out any other parts in my computer. I bought two for two seperate builds so now lets see how long the other last, And now i get to start the painful RMA process.

Other Thoughts: Really thought ii should have gotten at least a year from this product after googling this product i found it has several design flaws.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy the CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Price.

Cons: Had for 5 months and just died. Really expected to at least get a year of use out of it.

Other Thoughts: I recommend either not buying this product at all, and if you have the money spend the extra $40 dollars and get a better quality PSU. I believe this design has several design flaws . I should have done more in depth research before purchasing this PSU. What can i say i sen the name CORSAIR and thought i was getting quality merchandise. (LIVE and LEARN)

3 out of 5 eggs50/50 So Far

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Semi - Modular for a reasonable cost.

Cons: Bought 2 for 2 different builds just before Christmas - this morning one fried when the PC was powered on. Replaced it with an old OCZ model in an unused PC and all was well. Thankfully none of the PC components were affected. RMA process with Corsair has begun.

1 out of 5 eggsCORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Price, Company Name

Cons: I must of gotten a bad power supply. It started out great, however after two months of service this power supply started to turn itself off diring game playing. I had to disconnect the 24-pin connector from the motherboard to get it running again. Now it is just turning itself off under idle power. A rancid burning smell is coming out of the power supply.

Other Thoughts: I have purchased many items carrying the Corsair name plate and will continue to do so in the furure. It is not returnable to Newegg, so I guess I'll have to deal with Corsair directly.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: > Bronze Certified
> Modular
> Cheap
> Modular cables are plenty long

Cons: These are all very minor things, and none of them would loose an egg.
> The sleeving on the mother board isn't long enough on the actual cable. Some of the ugly cables are exposed.
> The modular cables were a little stiff in my opinion, its kinda annoying when running them though the case.

Other Thoughts: Other than that, this is an AMAZING power supply. I didn't think any of my cons were worth loosing an egg.
