5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Full Modular
80 Plus Gold
Cables long enough to hide in my midtower and still reach needed components.
Same colored wires, makes for a clean look

Cons: Snug fit in NZXT Phantom 410. Nothing too bad, but it was a bit of a pain aligning the screws.
Cables a bit stiff, but I plan to re-sleeve them eventually.

Other Thoughts: Upgraded from a Rosewill Hive 650w (Which was a great PSU I will add). I just needed the extra juice and the all black cables and full modular on the Corsair was a nice touch.

5 out of 5 eggsBlown Away

Pros: To start with what I like, Newegg did a good job at packaging as always, and Corsair did a great one as well, much better than the previous power supply I owned, a Raidmax. The packaging print was very nice looking, and slid off to a brown box, which had the power supply inside of Styrofoam material for even more protection. That was really nice in itself. The power supply was in a nice cloth bag that I could use for anything! I was very pleased with the bag in the packaging. Cables were neatly tucked in the space by the styrofoam, also in a bag.

This was my first fully modular power supply, so I was a noob plugging the cables in, but I figured it out after a bit. I did better cable management this time as far as allowing more space in my case. But anyways, when my system runs (now at around a 40% load, this psu runs it completely silent.

I am very satisfied with my purchase of this power supply. Corsair has my brand loyalty now. They have a great line of products, and this fully modular power supply doesn't fall short of awesome.

2 out of 5 eggsWorried...DOA

Pros: - Full Modular is nice

Cons: - DOA

Other Thoughts: Started the RMA process on this PSU but I'm concerned due to the amount of negative "This stopped working" type of reviews..If my first one was DOA is my second one going to live for a month and die?

Worried worried...

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Looks nice, I even bought the white modular cable kit,

Cons: Didn't power on properly. Would turn on for a split second then turn right off. I have jumped the PSU outside of the case with only a fan connected and it did the same thing verifying that it is dead.

Other Thoughts: NewEgg won't even give me an RMA because I shipped the UPC code off for the rebate. Now I have to deal with Corsair. Hope their customer service is proper.

4 out of 5 eggsNearly Perfect

Pros: Before I got the product, my previous PC went through 3 different power supplies before finally getting fried by one.
I decided to invest in high quality products so I knew just who to go to. Corsair. And boy did they make a great product here.

When I got the package, it was PERFECT. When opening I noticed how much care Corsair put into protecting their product. For a $199 (Before the price drop) item, I would hope for some protection and I couldn't be happier. The extra cables even come with their own case.

The full modular design allows my Thermaltake Chaser to have little to no wires showing (other than the motherboard cable of course). All of the cables are black except for the motherboard cable, which has a black sleeve, so it blends in well.

The fan on the supply itself only comes on as you need it. A lot of times for me it rarely even spins. So the noise level is zero. The system I'm running has a AMD FX-8350, a WD Velociraptor HDD, and a GTX 650 Ti, so it can at times draw a decent amount of power.

Cons: I took a egg off for the cables. The connections on the hard-drive connections are pretty stiff. The problem that brings is when you want to hide the cables BEHIND the motherboard. But with this unit being Full-Modular, you won't have to worry about to many unused cables.

Other Thoughts: If your running a powerful system with multiple drives or with multiple video cards, This is a MUST HAVE. Can't beat the price for the quality.

3 out of 5 eggsCoil whine noise

Pros: Generally nice quality...

Cons: Unless you get a model that has coil whine noise, something that can randomly afflict these units. Something of this calibur and price, coming from Corsair, shouldn't have this issue.

Other Thoughts: Newegg was great and is cross shipping a unit. Otherwise, so far, it works great. Just need ear plugs at the moment.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Impressed

Pros: 80 plus gold, fully modular. Worked great when it worked.

Cons: Died tonight just short of 1 months use. No idea what caused it. Running a 3770k, ASRock Extreme6 Z77, 2 650Ti boost in SLI, Corsair H60, 16GB GSkill Trident, ADATA 256GB SSD, DVD burner and 4 200mm case fans.
