5 out of 5 eggsWOW! This thing is seriously fast. You can feel the raw power

Pros: Got this baby at "French Fries" Brand New for $509. Amazing deal for the 3gb version. And it came with Assassins Creed in CD form instead of DL.
I went from Dual 6950's 2gb (Major driver and stutter problems), A single gtx 570 2.5gb...to this bad boy. I have to say this thing is super amazing. I wanted nice graphics and 60FPS in BF3 and this thing did the Job. You can easily max it out in BF3 and get 45-60 AVG FPS. I just toned down to SSAO and shadows and Mesh on Medium. And Lowest frames Ive seen is 53 and that is when things are super intense and hardcore. You can definitely run BF3 with 4xAA and Post AA on High. This thing doesn't flinch. I wanted a fast single card and this did it.

Cons: Fan is actually not too loud under full load.
Highest temp I have detected was 75c after 3 hours of intense gaming. Just create a custom fan profile in MSI Afterburner. I also have this thing OC'd at 915 core with voltage bump so 75c is super nice :) I wish I can get another one soon but I will wait for prices to drop even further.

Other Thoughts: I have mine OC to 915 core and 1830 shader at 1113 volts. Stable as butter. Smooth gameplay in BF3, Mafia II, Just Cause 2. Amazing graphics.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card!!!

Pros: So far this card hasnt let me down in anyway. Currently running 2 at 900 core clock at average 75-80c, granted i have a wicked air cooled computer. Replaced 3 gtx 570s as i was running out of vram for my nvidia surround setup. Runs almost all games max settings with decent AA no sweat. Tiger direct and f r y s both have product for 509$ but fist one purchased from tiger was doa.

Cons: None at all

Other Thoughts: Buy it you wont be let down

5 out of 5 eggsSupercedes

Pros: Excellent card in all regards. 3 gig is plenty for DA:2 and Crysis High RES packs enabled.

Disassembled the card and applied Arctic Silver and the card now is silent. Metro 2033 or Crysis 2 is barely audible under load.

Cons: None that I can think of. Await patiently for Skyrim and R@ge to see if those bring out any complaints.

Other Thoughts: System:

2600k
16 gigs corsair vengance
this

runs well at 19x10

5 out of 5 eggsBang for your buck!

Pros: I'm running 2 of those babies and the performance is insane. First Zotac Card, but I've did some research and they haven't let me down yet (not like anyone else complained). I wish i could've traded my second copy of AC/BH for another game though but heck it was free after all.

Cons: make a standard ATX crowded. Had to remove the HDD bay on the bottom. This card is LONG and HUGE + it eats a lot of Power (6&8 pin power)

Other Thoughts: I can't wait till I get my other 2 monitors for 3D Vision Surround to give the cards a good ol' workout.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent 3GB card

Pros: 3GB memory is very useful for ultra high resolutions.Got this card to run in three way SLI. The components used in this card is decent and appear to be of high quality. For a 3GB version of the GTX 580, Zotac priced this baby wonderfully! Why spend $50 more on the leading brand (starts with an "E") when you get the pretty much the same banana with this videocard?Got 3 of these to run in 3 way SLI for a set up with 3 24inch LCD panels (5760x1200).

Cons: For some reason, I'm unable to overclock this card beyond 800mhz.Its not realy a con, because even at stock clocks, the GTX 580 is already a beast of a performer. But as a power user akin to overclocking and pushing the boundaries of sanity,I wish I could've at least hit 850mhz! The leading brand ("E") did! Took out 1 egg for that.

Other Thoughts: 3 of these cards are perfect in running triple monitors up to 5760x1200..Maybe even 7680 x 1600.Dirt 3, Dirt 2, Hawx, Hawx 2 and BFBC2 can be maxed out using these cards. (triple screen) Crysis, Crysis 2 and Metro 2033 are also handled well but cannot be maxed out (Very high settings only...Crysis 2 ultra will drop your FPS below 45fps)..Word of caution for those who are planning to go with triple SLI and triple screen: The GTX 580s run cool on the average machine. But if 3 of these beasts are used to run triple screen, expect your cards to heat up dramatically. My idle temps hovered in the high 50's (56-59C) and topped 85C under load.Triple screen set up will HEAT UP your 3way SLI cards so be very careful in choosing your case and airflow set up. If however you only intend to use a 30 inch panel with 2560x1600 resolution, then these cards in tri SLI will be ok..idling around low 40's &max out around high 70's (celcius). Remember: TRIPLE SLI+ TRIPLE SCREEN= HEAT.So consider watercooling.

4 out of 5 eggsOverkill

Pros: Basically the best single GPU card on the market right now.
It's not ATI :D
Nvidia's drivers are pretty stable right now (finally).
h264 decoder supports 16 reference frames.
Supports 7.1 uncompressed audio over HDMI.

Cons: HDMI output is a bit weak. The signal shows signs of corruption if I connect it directly to my projector over 50ft. I have many other video cards that have no problem doing it. I was able to get a clean signal by going directly to my receiver over 50ft instead.

Other Thoughts: 3GB is probably overkill. By the time I have anything that will use anything close to that much, this card will probably be obsolete.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome! No vram limit anymore!

Pros: This card is fast , runs cool, and has 3gb ram , you can crank up AA and not run into a ram limit.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these elsewhere, put on evga high flow bracket and backplate , they look great. You only need the ram if you are running 2560 x 1600 or higher otherwise the 1.5 gb version will do. My 30' monitor hp zr30w was hitting a vram limit with 2 x gtx 570, I got these and am very happy with purchase.
