5 out of 5 eggsDVI Capture.

Pros: Works great for what I'm using.

Cons: I would use in a vista or xp machine just for capture from newer hdmi pc's or from tv.

Other Thoughts: I like my USB capture divice best.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None - I never got the computer to boot up

Cons: I concur with the warning about this card NOT being compatible with some motherboards. It is not compatible with my board (AMD 4800+ CPU on NFORCE6M-A v2.0 with nForce 520LE chipset - Running Windows XP Home)
My computer wouldn't even get to the post screen on boot up. As soon as I removed this card from the computer, it booted up properly.

Other Thoughts: Buy a different video capture card with good reviews and is compatible with Vista/Win 7 so you won't have driver issues when using those operating systems. I didn't get far enough to install the “free” software, but after my own troubles and reading the other reviews, it makes me believe this product is designed poorly. It's not worth the "headache" trying to trouble shoot the thing. Buy something else.

3 out of 5 eggsCouldn't make it work with Win 7

Pros: It works properly when installed on Win XP & Vista OS. Video capture was A/V synchronized all the time while Hi-8 were transferred. Didn't try with VHS. Has firewire port to directly transfer videos from digital video cameras.
The decoder chip that is used is CONEXANT CX23883-19.

Cons: Didn't work with my Windows 7-64. Contacted Kworld and they gave me a link for Vista-64 driver which didn't work. In device manager there is the exclamation sign and it says the drivers are not digitally signed...blah..blah (Code52).
In XP or Vista Nero & many other softwares didn't recognize the device. Only the provided Cyberlink did.

Other Thoughts: I wish Kworld fixed the driver issues otherwise would have been a great useful product.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: Bought this for analog capture which it does pretty good with the enclosed software.

Cons: None for the price I got it for.

Other Thoughts: Had hoped Pinnacle Studio would be able to use the analog capture of this card like the older versions that used the Connexant chipset but Studio doesn't even see the card. But I am able to capture with the software provided and then import into Studio. The card and software work as advertised tho.

4 out of 5 eggsit works but requires extra effort

1 out of 5 eggsGood Price - Bad Product

Pros: Looked like it was a good buy. $20

Cons: Does not work - captured video always has frame rate problems after a couple of seconds.

I installed this in a Quad Core 3.2GHz computer with 4 Gb memory so the computer speed is not the problem.

Other Thoughts: This product is junk! DO NOT BUY.

5 out of 5 eggsits okay i guess

Pros: easy to use. only card i can watch a video and record and there is no bleed through into the speakers from the recording.

Cons: hates win 7. tried for hours and no fix helped at all. worked great in vista though. weird. recorded files are HUGE! but a video converter fixes it.

Other Thoughts: light years ahead of the dvd dazzle i used to use.

1 out of 5 eggslots of cables

Pros: lots of cables, maybe I can use then for something else, as this doesn't work.

Cons: It will recognize my canon camcorder, display it on the screen, BUT it just does not capture the video feed. So that's the end of editing, cropping, etc.

Other Thoughts: the pdf manual is worthless, trouble shooting options are a joke. But the joke is on me for wasting $20.
