5 out of 5 eggsTotal silence

Pros: - Silent PSU. My case fans is now the loudest component of my PC.
- It has connectors for two videocards.
- Modular connectors.
- It doesn't get hot even after many hours of usage. Though I will test it when I have time to play graphics intense games.
- Probably one of the best totally silent PSU out there.
- This is 80 plus certified PSU.

Cons: - Kind of heacy due to large heatsink.
- Price is still high, but you get what you paid for.
- For that price, maybe it should come with different color LED which you can switch on or off, like Corsair Gxxx series.

Other Thoughts: This PSU being totally silent with no fan at all, chances are it may need air flow coming from the PC case itself. For example, in my HAF922 I have the PSU at the bottom with 200mm intake fan cooling the hard disks and some air will also flow towards the PSU.
Then I have GTX285 videocard with updated fans pointing at the PSU below.
And last there is another 200mm fan on top of case for blowing out the hot air. Although even with heavy usage my system doesn't get very hot, just warm.

5 out of 5 eggsKingwin 500 watt fanless works great!

Pros: It's running two MSI R7870 Hawk CrossfireX video cards very well. Stealthily silent and runs fairly cool, even while running BOINC at 100% stress. So far, I'm very pleased with this PSU. It provides sufficient power for the AMD FX-6300 Six-Core CPU (and two CrossfireX cards). Also running 16 Gigs of RAM.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It's an excellent addition to my fanless computer!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm

Pros: What's to say? It keeps my PC cool and has no fan. I like it. Been running for almost a year and still ticking.

Cons: None so far.

2 out of 5 eggsDied After 9 Months

Pros: It's silent, modular, and super efficient.

Cons: Mine died after about 9 months. I started noticing "random" reboots while my computer wasn't even in use with nothing in the Event Logs to indicate software/driver issues. The reboots became more frequent and while stress testing to try and pinpoint the problem, the power supply tripped my motherboard's surge protection feature.

Other Thoughts: I don't assume that my case is typical, but it's really annoying when a piece of hardware dies like this. I'm going to have to take my entire computer apart and redo all the cabling due to this failure.

I am RMA'ing the power supply with Kingwin (5 year warranties are nice!), but I will probably just sell the replacement and use a new PSU I just ordered.

5 out of 5 eggsForget the rest and buy THE BEST

Pros: Totally silent, designed beautiful, nice box and package, it's silent, runs cool as a cucumber, no fan to suck in dust. Nice silicone covers are used to cover the unused modular ports.

Cons: Not totally modular as the PCI-E cable is hard wired. Guess they figured most people use it so there's no reason to make it a separate cable.

Other Thoughts: They include thumb screws to mount the power supply to the case. Seemed a bit silly to use them, standard case screws are fine, it's not like I'm going to remove the thing on a regular basis.

5 out of 5 eggsFavorite PS EVAR

Pros: Is it even necessary to say that this PS doesn’t make a sound? It has no fans so don’t worry about it. I’ve got this unit in my bedroom computer for a reason. The power supply doesn’t even break a sweat in delivering power and it stays cool. I’m only using one of the (modular) power connectors so the other 3 are not taking up space in my build.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsWorth Every Single Penny

Pros: Slient, DEAD SLIENT
More Power Than Anyone (except them super pros) need
You can't find a better 500W than this

Cons: Not Fully Modular, but this is nick picking as you end up using all the cables that aren't anyways

Other Thoughts: A Passively-Cooled PSU that has 500W?
Amazing and performs Just As Amazing
No problems, in fact all my PC I'm ever gonna build is either going to have this or another Passive-Cooled PSU

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome PSU!

Pros: This PSU is super efficient, easy to install in my coolermaster HAF 912, and extremely low heat. I think it was definitely worth the price and will never revert back to the loud old school PSU's.

Cons: Not really a huge con, but the power supply was just a millimeter off when trying to put the screws in. Still fit and def not worth docking an egg.

Other Thoughts: I wish this came with more cables to support case fans.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: no fans, can be used up to 600 watts.

Cons: Took it out of the package and heard something moving around. a plastic heatsink piece was not securely attached to the parts inside and to the case. I had to risk and remove the cover and reattach voiding the warranty.

From now on, kind of skeptical on Kingwin's build quailty.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat so far ...

Pros: I have 2 of these on Asus Z77 Sabertooth boards (3770S with HD 4000 and 3770K with GeForce GTX 460).

Both PS's are cool and quiet.

Cons: Nothing yet after a few months of 24x7 usage.
