5 out of 5 eggsGreat little work horse

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: These power supplied are my go to for basic builds. Over the past year or two, I have used at least a dozen of these and have not had one fail yet. Great quality for the price. Nice and quiet too.

Cons: These should be cheaper, considering when they go on sale and you get a rebate, you can pick one up for $25.

Cables easy to manage

No problemo as of yet!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Great power supply. I have it running an am1 system with an r7 265. Fan is incredibly quiet!

Cons: The cords, they are ridiculously long! Hard to do cable management in a Corsair elite 120.

Other Thoughts: I knew buying it it was modular so I wont be taking an egg off for long cables. it was cheap!

5 out of 5 eggsReliable

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: - Cheap
- Runs Cool
- Reliable

Cons: - None

Other Thoughts: Bought this on 12/15/12 and since it's coming up on the two year mark I figured its about time to leave a good review for this power supply. It was installed in a moderate gaming rig with a load of around 300 watts used daily. I'd say this product does exactly what it's supposed to do without any sort of issues.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Starter PSU

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Affordable , it is a Corsair Product , has a fairly nice look/feel to it (As all Corsair Products). Suits budget build with low power needed , like AMD'S APU budget PCs , HTPCs and general light web browsing PCs.

Cons: The green color might not suit every system, is not modular (if you have a very small case, will cause a big bundle of un-used wires) , is not sleeved all the way (if your side panel is windowed, will make multi-colorcoded wires show).

I won't recommand this PSU to budget gamers , I recommand the CS/RM line instead.

5 out of 5 eggsDid its job very well

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Pretty much maxed its rated wattage out running a 560ti and an amd fx 4300, and it never had any issues.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: It needed a molex to pcie adapter to run the 560ti
