5 out of 5 eggsPerforming as Expected!

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Comes with a nice carrying case with a huge variety of modern day adapters as well as some traditional for all your fans/gpu and other hardware!

backed by a solid warranty

Cons: None, Everything is working just great! As they've always made the top PS in the industry I am not at all surprised!

Other Thoughts: Great for the single GPU user who wants the extra power to modify and future proof their case.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Like all Corsair PSUs, it works beautifully. Had no issues thus far, after two years.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Why does it come with a bag? It's a nice bag, don't get me wrong... but who's taking a PSU to-go? :P

1 out of 5 eggsDied after 15 months

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Good construction, generous cable length, heavy gauge wire in the cables. Connectors well made and plenty of them. Modular cable design reduces clutter. Fan is quiet. Case is nicely finished, no sharp edges, etc.

I can't say a bad word about the physical design of the power supply.

Cons: Died after 15 months of use in a pretty ordinary PC. no heavy loads, good case (Corsair) with plenty of ventilation, clean environment. Pretty definite failure too. Loud pop, a couple sparks flew out of the case, tripped a 15A circuit breaker on a dedicated circuit. At least there wasn't any doubt the PS had died.

Other Thoughts: I bought this second power supply as a replacement for my first Corsair power supply that died after aprox. 18 months of use as I could reuse the modular cables and not have to strip down the cabling.

I may regret it but I replaced this second power supply with a Corsair HX850 for the same reasons. I'm doing this because despite my experiences they have many good reviews and usually seem to be solid and give good service. If however it also fails early I'm pretty sure that will be it for me with Corsair power supplies.

5 out of 5 eggsGood even though it is modular

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: I was tempted to knock off the fan since it is modular, but then again find ANY PSU that isn't modular and it is a near herculean task.

Overall this PSU keeps my tower up and running and is SLI ready.

What more could you ask for?

Cons: NA

1 out of 5 eggsDead in 2 Months

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Sadly, none.

Cons: The product was finicky at first, but I wasn't certain the Power Supply caused the issues. After a month and a half, conveniently after the return grace period ended, the Power Supply fully died. Not happy. Do not buy.

Other Thoughts: I wish it would have broken while I could still return it. $150 dollars is one expensive brick/door stop

1 out of 5 eggsDon't purchase this PSU

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: It worked.

Cons: It only worked for 4 months and then it blew up. My computer was on idle and it just died out of no where. For a PSU to die after 4 months that's terrible and I won't be purchasing another corsair PSU

Other Thoughts: Terrible. They need to offer refunds for their products instead of offering a replacement. Who would want a replacement on a product that didn't work after 4 months.

5 out of 5 eggsBest PSU I've ever bought

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Everything. It's just fantastic.

Cons: None (believe me there isn't any...)

Other Thoughts: It's a Corsair so it's kinda self-explanatory. Very reliable and hold much quality. This is a great PSU, trust me.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Read the reviews from professionals. Hardware Secrets and JonnyGURU both rated these PSUs very highly for a reason.

Personally I can say that this unit has been running perfectly fine since 2013 in a moderately high end gaming system that has been upgraded along the way. The unit stay cool and makes no excessive noise/coil whine.

I can't speak to ripple since I lack that gear, but it delivers accurate and stable voltages under all load ranges I tried. The fan bearing appears to be orientation agnostic, which is definitely a good thing.

Cons: There's pretty much nothing to put here. I wish the HX750i was around when I made this purchase, but it wasn't. Not exactly a dealbreaker.

Other Thoughts: The whole kit comes with nice storage bags for your excess cables and whatnot so you don't misplace them, which is a nice touch.
