2 out of 5 eggsDo not use with high end graphics cards

Pros: Quiet, and works well under low-to-mid strain

Cons: Does not work with high end graphics cards. After only a few months of usage, this power supply unit would overheat and crash mid-game (when all other parts were well within safe temperature ranges), even on middle graphics settings.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None

Cons: DOA, I have used Corsair products in the past and they all work perfectly, I always had Corsair at the top when it came to PSUs. I guess I got a lemon. Replaced with an EVGA PSU which works very well.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't Work

Pros: None

Cons: Got the fans running for all of 1 second then turned off... then repeated this cycle until it was unplugged. I made sure that all my other components were working, the only culprit could be this faulty power supply.

Other Thoughts: First time building a computer, so this was pretty disappointing. Now I have to return this and get another PSU so I can actually run my computer.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Price and usually corsair is really good quality.

Cons: Replacement for current system as I upgraded GPU.Plugged it in and CPU would not power. mono has display and had error code "c". Either bad CPU or power. Plugged old power supply back in just to verify and for bad power supply. Got an RMA. PIA that the PC has been down for over a week.

Other Thoughts: hopefully new one is good

Pros: So my old psu was dying and was having problems powering my system. Bought this one in the nick of time. plugged it in. Powered up just fine. Looks good. Runs silent and very low temp. Warm to touch but definitley not hot. GREAT BUY!

Cons: Didnt come with a free graphics card.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works well, provides stable power and the ability to remove cables you don't need is nice.

Cons: After a few days the fan started to make a noise. Looking around on the internet I found this to be a common problem with a variety of solutions. Turning off all the power saving features in the BIOS worked for me, not a big deal since I overclock and have these options off most of the time anyway, but it'd be nice to have the option to turn them on and not have the noise.

Pros: Powered all my things and didn't explode.

Cons: Isn't self powered.

Other Thoughts: But seriously, love this PSU. Nice, high quality cables and clean looks.

3 out of 5 eggsCame dented.

Pros: Works like a champ. Got it to power a new build. No issue... yet.

Cons: Brand new, sealed item... came dented.

The metal housing at the back of the PSU where the power switch and plug are located, came bent inward. Makes a low, yet noticeable whirring noise. Friend's CX600 does not.

Other Thoughts: Tested the PSU for functionality. Worked, so I didn't bother to return it.

Works fine so far, but it does concern me slightly.
