2 out of 5 eggsIt works but...

Pros: It turns on... Isn't very loud.

Cons: Dust inside the unit. Its listed as being Refurbished... it isn't. Its Straight up used.

Other Thoughts: Refurbished means its cleaned, tested, and it just like new. This thing isn't cleaned... can see the dust on the fan and in the cooling fins.

4 out of 5 eggsQuick Fix

Pros: Not particularly noisy. Appears to function as advertised.

Cons: The wires are like spaghetti. Expect to use several cable ties if you want it to look nice.

Other Thoughts: This is a cheap power supply. It should have plenty of juice for an old Pentium 4 or Athlon 64. I installed it in an Athlon XP machine and it's been working great for about a month.

1 out of 5 eggsdoa

Pros: Dead on arrival

Cons: You would think that someone would at least plug them in before they boxed them. Not worth the hassle of sending it back. I know it's refurded but really plug it in at least.

Other Thoughts: Would have uploaded the video of myself throwing it in the garbage if it would have not taken up my time.

3 out of 5 eggsDirty !!!

Pros: Cheap cost

Cons: Except shipping, legacy equipment. Needed for old AT system, I wasn’t pleased with the dirty appearance or fan. I know it’s refurbished but hey take some pride in your work.

Other Thoughts: If this wan any other refurbished euiopment it would have been shipped right back for full refund

4 out of 5 eggsSeems decent.

Pros: This refurbished psu gets relatively high marks in professional reviews. Very cheap compared to what it retails for, new. Came in plastic shrink wrap, looked new until I opened the wrap, wherein I could see some film of dust on the fan - not surprising. Seems quiet - but I just installed it a couple hours ago. No problems.

Cons: No SATA power connectors on the unit I received. Not particularly a problem for me, since I am using an old hdd. But most folks will likely want SATA II connectors if they are building a new (modern) computer system.

Other Thoughts: You can get the molex-SATA conversion connector, but unless you have one handy, at some point it's a bit less of a steal than I originally thought.

2 out of 5 eggsRefurbished??

Pros: Works as expected, has the -5vdc in the 20pin connector (used on many HP systems). Plenty of power at 300w and lots of connectors. Well regulated and noise filter are very good. Well packaged, tape wrapped in bubble wrap - no box.

Cons: Refurbished - internal cooling fan noisy due to dirt build up.

Other Thoughts: Refurbished does not mean cleaned. If we had to buy again we would buy new and suggest you do to.
