This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: This PSU is rock solid. Quiet, stable, well-built.
After having inferior power supplies wreck previous computers, the reliability and accuracy of this unit is worth every penny.

Cons: I guess the relatively high cost of these units could be considered a con by parsimonious shoppers, but I don't think this is an overpriced unit... buy cheap, buy twice.

Pros: It has a fully modular design. Plenty of extra cables stored nicely in a velcro bag. Also comes with a nice velvet bag which initially holds the PSU.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: It's a Corsair, you won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this PSU.

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: I love the modular design. Keeps my case wiring perfect. 80 PLUS GOLD cert, so you know it's reliable. Plenty of connections and options to wire up any rig.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Buy one if you like your cable management to be perfect and enjoy the peace of mind that this is an excellent company with reliable and quality products.

1 out of 5 eggsWish I'd read the 1egg reviews...

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Nice packaging. Modular. I like Corsair brand products.

Cons: Random intermittent restarts with no blue screen since day 1 and it hasn't even been 30 days yet. Started off only happening while raiding in WoW and only sporadically. Now, I've paid 50 for the repair shop to tell me the PSU is non-functioning. It will cost me 18 dollars shipping each way (even though shipping was free to buy it.) Also, missed the window on my 20 dollar rebate. Adding it all up, that's 50+18+18+20=106 cost to replace a 120 dollar PSU! I couldn't possibly be more upset about this.

Other Thoughts: I am of the opinion that this particular model of PSU should be avoided by consumers who take the time to read the negative comments. I still like the Corsair brand (I own and have owned multiples of headphones, ram, cases and other PSUs) but based on the volume of reviews, I wouldn't recommend considering this unit.

I was under the impression, wrongly I guess, that power supply units were all individually tested prior to packaging to insure performance and quality. Learned something new I suppose.

3 out of 5 eggsBeware - You May Not Get Your Rebate

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: -Functions without issue
-Quality build
-Reliable

Cons: -Do not buy this expecting to get your rebate.
-Unhelpful customer service

Other Thoughts: While this power supply unit is a great product, be wary of the rebate. The rebate manager told me this product was invalid for the rebate promotion and was not able to assist me further. Buy without expecting a rebate back.

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: This is a good power supply. I got it specifically to reduce noise in my machine, as the fan doesn't come on very often, so it's completely silent. It's modular too, so that's a plus.

Cons: The only negative is that, when the fan does come on, it's pretty loud and annoying. Usually this doesn't happen for more than a few seconds every hour of so, unless I'm gaming of course.

Other Thoughts: This thing is a monster, so make sure you've got room in your case.
