5 out of 5 eggsGreat psu

Pros: Single +12 rails means yu will not have issues with sub par amps to the pci-e power connector. Great durability and design.

Cons: Not modular but not a big deal

Other Thoughts: Think of your rails like this with this psu its 12v rail receives all the 850watts of power. If you have a 1000w psu but it has 4 12v rails each rail is only recieving 250w meaning if you pci-e connections run off of the same rail all of your video cards share 250w of power which is not adequete for modern day cards in sli/crossfire

5 out of 5 eggsvery good bag

Pros: The bag is absolutely amazing. I am able to overclock the bag to over 8 pounds and it still is very stable. The bag had an amazing spreader on the inside of it to keep the bag from rubbing against itself during transport.

Cons: The spreader was very heavy. You think you could use something like a down pillow instead of a steel spreader to save on shipping expense.

5 out of 5 eggslots of cable

Pros: used this for my first build and it really looks nice and clean and good perfomance so far.
long cables good for mid and full tower case even better if your case got a cable management system.

Cons: not really a con but theres alot of cables like other reviews said if you dont have cable management in your case youll have a hard time.

Other Thoughts: this can only do SLi and Crossfire if your planning on building a pc with more than 2 gpu then this is not for you. wish they made a modular one.

5 out of 5 eggsOdd buzzing sound when light dimmer is on

Pros: Works well, powers an i7 930 overclocked @ 4.0 Ghz and two Gigabyte GTX 460's in SLI with core overclocked to 800mhz

Cons: I resolved this issue so it's not really a con, but I almost gave it a low review because of this.

I was getting a very annoying buzzing sound from the PSU, I tried different outlets, different power strips, nothing worked. But then I found the culprit - my dimmable lights. I had installed these lights on a ceiling fan a few months ago and figured out that when dimming is enabled it makes this PSU buzz, I had to either keep lights at 100% or keep them off. I guess the lights affect the circuitry going around my office, something I'll have to look into.

Other Thoughts: I wonder if that light dimmer was what caused my old PSU to go bad, my old PSU was always loud even with the lights off but now that I think about it, it wasn't until I moved into this new office that it started going bad and progressively worse.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome psu

Pros: Corsair makes good products, you cant go wrong with this powersource. It does have a lot of cables but they fit nicely in my antec 1200.

Cons: Maybe to many cables for the average case build?

Other Thoughts: Was testing fans on this when I got it, didn't think anything of it, it would not run, I flipped out about RMA RMA? and after an hour thought, oh. I guess the motherboard would complete the circuit! and it worked fine a week later after i got all my parts :D

5 out of 5 eggsNice PS

Pros: Solid construction, has every cable you should need. 8 4-pin molex, 8 SATA power, 6 PCI-e (6+2 pin) power connectors, etc.

Cons: Cables are a bit long, which leaves a lot of excess in most "normal" cases.

Other Thoughts: I have a few empty 5.25" bays and was able to tuck all of the extra cable in there without cluttering up my case, so no harm no foul.

5 out of 5 eggsso far so good

Pros: Great power for the price. Single 12V/70A rail simplifies things. Works great for 2 GTX-460's in SLI, i7-930 @ 3.5GHZ, multiple HD's and enough fans to levitate the case. Lots of connectors, enough 6/8 pin PCIe power plugs for 2 GTX460's(4) plus a Physx card(2) if you were so inclined.
Seems to be very quiet, 140mm temp. controlled fan.

Cons: Not modular but knew that going in, big bundle of cables makes wire management a chore. Scary having all those open live connectors rattling around your case.

Other Thoughts: Didn't go with the 'Egg this time, found a much better deal with a rebate and free shipping.
Don't you love the feeling of relief when your system boots after ripping out the old power supply, adding a second GPU and rewiring everything? My old OCZ 700W wasn't up to the SLI task, so this baby did the trick with power to spare.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Many cables/plugs, quiet, runs cool, more than enough power for what I need, not flashy or lit up like most other power supplies...this thing is built to do one thing, push the power you need.

Cons: One of the pros is also a bit of a con...lots of cables/plugs, there's so many that it is almost impossible to tuck everything and have the interior of the case look good. Going with the modular version(tx850) would solve this problem.

Other Thoughts: Great power supply for the price, can't go wrong with Corsair.
