3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Very quiet
-Cables are easy to connect

Cons: Not a true 600W PSU. If you have a system that requires a PSU to supply 500+ watts to power your system. DO NOT GET THIS. The +12v rail only supplies 40A (480w).

1 out of 5 eggsDead...again

Pros: -Works great while it lasted
-Good price

Cons: -Short life span apparently

Other Thoughts: I ordered 2 of these almost a year ago. The one is my computer is still working great, have had no problems. The one is my husband's computer is another story. Worked fine for first 9-10 months. Then died and wouldn't turn back on. Switched out the power supply for the original and powered right up. Spent $20 to send back to corsair and 2 weeks later received replacement. The new one worked fine until the same thing happened again last night, put the original supply back in and worked fine. Very frustrating..even though one works fine, I would not buy again.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Been using this for about 6 months and it's still working with my cpu being a Phenom II X4 clocked at 3.8 GHz and gpu a Radeon HD 6850

Cons: Lots of wires because it's not modular, but it's description says it is not modular, so know what you're getting into

1 out of 5 eggsGreat! For Six Months

Pros: Powered my PC very well, ran great, quiet, reliable...

Cons: ...For six months.

Other Thoughts: Very disappointed in this. It worked fine for six months and then, out of the blue, it stopped working. I doubt I'll ever do business with Corsair again. I wish I'd bought this at Newegg so I could expedite the return but...unfortunately, I didn't.

I'll be buying a replacement as soon as possible (because I'm impatient), and figuring out what I can do with this broken PSU in the meantime.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Product, but Beware of Rebate Promises!

Pros: Would be nice if it had detachable cables, but I was able to put everything where I needed without stressing anything. Easier to manage the cables than that Antac 525 I replaced. I can't even hear the fan. Single rail is the biggest plus and it handles a LOT of hardware for it's 600 Watt rating.

Cons: None so far, but see below.

Other Thoughts: I ordered this over 6 months ago (yes, that's over half a year) and I still haven't received the rebate (yes, I followed their instructions to the letter). The company is FRAUDULENT in this regard. Just look at the reviews. Corsair does NOT honor it's rebate agreements unless you threaten them. I won't be buying any more of their products as there are other companies that made solid hardware that DO honor their agreements! I recommend geeks everywhere start boycotting the company.
