Pros: worked for 6 months. Seemed like a good price, was my first time building a computer and it met all of my requirements.
Cons: My computer wont power up at all. I accept that these things happen and am trying to send it to corsair to hopefully fix my problem. It just sucks that I worked so hard to build my computer and then a part breaks in it. Especially at a time where I left my full time job to go back to school and I really dont have any extra money to try and fix this problem. If the warrenty doesnt save me I'm done for.

Pros: Lot of people talking bad about CX series. I got a Z97 from MSI and this baby just make it faster. How? I don't know, but my benchmark score got higher. Cool and quiet. Nice mate finish.
Cons: no cons so far

Pros: Cables were easy to manage and can be concealed quite easily in a case.

Rating: 1/5Coil Whine. Died after one week.
This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
Pros: Fit and finish is top notch. Cables are very long and sleeved up nicely.
Cons: Coil whine. Sometimes, the psu would emit a high pitched buzzing noise - apparently this is a common problem with the cx series of power supplies. This noise would occur about half the time the computer is on, and sometimes even after the computer is turned off. Only flipping the switch int he back will stop it.
Other than that, the PSU worked well for one week. Then I started getting stuck in a cycle where the computer would power on for about 4 seconds (no post) and then the PSU would click and turn off, and then a few seconds later the computer would try again. Randomly I could get past this point and the computer would boot - sometimes it would then freeze during "starting windows" or BSOD a few seconds after reaching desktop. Switching it out with another PSU solved my problems immediately.
Other Thoughts: No case sticker!

Pros: -Very quiet. One thing I wanted really bad for my rig was a quieter PSU because mine got really loud and hot... - Stays very cool. Unlike my old PSU - The Matte black finish hide it well in my case and even when it is visible it just looks nice unlike my other, bright silver one. - The cables are very bendable and very easy to put in my case which is a Corsair Vengeance C70. I also think the sleeving was done very well and much better in comparison to other brands. - Plenty of cable length for even a full-size case. I have ample wire length.
Cons: Not a single one.
Other Thoughts: As mentioned before you will have a lot of extra wire length that is able to be used in a full-sized tower. And with that came a slight hiccup for me. It was nothing so major that I'd even consider knocking an egg off for but it just made cable routing a pain in the rear behind the mobo tray since I had more than needed. but like I said nothing even remotely major. I would certainly recommend this to one of my friends.

Pros: Seems to work flawlessly with my new x99 motherboard and 5820k although Corsair's website has it still listed under "still validating" for Haswell architecture. S6 appears to work flawlessly.
Cons: Every wired connection to the SATA power connectors come in at a 90 degree angle, I had to reconsider the positioning of my hard disk twice to accommodate for this.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
Pros: It was a great price at the time. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. I would recommend this only to those that are building a low grade build.
Cons: Cable management sucks, but that's what's to be expected when a PSU isn't modular. My problem with this PSU is that it works fine for about a week and then causes my system to freeze. The only way to resolve the issue is to unplug the PSU cable...I've tested eveything on my computer and have a strong belief that the PSU is causing the issue I am experiencing.

Pros: Have no Idea.
Cons: DOA, enough said
Other Thoughts: Im almost considering just buying my stuff in store, its kinda hard to get online to buy (dead) parts for your dead comp. Waste of my money, and time to find a place to get online.
