5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: The power supply came very nicely packaged. Unit is quite and running stable. Power output is as it should be on my power supple testing tool.

Cons: Connectors were very very tight. However this does make sure nothings going to fall out of place or come loose.

Other Thoughts: Not sure when I'll ever use the power supply carrying bag. But it looks nice.

4 out of 5 eggsA Velvet Bag?

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Modular and great build quality. Super silent and just... so good.
Comes with any and all cables you would need for a modern PC and even gives you two bags you can keep the extras in.

Cons: One of the two bags was a black velvet straw string bag, think Crown Royal, and it leaves me wondering "Who or what is this even used for?"
Seems like they could have just left out that bag and shaved $0.10 and that would have been a better use of their resources.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked great until it broke

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Ran quiet and cool most of the time. It was able to power everything I wanted it to. All the cables were easy to manage.

Cons: It failed 11 months after I bought it even though it stayed in the box unused for 2 months.

Other Thoughts: I'll update this review if I get it replaced through warranty.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Reliable Power
Modular

Cons: Fan made cricket noise

Other Thoughts: After a few weeks of using this I realized the cricket noise I was tearing through my case trying to figure out was the fan on the power supply. Had it RMAed but they didnt have the same PSU so they sent me a lower quality one. When I told them the one they sent me was lower quality they sent me a third one. The third one worked and it was annoying to send the original two back but now I have an AX760 and im happy with it.

2 out of 5 eggsCorsair fail

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Near silence occurred when consuming low power. Worked well when it did.

Cons: Got real loud when it came to gaming and streaming HD over network.

Other Thoughts: Used this PSU for my core i5, z77, 2x4GB setup for a little over a year and out of the BLACK my system just shut down in the middle of an important document (luckily I had already imported from word to gdocs, thank the clouds!). I thought it was a power outtage but my monitor was still on. Turns out the PSU was at fault after running a Corsair Paperclip PSU test (check the tube for it). Have to revert to a 5 year old, 500w Ttake PSU that hasn't failed me since.. now begins the RMA process -_- will never buy from Corsair again - just glad my components didn't get fried.

5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Modular, Gold Certified, rock solid reliable.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've have this since I build my current computer back in 2010 and I have never had a problem with it, ever. It's quiet and allows me to only connect what I need. It's run SLI no problem and I was able to OC.

My computer is pretty much always one (when I'm home), so I am pretty impressed with the reliability of this PSU. I've had some iffy power supplies in the past... but this.... this is definitely not one of those.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome build quality

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: - great build quality
- very quiet
- powering dual gtx760, 32gb ram, i7 4790k (all overclocked) with easy
- the little things (cable pouch, packaging PSU in silk bag)

Cons: - PCI-E and CPU power cable couple inches too short. Little to no wiggle room with them to make use of any cable management, had to straight line direct connect them on Corsair 550D case.

5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong after 3 years

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: I have had the older version of this PSU running strong in my PC for 3+ years. Fan is silent. Cables are a nice length. Good clean power.

This PSU has seen two platform upgrades and two cases. Fits perfectly in my CM HAF XB case.

Cons: None. Great reliable PSU. Corsair has never let me down.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: As in previous review dated ~ 12-2012

Cons: As in previous review

Other Thoughts: PSU failed bad. Some caps went KA-BLEWY.
Corsair honored warranty with NO problems.
I sent the unit back in original box with all components (cost $25) Corsair concurred and have sent me a NEW replacement.

A guy can't ask for more then that
