When it works it does actually work well.

Cons: Destroyed 4 flash drives and an external hard drive.

Other Thoughts: I replaced the card with a spare I had purchased and it does work and work well. But I can't get past the burned up flash drives.

Pros: Works great! Great price! Windows 7 (64 bit) didn't recognize without installing driver. Went to SybaUSA.com, downloaded driver, installed, restarted computer - perfect! Very easy -- needing to manually install a driver is not considered a "con" & doesn't take away from being a 5 star product.

I used standard shipping. I ordered it on a Friday and got it the following Tuesday

Pros: When it worked, transfer rates were great. Board is compact and installed easily.

Cons: The board failed after around 1 year of use. The board is recognized and started at system boot up, but within a short period of activity (or longer period of inactivity), windows reports a unresolved problem with the boards operation and disables it. The board then appears under device manager as: VIA USB 3 Root Hub "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

Updating to latest Syba or VIA drivers did not resolve the issue, nor did moving the board to another PCI-E slot. Syba recommended returning the board, though from other reviews it does not appear that replacements will last either.

Suggest that Syba issue upon return a different USB 3.0 board with similar configuration in place of this board.

Pros: Its 3.0

Cons: Died after a week of use. Never got around to writing a review about it. Its been sitting in a drawer for months not dead.

Pros: Extra usb ports. Easy installation.

Cons: It randomly stops working, randomly crashes all of the usb devices, and occasionally causes the computer to blue screen.

Updated drivers do not help.

I would not reccommend this product, it is just sitting on my shelf collecting dust now.

There are three possible causes:
1. Wrong driver was installed. Please manually install the driver provided on our mini CD
2. Try the card in a different PCI-e slot and make sure the card is firmly installed into the slot. Also make sure that all cables are firmly in place.
3. Connect the power to the molex power connector in the back of the card.

Pros: It does what I need it to, and that is to drive my terabyte external hard drive with the speed and efficiency of a usb 3.0 device. no need for drivers, just a 4-pin molex connector.

Cons: Only complaint is that it is in the way of me getting a bigger vga card, but that is the fault of the mother board and not the card.

Other Thoughts: If you're having trouble with this card, make sure it wasn't damaged during shipping, make sure that all four molex pins are properly making contact, and always use anti static gear when handling exposed pcb boards.

Pros: Inexpensive, or just cheap. Take your pick.

Cons: Tested on two machines: Lenovo D20, and Lenovo M52. Tried both drivers: CD and chip manufacturer's site. Used Windows 7 Ultimate. On both machines all of the drivers installed successfully. On the D20, the card had no response at all. On the M52, the card works at USB 2.0 speeds with 3.0 devices. For the time spent fiddling with it, I'd say get a card with the TI chipset instead of the VLI.

Other Thoughts: This is my third SYBA card. I have two PCI-X SATA cards with the SIL3124 chipset. They have driver issues as well. I've used them with XP, XP-64bit, and Windows 7. They are consistently inconsistent.

Pros: none

Cons: I got an overheating USB warning right away after it was installed. There were no devices plugged in yet. Divers from the disk did not work. I went to the suggested download location and got the latest and they also did not work

Pros: Worked great, nice and fast

Cons: Died suddenly after 7 months. Worked one day, next day it didn't. Still supplied power, but no USB connectivity even after reboot and then power down and re-seating the card.
