5 out of 5 eggsGreat Quality

Pros: Sparkle has always made great quality power supplies. I've been purchasing their brand for over 5 years now, and have yet to see one actually fail. You can always tell a good power supply by its weight...cheap ones are light, while usually, the better one's are nice and heavy. This particular model has an over-sized fan on the bottom, which is a really nice feature because it provides more air volume with less voltage and RPM's, meaning the fan should last for many years without fail. Total thumbs up to Sparkle.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: I have used several of these as general replacement power supplies, they are heavy and are made of decent parts. Work good and power is clean and stable.

Cons: None

2 out of 5 eggsJust died...

Pros: Quiet and solid for nearly 3 years.

Cons: It just died and appears to have destroyed a least one HD in the process. PSUs should last longer than 3 years, and killing my hd is not a nice way to say good-bye.

1 out of 5 eggsGood while it lasted

Pros: Cheap, quiet, and it worked great for over 2 years.

Cons: Doesn't work any more.

Other Thoughts: A PSU should last longer than this, regardless of price.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet, does what it should

Pros: Nice big fan, plenty of power connectors for a non-gaming rig, CHEAP and efficient power. Has SATA connectors if you need them.

Cons: wasn't free:-p No cons for this price, you can't expect multiple rails and wire sheathing etc.

Other Thoughts: Was a nice replacement for an older socket 478 system I use for TV/Movie rig, wanted something QUIET and efficient. I'm not using a crazy video card, so this worked out fine.

This system doesn't require much for a power load, and if you're looking for a powerhouse you should be looking for at least a 600w.

4 out of 5 eggsQuiet, easy to install, few connectors

Pros: Cables are the perfect length for the case I bought. Not too many to tuck away in the case - so great for organization.
Looks great in the case I bought as well. Is quiet, and seems to be running steady.

Cons: Only one cable with SATA, and the only two connectors are about 4" apart. This means if you have an SATA CD drive and an SATA HDD, you'll probably have to do some interesting arranging to get them to work without a converter on one of the other lines.

Other Thoughts: Ensure you have enough connectors on this PSU to use it, and get the proper accessories first if necessary.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for buck!

Pros: I didn't get this from NewEgg, but my local technician replaced my old power supply with this one, now my computer is much quieter and there's no hot air coming out of this thing.

Cons: It's kinda big in my small VIA VT3861 case. It can be difficult to put stuff into the 5.25" drive bay... But you can always remove it and put it back on.

Other Thoughts: My setup:
Case: VIA VT3861
Motherboard: Gigabyte 7ZXE
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 2 MX/MX 400
Hard Drive: 80GB Western Digital Caviar
Processor: 1.3Ghz AMD Duron
RAM: 2x 256MB PC133
Optical Drive: HP dvd1040

I would highly recommend this Power supply if you do only light gaming/regular use. No cooling is needed for this thing since the fan for it is HUGE!

As you can tell, I don't do heavy gaming.
Unless you count Zoo Tycoon 2 as heavy gaming.
