Pros: Being used as a host computer to Tesla. Solid construction, everything on it is enterprise grade. No cheap stuff. Lots of clearance well made. Easy to drop in cards. Added 6G/sec RAID card. No problem running with onboard 3G/sec RAID. Drive for OS is on 3G/Sec onboard SATA. data files are stored in 6G/sec RAID. Compatible with MANDRIVA 64 bit Linux using dual XEON E5649 Westmere. One of the easiest to setup no fuss. Came with two cooling towers with heat sink compound. No need to buy cooling towers.
You get what you pay. And this is worth every penny.
Good airflow.
right now running with only 48G registered+ECC DDR3 WINTEC 3RSH13339R5H-16GK. Didn't bother with hex channel kit. Get three dual channel. It's just fine.
Cons: It's enterprise grade server so its heavy. don't forget, it has two power cords NEMA5-15 plug.
Other Thoughts: I may rearrange the mounting and use a rack.

Ownership: 2/5
Rating: 4/5high-quality, solid-build case
Pros: Amazing quality, beautiful case. Very solid construction. Enough power for 4 GPU + 2 Xeon CPU. Excellent airflow and cable management.
Cons: Noisy! Even when it is turned off! Case model number is 747 and it does sound like one under load!
Does not have front audio outputs. Does not have eSATA & Firewire. No USB3. Only 6 SATA internal connectors. No SATA power connectors for DVD-RW drive (had to buy an adapter).
Other Thoughts: At this time, this barebone was the best solution for us to be able to have 4 GPUs. If we could only put it in a separate room... I did not buy it personally, but my organization bought it for us.

Rating: 5/5Awesome
Pros: Own 2 of these machines. One is my ISPs primary Mail server and the other is a Database server for over 300 MySQL databases. The Database server handle a sustained average of 70 requests per/sec and is running about 10% processor load. I have 64GB RAM and 2 2.66Ghz Processors.
THe mail server is running same config and handle about 4M inbound pieces of mail per day with a little less than 15% cpu load and a Linux load average of about .5 most of the time. No problems what so ever on the boxes. Install was smooth and all that was needed came in the box.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. This is a higher price unit but as far as the quality it can not be beat.
