Very attractive looking card. Not loud. HDCP/HDTV out. Nice software tuner package, though it's not needed as stock performance is quite excellent for the price block. Cons: Physical dimensions are quite large. Not silent (it's not loud, but not silent, either). Requires compatible power supply. Other Thoughts: I don't do hardcore gaming anymore, but the card has produced excellent image quality with very fast speeds. Obviously wasted on WoW, but 60fps+ in Shattrath with absolute maximum settings at 1440x900. Definitely a humongous upgrade over my old 9800 Pro, and it's quieter to boot. The features on this card are very good, and I'm very happy with the performance. So much performance for under $130, and in SLi mode, it will meet virtually any gamers needs for the foreseeable future. Did you find this review helpful? Cons: None Yet Other Thoughts: This card has great cooling and great performance. It runs almost 10 degrees cooler than my 8600GT. Upgraded from an EVGA 8800 GTS 640MB to this. noticed about a 15% performance gain, which shouldnt be surprising but this card is TECHNICLY a 8800 GT with a 55nm Core instead of a 65nm. but thats not the only plus side, comes with a cool OC utility. and this specific card is special. the one i read reviews on only had one PCIe 6 Pin plug where as this one has 2. Basicly. i got this card with a P5Q Deluxe MOBO and it almost has as many cool veatures as the motherboard does . Good for OCing Kingwin 800w Modular PSU E8500 Dual core Wolfdale 4gig OCZ Platinum Ram. 5-4-4-12 2.1v (DDR2 800) Cons: Open Box??? i got it ant everything was A OK. Static free wrapping was fine but i was missing the user manual. Big Whoop. if you dont know how to handle and install a video card on your own by now you should buy this card to smack yourself with. Other Thoughts: There are two lil Jumpers on this card. havent yet done the research on them yet but they look similar to Cmos Reset Jumpers. makes sense cause a bios flash utility is incorperated into the OC software. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful.
