5 out of 5 eggsGreat Power Supply with ZERO PROBLEMS

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Great packaging, not fully modular but for the price it was great. Best of all i have had zero issues with this power supply and it has been well over 3 years of constant heavy gaming.

Cons: The only con and its not really a con is the price tag but this was back three years ago.

Other Thoughts: If your looking for a solid power supply that will last you a good while then look no further.

3 out of 5 eggsWorked OK for four years

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Lot of plug in on modular unit.

Cons: Died in four years
Poor support at Corsair since you can't log into their warranty help site and no phone number to call in for help.

Other Thoughts: I bought another one this year for half the price of the one 4 years ago. At that price it is OK if it also lasts four years.

5 out of 5 eggstruelly sad to see its discontinued

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Durable
Powerful
Quiet
Affordable

Cons: It's discontinued

Other Thoughts: Have had this power supply in my rig since summer of 2012, without a hitch it has performed beyond expectations.

From crossfire to sli configurations it had taken a beating, never had any issues, still running today with an 980TI and I'm just thrilled.

Have burned up psus in months before and had been threw quite a few.

Before I tried this one out I only ran PC power and cooling since I was tired of buying. A new psu every year.

Anyways this is a great power supply and corsair is a great brand.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Power Supply

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: - Very good power supply
- Found nice extensions for the 6 pin, 24 pin and 4 pin though they would not be necessary for all builders, very nice cables are included

Cons: - Ran into no defects with the unit

Other Thoughts: - I would recommend this to anyone who needs power in their rig!

5 out of 5 eggsSupplies Power

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Makes all the whirly bits whirl and all the blinky bits blink

Cons: um... yeah, I'm at a loss on this line

Other Thoughts: On a more serious note, this power supply works great, power output is even and stable, cables are a good length and easy to route and organize, PSU fan moves a ton of air and it's quiet as a mouse napping. If your looking for a 750W PSU then this should definitely be one to consider.

2 out of 5 eggsUpdate

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: The new PSU unit came in, it's working as it should, I have my doubts on how long it'll live though since the original blew up. It took a memory slot & two RAM sticks when it did.

Giving 3 eggs, look at cons.

Cons: Their customer support is laughable. I contacted them several times, only to be greeted with a notice of them being busy with several other customers. I was told to leave a message, asking to be contacted as soon as possible. It was more than a week and they hadn't contacted me back. I doubt 16 people take a week to help. Don't ever rely on their support to get anything done, how disappointing.

Corsair, if you claim to care for your customers so much, then make an effort to help them.

Next time I'm going Seasonic.

Update: Jan 11, 2016
Haha are you serious? 3 years later and the thing is already beginning to fault.
My PC won't even turn on from time to time unless I flip the switch off and on again, I fear what may come in the near future, definitely never investing in a Corsair product again.

Other Thoughts: Their PSU is good, but just hope yours won't be defective like mine was. You would think a "top quality" product would prevent damage to other components should it fail, but obviously not. Thankfully my RAM is always under warranty, as is my motherboard.

5 out of 5 eggsTONS OF POWER. Connect/disconnect cords as needed.

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: - TONS OF POWER.
- Connect/disconnect cords as needed.
- QUIET.

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: They give you plenty of extra cords and connections. They even give you a little Velcro bag to put all your extra goodies into that you don't immediately need.

Purchased this primarily for a GAMING rig.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU while it lasted

This review is from: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Bought this PSU nearly three years ago and ever since then its been working flawlessly! What can I say? It's a PSU. It powers up your components. And it does a good job.

Cons: Sadly though today it seems to be on its last legs. There's a frequent high pitched but low sounding whine coming from it full time with no programs running. And when in games a very loud Buzzing noise is coming from it on top of the whine. Still works. But odds are it is dying. Bought a new RM850x from Corsair to replace it. But during the time I had this it has been fantastic!

Other Thoughts: Giving it the full 5 eggs due to the time it lasted without issues. Manufacturer warranty is still active but honestly I got my moneys worth from it. So just going to buy a replacement and see how it goes. So far a good PSU from Corsair! Getting another Corsair PSU and hopefully it lasts as long, or longer!
