Supporting up to 4 SATA II or I hard drives, the Highpoint RocketRAID 2300 PCI Express controller card is perfect for entry-level storage servers. Supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 and JBOD the RocketRAID 2300 can not only backup data but can also significantly extend the storage capacity of any system. Compatible with PCI-x 4, x8 and x16 arrangements, it will support up to 300MB /s for each SATAII drive slot, and works with dynamic sector repair and remapping.
The RocketRAID 2300 offers RAID 1 for data protection and ensures that the operating system is always up and available in the event of a disk failure. For gamers and PC enthusiasts, it offers RAID 0 for performance. READ / WRITE activities will greatly increase ensuring enjoyable game play with today's feature rich and system intensive gaming software.
Operating system support is offered for Windows, Windows x64 Editions, Mac OS X, Linux (open source) and FreeBSD (open source).
