5 out of 5 eggsStop looking; this is what you need

Pros: I've had many power supplies over the years but this company continues to produce outstanding power supplies. I would just stop looking if I was you; just buy a Corsair psu.

Cons: None. Period.

Other Thoughts: I love the case sticker that comes with this. Looks great on my HTPC case. If you have a small case then I strongly recommend a modular power supply like this one here. You might find another one that is cheaper but just remember; you get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING PSU.

Pros: well, i've had this PSU for over 2 years. its gone through hell and back. i rarely ever turn my PC off for more than an hour or 2 and its still running great. i've shorted it out many times (don't ask.) and ran alot of heavily Overclocked hardware on it.
at one point i had my pc (e8400@4ghz, numerous fans, a couple HDDs) with a 9800GX2, which i also heavily overclocked and voltmodded and this powersupply didn't wince a bit. by far the most solid component i have ever had.

Cons: only con is that people underestimate this unit.

5 out of 5 eggsA Perfect Replacement

Pros: Great PSU, after my previous PSU unceremoniously fried on me, I ordered this unit from Newegg, might I add great service on their part, PSU arrived ahead of schedule (bravo!!). Swapped out unit in no time at all as it is a very straight forward setup. Excellent device for the price bracket.

Cons: None so far.

4 out of 5 eggsCords made manageable.

Pros: With all the power cords that are coming with power supplies this seems to be an easy fix for the extra cords that you do not need or want just hanging in the case. Very simply to pick the ones you like and connect those, leave the remainder in the easy store pack.

Cons: Directions are extremely limited, but they are not really needed.

Other Thoughts: Overall, good product, easy to use cords, lots of extras,

5 out of 5 eggs2 years of stable power

Pros: I got my 520HX from Newegg around January 2008... I've had it for almost 2 years now. My brother is on his third Antec PSU in about the same time period. I don't bother unplugging my rig during storms anymore, because the 520HX just doesn't seem to notice brownouts. The appliances and clock radios in the house will reset, but my PC just keeps on ticking. The 520HX is quiet and has never skipped a beat. Thanks to SilentPCReview for recommending this amazing power supply.

Cons: Cons? I can't leave this blank? Um... The 520HX is quiet enough that it makes the 2 low-speed 120mm fans in my PC sound really loud. So I have to go find some quieter case fans.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Rebranded Seasonic. Very, very quiet. Great price given the rebate/bundle combo I managed to get.

Cons: Overpriced if you can't get it in a nice bundle; get the Seasonic instead. The Seasonic also has longer cables which may be a plus. Yellow stickers are a bit silly.

Pros: Very reliable, very quiet, modular cables.

Cons: Only thing I can gripe about is that it's not 100% modular. 24-pin, 8-pin, and 4-pin cables are permanent, so you can't swap them out for shorter cables.

Other Thoughts: I like it so much I bought another one for my next system.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive quality

Pros: I was immediately impressed with the quality of the modular cables on this power supply. The sleeving is very attractive and tightly woven, extending down the entire length of the cable and not just to the first connector. The included fabric pouch for any extra cables is also a nice touch. I'm by no means stressing the powersupply with my current hardware configuration, but it is also extremely quiet.

Cons: None thus far. I'm still waiting on my $40 rebate. Hopefully all will go well.

Other Thoughts: Gigabyte P55M-UD4, i7 860, 2 x 2GB Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1333mhz @ CL6, Quadro, all shoehorned into an old Dell Inspiron 530 case.

Pros: Great PSU, love the modular design. Only use what you need so there is no need to tie off unused cables.

Cons: Some cables are a little long but Cosair gives you zip ties to pin things back.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding Power Supply

Pros: Very quiet, capable, and well designed Power Supply. This rugged design, (probably capable of 600 W), runs cool, and the modular design is clean and well thought out. 5 Year Warranty, great voltage output, and highly reliable.

Cons: No cons on this Power Supply.

Other Thoughts: I have exclusively used the larger 620HX Power Supply for the past 3 years now, (4 units purchased, no failures), but I had need of something a little less powerful so I chose this. If you need a rugged, quiet, and dependable 520 Watt Power supply with modular cables, you need look no further. You can give this Power Supply 10 eggs.
