This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX500M 500W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC CP-9020059-NA Power Supply

Pros: Very good PSU. I have one that has been powering a server for 24/7 for about 2 years with no problems at all. The other one is in an AMD system with a 560 ti with no problems at all.

5 out of 5 eggsModular is the way to go

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX500M 500W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC CP-9020059-NA Power Supply

Pros: - The modular aspect of that PSU. Makes the cable management way easy!
- 500W should be enough to satisfy the needs of a non-hardcore PC user

Cons: - For anyone who is in intensive user of a pc requirements, you may want to go to 750W or higher (not a personal -1 egg for me)

Other Thoughts: I highly suggest before you buy any PSU to go on websites that will calculate your wattage needs.

My build consists of :

Micro-Atx from Gigabyte (B85)
GTX 970 4GB from ASUS
4 x 4GB SDRAM DDR3 slots
2 SATA HDD
1 SDD
2 DVD-RW drives
1 Antec 900 Tower
Devil's Canyon i5-4690K (currently OC at 4200)

Conclusion: This PSU is sufficent for my build.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome PSU

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX500M 500W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC CP-9020059-NA Power Supply

Pros: Keeps my gaming PC running even with 500W. It is all you need for a build like mine. I have a single R9 270 with 2x4GB Corsair Vengenance DDR3 RAM and a A88X-G45 gaming motherboard.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU so far

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX500M 500W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC CP-9020059-NA Power Supply

Pros: Everything about this power supply has been great so far. Nothing has gone wrong with it yet, although I have not had it for that long of a time. I really loved the modular design, as it has definitely clear up some room in my case. I don't think that I could ever by another power supply that wasn't fully modular.

Cons: None so far, but will update if anything arises

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX500M 500W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC CP-9020059-NA Power Supply

Pros: Good power supply. Quiet, and working well for me.

Cons: It could be better if there are 2 more 2x4 connectors for more powerful video cards. But it is to much to ask for 500w.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX500M 500W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC CP-9020059-NA Power Supply

Pros: N/A

Cons: Upon opening the box it was clear the power supply had either been dropped or hit with a hammer. The top was dented and the side was dislodged because of the dent in the top.

Pros: Amazing style, Love the green, it kind of clashes with my build but it's not going to be seen anyways.
500 watts. Perfect for a 750 or something like that.

Cons: None that are worth mentioning
