1 out of 5 eggsSucks.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: The sticker on it that says "with Noise Killer" seems to be bull... the fan on this PSU is unnecessarily loud.

Other Thoughts: I got this PSU from an old Systemax system that died (I wanted the case because it looked nice) and I am planning on opening it up and replacing the fan if I plan to use it at all.

4 out of 5 eggsworks, extremely loud

Pros: It provides power. Enough connectors to get the job done on an older PC.

Cons: It's extremely loud. The loudest PSU I've ever owned. Easy to single out in room with a full tower running 6 PATA drives, 3x8cm and 1x12cm fans! For a few dollars more I could've gotten an 80Plus PSU that would probably have been quieter. No SATA connectors.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet.

Cons: My computer is now restarting over and over.

Other Thoughts: My old power supply was starting to go bad (very noisy). Nothing else was wrong with the computer. I installed this power supply and the time it took my computer to boot up and log on extended 10x. It worked okay for a few days besides the long bootup, and then when my monitor started to go blank for screensaver mode it had the error "out of range" and went blank and would not come back on. Now my computer is restarting over and over.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Cheap PSU from a good company. Very quiet.

Cons: No sata connectors. Be sure you dont plan on sticking in a sata drive cause you will have to buy adapters to connect to the 4 pin molex to power it. Not an overly huge deal tho.

Other Thoughts: I've used 2 of these over the last month to fix a couple of Dell machines for friends. Great replacement power supply for cheap. Heck of a lot better than the psu a Dell comes with, both of theirs had dead 3.3V rails. If you have an aging pc or one that doesn't need much power (no high end vid card, ton of drives) I suggest this power supply. It's so quiet and the voltages are dead on when read with a voltmeter. Very little ripple on the dc outs. Great power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked Fine

Pros: It worked out of the box and was able to boot up my old desktop. The fan was also fairly quiet compared to the old fan.

Cons: I had to swap a bracket from the old power supply and bend the case to clear the 120v/240v power connector, but no big deal.

Other Thoughts: I used this to replace a Newton Power power supply that burnt up in one of my ancient Gateway desktops. This power supply worked fine and booted up the desktop, but unfortunately the desktop turned out to be far beyond repair, so I had to return it to NewEgg.

5 out of 5 eggsReplacement for Gateway

Pros: No issues, was able to install into an old'ish Gateway! Looking for a 6-pin aux., this one had it, be cautious some of the fans that list an AUX connector do not have one . . . this from experience. This was my third fan from newegg which finally had the 6-pin aux

Cons: None so far. Booted the computer, no issues.
