3 out of 5 eggsDriver error?

Pros: Pretty good gameplay and speed. Ease of installation. and packaging/instructions for the non-tech savy.

Cons: Tech support takes about 1-2 hours PER CALL to answer so use a landline or you'll run out of mobile minutes. I had to decipher arab/english to explain my problem. So far two cards had burnt memory before installation, after install... Driver error from windows and colored fuzz-screen.

Other Thoughts: At least, when u send your stuff in to get it replaced they do it. Just gotta pay for shipping so that's not bad.

5 out of 5 eggsBFG 9800gtx+

Pros: This thing may say 9 series but its the same as the GTX 250 too!!!
Core = 802
mem = 2612
shader = 1944
it runs into the 80C in a well vented box but is stable!!!
for what i payed and what its priced at now its worth every penny for a mid rang card will get all your games running good res and still get 60+ FPS

o ya and its running the new 55nm core!

Cons: is a bit HOT! Water cooling for max overclocking. but stock cooler will overclock nicely and still run stable.

Other Thoughts: I cant complan about this Vid card cheap stable good overclocking and will handle all new age graphics! what more can I say?

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card So Far

Pros: This graphics card runs great for my computer, keeps cool with no external fans and runs all the games that I play on Very High, this includes Crysis.

Cons: It sometimes freezes when I play some of my games, but that is very rare. It usually isn't the video cards fault, but it still happens sometimes.

Other Thoughts: Great buy, can't wait to SLI this bad boy.

5 out of 5 eggsit keeps on comeing

Pros: this thing is unstoppable, i hear people bragging about there triple SLi getting 35 fps on crysis, im hitting around 27 frames with just one of these bad boys, it may be a little warm, but ive only had a single crash, after a new setup and drivers, nothing at all

Cons: it isnt plated in gold, they didnt send me a free candy bar and all my icecream is gone

Other Thoughts: AMD phenom quad core black edition on an ASUS board with 8 gb of ram

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Card is sexy. The is powerful to the point that its hard if not impossible for a P4 machine to keep up.
Make sure you have a machine that can keep up.

Cons: Kinda big so make sure your case can handle it.
Also the card takes two PCI-E power ports.

Other Thoughts: I need to build another machine to keep up with the card as my 3.0 P4 with 3 GB ram wont do it.
I cant wait to see what it will do with a dual or quad core system.

5 out of 5 eggsA-maze-ing

Pros: im playing crysis on high settings 1650x1200 AAx4
looks amazing, and im running 34 fps
it does show visible lag when alot is happening

using this for video editing in premiere, cuda support is awesome, rendered my 5 min video with effects in like 1 min or less

this card is running dual monitors constantly, with games and with premiere, no viable issues with this at all

Cons: the wires that come with it are kinda cheap
i used the standard molex to 6 pin for a mod so it don't matter

the power plug on the card is facing out, towards your window
just looks bad, no issue, probably so you don't have power issues with the long card in stubby cases.

Other Thoughts: i know that graphix performance isnt just in the graphix card, for a game to run good, you need a full system.
i can honestly say tho, this makes a huge diff.

upgraded from a 8800 GT 512

ASrock A780GXE
AMD Phenom II X4 3.0Ghz
8 gigs of Gskill 1066mhz
1x 500gig WD Green (weakest link)
1x 1TB WD Green (data drive)
500 watt PSU

5 out of 5 eggsso far so good

Pros: received it on the 22th, and been using it for 2 days now, it's running real good.

runs cool, 45C idle and 67C under stress test. normally temp in the mid to high 50s during gaming.

i upgraded from a 8500GT, and the performance increase is actually more than i actually expected.

Cons: HUGE CARD! I have to buy an Antec 300 case for this card to fit, since it won't fit in my HP pavilion case....

It BARELY fits on my Micro-ATX board, took me like 15 mins just to get this thing in... and it covers 2 SATA ports on the board too, not to mention the fact that the fan is resting right on top of the RAID controller...but just high enough to clear it...pure luck here xD

it still uses the 65nm core, instead of the 55nm ones which i do believe are available for 9800GTX+...

Other Thoughts: It only require 1 6pin power connector, instead of 2 as stated.

I used a Ocz 600W PSU for this, i know it's way more than what's required, but i might SLI this later on...

i'm getting over 12k points in 3Dmark06, used to be getting 3.1k....

my system:(HP)
Q6600 @2.4Ghz
3GB DDR2 RAM @800Mhz
9800GTX+
720GB hard drive (360x2)
OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W PSU
Antec 300 case

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: -extremely powerful card
-came with WoW and COD: World at war (runs both games flawlessly with no lag on highest settings)
-scores a 5.9 in both graphics Vista performance test
-has duel monitor support and HD out

Cons: -Card is HUGE
-Would not fit in my standard mid-tower gateway model PC (without some modifications; I had to remove the HD cage and just lay the HD inside the case)
-Produces A LOT of heat
-Requires two power connectors (only comes with one, the other I had to hunt around Charlotte to find.) The Connectors are "PCI Express power connectors," your PSU might have an extra on it, if not, you have to go out and buy another (Huge PITA for me)
-I had to upgrade my PSU (lucky for me I had one at my house; I am running a 450watt PSU and it does fine (recommends 475 watt))

Other Thoughts: Besides everything stated above, I am completely satisfied with what I bought. I paid ~$130 and got 2 free games.

I honestly could not see what you would need a more powerful card for.. I am running any game I throw at it with full settings and the frame rate does not lag at all.

You DO need a decent PSU to push this card, it really is a beast of a card. I was speechless at the size when I got it.
