5 out of 5 eggscorsair cx600m

Pros: So far a great PSU. Very easy to install and route. Wires are long for bottom mount and came with plenty of extra so upgrades are no problem. For low cost power "The way to go" Great warranty and trusted product

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsCool and Quiet, Modular, (but mine failed)

Pros: Modular design is so nice, I never want to go back to a regular messy one.
Power is nice and clean according to Asus A88X-Pro tools.
Has all the cables you need AND a bag of cable ties. Classy.
Got it at a discount and (in theory) with mail-in rebate.

Cons: Mine failed after 5 weeks so I have to return it to Corsair. The discount price doesn't sit so well when return shipping is $16 (outside newegg's return 30-day window) and I have to deal with the downtime and hassle of swapping out a PSU. I'm only knocking off one star - I only have one data point.

Mail-in rebates are not that great. In fact, they're annoying. Just make it cheaper.

Other Thoughts: I wish newegg or someone would publish RMA rates (for failure only) along with reviews. They're just as important. People writing one star reviews because they're angry after theirs failed is misleading. This is probably a good product but I'd like to know how many are failing. Admittedly if it fails after 30 days, newegg probably won't know.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Does exactly what it is meant to do. Purchased this PSU over 2 years ago and it is still working as advertised.
The modular design allows you to save space inside your case since you do not have extra unused cables dangling from the PSU. Plug in the cables you need and stash the remainder somewhere else. The PSU included cable management zip ties and snaps. Not a big thing, but something most PSU companies do not include.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I run a 4.0ghz quad core, 2 hard drives, 16gb ram, and a Radeon R9 270x off of it.

5 out of 5 eggsMakes things light up

Pros: Plugged it into all the things and they all work!

This was part of an enthusiast budget build, it powers everything well, a gtx 970 and i5 4690k, has sleek black cables.

Cons: So far none.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for price

Pros: Modular
Good looking
Good Fan

Cons: Not sure if it was supposed to, but it didn't come with a manual.
Was very unclear which cables were needed.

Other Thoughts: If it's on sale, pick it up.
I was probably only confused because this was my first build, but still a very nice PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value PSU

Pros: It's a good PSU. Can't complain, it does what it does.

Cons: Only gripe is the 24Pin cable is a little shorter than I hoped. Not worth knocking an egg off though.

2 out of 5 eggsDo not use with high end graphics cards

Pros: Quiet, and works well under low-to-mid strain

Cons: Does not work with high end graphics cards. After only a few months of usage, this power supply unit would overheat and crash mid-game (when all other parts were well within safe temperature ranges), even on middle graphics settings.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None

Cons: DOA, I have used Corsair products in the past and they all work perfectly, I always had Corsair at the top when it came to PSUs. I guess I got a lemon. Replaced with an EVGA PSU which works very well.
