Pros: Looks good, The card is well built and sturdy. The cooler is much quieter than reference design. The card averages 68c in crysis 3. Plays most games at max settings with frame rates at or above 60fps. Card is long, but it is not thick and can easily be cross fired. Pc mark 7333 in firestrike bench.

Cons: The card is long and will not fit in many cases thanks to the extra long cooler. FPS hang in the 20's very often when playing crysis 3 with all settings maxed out. This seems to be average for most high end cards, crysis is a beast, and can easily compensated for by turning off AA.

Other Thoughts: I was able to overclock my card to 1175 core and 1500 memory on air. The core voltage is 1184 and the memory voltage is 1600. I have not been able to hit 1200 but I am sure that I could if I increased my voltage to 1250. I will see if I can get a Waterblock that can fit this card, then I will be more aggressive with my overclocks.

Cons: I bought this card just barely a week now, and I am having issues with the screen going blank. It does this at random and is very aggravating because I have to turned my computer off and then back on to get the display back. Sometimes I hear 2 beeps and that tells me it's not coming on. Reset again and hope I don't get the beeps. when you are playing your game, and it goes blank, I mean come on.
I know it's this card because I put another video card in and no problems.

Other Thoughts: You know you pay good money for this stuff and then it doesn't work, and New Egg is out now, so what do you do?

Pros: - Overclockable
- Works well for BTC mining

Cons: - Noisy and massive, but that was expected
- Uses ridiculous wattage

Other Thoughts: It seems to take some time to "break in". For the first few days I was getting pixel jittering, but it went away and hasn't been back for months. Also went through a phase a few weeks ago where it would BSOD, but this has also stopped completely. Both issues likely due to severe overclocking.

Pros: Runs absolutely everything in my steam library at full graphics. My Catleap looks incredible!

This card overclocks like a champ. I run around 1150 MHz GPU and 1600 MHz Memory clocks are stock voltages and it barely reaches 65 degrees centigrade.

I've found that Sapphire TriXX works really well with overclocking this card.

Cons: High Pitched coil whine in some games where the FPS runs incredibly high. Like in menus and stuff. It makes the card sound like its crying and then I get kinda sad too.

Nothing to take an egg off though, it's just loud enough to be noticeable. You can cancel it out with your speakers at medium loudness, or just wear headphones.

Other Thoughts: I recommend this card to everyone with a wallet full enough. It's one of the cheapest 7970s on the market.

Pros: Affordable price and very powerful. Also stays really cool.

Cons: It stopped working after the second week, while investigating it damaged my motherboard.

Other Thoughts: I lost the box and newegg wouldn't replace it, or the mobo. I know it's my fault but on a limited income I've lost over 550$ from newegg.com. It could have been a lot less painful had the support worked with me. I am very sad, just be careful with it.

-Temperature are really good. I OC it to core 1125 and memory 1500 and the max temperature i have seen is 70!

Pros: Runs everything I throw at it on high/ultra, and still plays the games without breaking a sweat.

Cons: This thing is HUGE! Do some research, I upgraded from a 6750, and figured it was about an inch longer than the 6750. I was wrong, its about 2 inches, and it does NOT fit in a storm scout case, I had to snip off two of my hard drive slots to get this bad boy in there. I thought my case was big enough, so make sure your case is BIG!

Pros: When it worked, it was quiet and powerful. Ran BF3 almost on max across an eyefinity setup at exceptable frame rates, very cool design to it and backing plate eliminated any type a sag on the very long card.

Cons: after about 5 months of use, I came home to a shut down computer. restarted to a blue screen (ati*****.sys) before the windows splash screen. EVERY time. Safe mode was fine, removed all drivers restarted, worked fine. Once I installed the drivers and restarted, same blue screen. Fresh install of windows, it was fine, installed drivers, blue screen. Put it in two other computers, blue screen. Throw my other 7970 in, everything is fine. No driver changes prior to it acting up. RMA is through a distributor and not the actual company, who knows how it will turn out. I'm going to guess I get my card back and I'm out of luck. Never thought about sending anything in under warranty because I never have had too. I will pay more attention to where it will be going from now on. Was told around 4 weeks turnaround time. That's insane, consider how fast others are. I can just hope for the best I guess.
