This card is the best bang for the buck I've ever seen

Cons: when you first turn on the computer its very very loud sounds like a vacume cleaner but once you install the new drivers from nvidia and windows loads it very quiet

Other Thoughts: it didn't make any sense to blow alot of money on a new card because Direct-X 11 cards will be coming out in spring maybe summer 2010 this will tide me over till then

this card is AMAZING for 2 gigs at 94 bucks

4 out of 5 eggs"Sparkle"

Pros: Cheap as dirt, 2 solid gigs of vid memory made for jaw-dropping increase in preformance from my nvidia 8800GTS. (however - the GTS Still works, and will be my emergency spare)

Cons: terrible software/drivers CD

Other Thoughts: go straight to the nvidia site, download the latest drivers, UNPACK the .exe, and be sure to fully remove all nvidia drivers and software before you attempt to install new ones
When first installed, the fan sounds TERRIBLY loud. Fear not, once the drivers are installed it's volume is halved.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Graphics and speed

Pros: This is my second geforce videocard and I have to say, it greatly improved the speed of graphics, games, video, and photo programs.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If your into games or video and photo creations, this card is a must to invest in. It has great color and what you see on your monitor will print out the same.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for CUDA

Pros: This card is excellent as a co-processor, it can multiply floating point
2-D matrices (500x30)x(30x800) in about 3 seconds! which is 461x times faster
than my current Sempron processor. The great amount of memory is the only limit
for the matrix sizes.

Cons: none so far.

Other Thoughts: although this is not the best performance chip from nVidia
it lets you do some really serious math crunching per buck.
working in M2N-LR motherboard, 2 Gigs of RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Honestly.. I wasn't expecting this to be so good... This card is runs everything i throw at it at max setting remaining perfectly silent... 2 Gigs is unbeatable... but only 256 bit... This is much better from what i had expected...

Cons: Well... its cheaply made, but you get what you pay for...

Other Thoughts: After my HD2900XT you can understand my relief.. I an never buying ATI again and i am getting another one of these....

3 out of 5 eggsnepats522

Pros: Nepats522, simply move your modem card down one slot. Your computer may ask you to reinstall the drivers, but it should do this automatically. If you're using broadband (ethernet), then this modem is unnecessary and can be removed. Uninstall the device from device manager, shut down your computer, and remove the card. You should probably put the metal cover you removed for your video card over the pci slot on your case, for you do not want to expose your motherboard...

Cons: It's not the 9800

Other Thoughts: Next time, provide an email for contact (use a throwaway if you don't want to give out your "real" email).

4 out of 5 eggsneed some help...

Pros: I ordered this then realized that i was going to have problems installing this FAT thing above my sound card. I have an old dial up modem just below the sound card that seems to have the same slot as the sound card. So how would one go about moving the sound card down one slot and remove the modem card so i can fit this thing in my comp.

Cons: Any help would be appreciated.
