2 out of 5 eggsWorks for a little bit

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Good while it works, Corsair

Cons: Not very reliable, after 4 months my computer randomly freezes up out of nowhere all the time and the 3.3v 5v and 12v are at 2.5v 4v and 8v. Not acceptable

Other Thoughts: Buy an evga

3 out of 5 eggsWorked great for awhile, then burnt up

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: I had this installed in my new PC, and it handled everything great, in the beginning.

Cons: It didn't take more than 30 days working for it to burn up. I'm hoping it didn't take out everything else when it went.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed in 45 days

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Cheap. 3 year warranty if your willing to wait for the replacement while sitting on your thumbs.

Cons: I'll keep this simple. I'm a mechanical engineer. I treat my electronics 100 percent how they are supposed to be handled. This power supply failed 15 days after the 30 day return period on New Egg. Ruined my day and cost me 125 dollars when I had to run out to the store to buy a new power supply. I have no time to deal with the warranty for this product. The time it will take for an exchange from corsair will hinder my work at home business of which I use this computer for.

Don't buy this junk. The guys at the local tech store said they have had multiple customers come in and have it replaced. Stay Away!!!

Other Thoughts: I thought corsair was a good product.

2 out of 5 eggsVery Unreliable (Gave up after a year)

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: It was good when I first had it for about 4 months.

Cons: Oh, where do I begin....

First, It isn't reliable at all. I've had my custom pc for about a year and this was the first part to give out. It's sad because this was supposed to be a good psu.

Secondly, the wiring is atrociuous. Good luck with cable management

Thirdly, it'll just restart your computer at random times.

Other Thoughts: Never buying a Corsair PSU again.

2 out of 5 eggsUnreliable

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Worked fine for exactly 1yr. Had no problems, no noise, no issues until it suddenly quit a year after purchase.

Cons: Not a trustworthy power supply, since I've had this one replaced 3 times via warranty. The first one was fine for a year, the 2nd was on a train that derailed and was DOA, the 3rd failed to power on my GPU's. I'm currently waiting for a refund and pre-paid shipping for all my troubles.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. Spend an extra $50-$100 for a better PSU to avoid all the hassle of having to RMA an unreliable piece of equipment.

5 out of 5 eggsNeed Instructions

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Good construction and works well. Very low noise.

Cons: Lack of simple paper instruction or on-line documents.

Other Thoughts: My first one was not installed properly and was returned thinking it was DOA. The replacement arrived in two weeks and I found I plugged in the 6 pins connector to the CPU 4 pins. After I plugged in the 8 pins (CPU) connector to the CPU 4 pins on the MB, all worked well. If only there was some simple instructions, I would not have mistreated the first one. And Newegg does not have a way to change my prior ONE egg rating which was given unfairly.

1 out of 5 eggsCorsair CX750 Non Modular Version

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Corsair name

Cons: Dead on Arrival

Other Thoughts: Be very careful with taking the UPC code off your product box for any rebate until you are sure that the product works. I took mine off and mailed it in for the rebate because the time frame to get it in was very tight but I didn't have all components to put the computer together. When I went to try PSU later it was dead and then Newegg would not do anything because the packaging wasn't "as New". So I have to go to Corsair. If you are a rebate person watch out for this problem - maybe they aren't worth it.
