1 out of 5 eggsIt might be great, but it wasn't for me.

Pros: None - it was a disappointment for me.

Cons: I bought this to upgrade an 8800 GT system with a Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.4 GHz). I saw a DOWNGRADE in performance over my 8800 GT, making this an unworthy expense for me - hence I returned the card. I'm not sure what caused the problem, but my suspicion was that my motherboard was PCI-E 1.0. I just decided to put off a video card upgrade until my next computer build.

Other Thoughts: A friend of mine bought a system with the larger memory buffer GTX 260 and reviews show a disparity between the 896 MB and the 1792 MB versions, so research your choice before laying out the funds.

5 out of 5 eggs!!great!!

Pros: The price is unbeatable for this kind of quality and graphical power.Runs WOW,cod4,codwaw and fallout 3 like a beast.

Cons: Its large, but that's only a con if you don't have the room for it.

Other Thoughts: This card definitely places my faith back in nvidia.

2 out of 5 eggsWhoops

Pros: Looks really neat
Good price for promised capabilities

Cons: QC Inspection
Size

Other Thoughts: I'm disappointed to be sending this card back without being able to try it out. When I read in other reviews that it was too big for people's computer cases, for some reason I assumed they meant it was too tall . This thing measures 1.5" tall by 4.5" deep by ~11" long!, which made it too big to fit in my case. If manufacturers are going to make cards this big, I think that they should list the dimensions on their websites or at least on the box (as should Newegg) so that consumers don't get a surprise when they open them up and try to install.

I also found while trying multiple configs to make the card fit that there was something rattling around inside its case, so even if it would fit, I wouldn't want to run my computer with it installed. Maybe I just got a rare lemon, but make sure you know your space constraints before you buy this video card.

5 out of 5 eggsI love this card

Pros: This is a power house and the dollar figure was right for the amount of power and just greatness this card producesses. I love this card to death.

Cons: I bit too big for my case but its not the card's fault, she is just more to love.

Other Thoughts: I might get a Cooler Master 690 To help with airflow and adding some room for the card to breath.

5 out of 5 eggsThe cats meow

Pros: This card is amazing, hands down. I ordered a sapphire 4850 thru newegg for my first ever build but it was DOA, so i rushed out to Best*** and picked up one of these for much more then this price as of 9/9. I do not regret it and would happily buy another for another machine. Ive played Mirrors edge, Fallout 3, Crysis, WoW (120fps easy), Oblivion (With many graphic mods to increase the looks and still had over 70fps at all times) on all max setting without any issues. Even now im playing the Aion Open Beta and getting with everything maxed at a modest 1680 by 1050 resoloution 100+ fps. Nvidia has always made good rpoducts, much more favorable to ATI to me.

Pros:
Runs very quiet
Win 7 64bit auto detected and installed drivers...no need for disk.
Runs every game that I have and then some, I would guess im future proofed for another 2 years.
Doesnt require an absurd amount of power...running with a 630W power supply tht is also powering a duel core chip...AMD 550 BE Callisto 3.1ghz

Cons: Tbh I havnt had any problem with this, I did I have to move my hard drive up a space to fit it cuz this thing is huge, but for anybody who has done tht it takes a whole two mins, screw out, shift, screw back in.

Does require two 6 pin connecters, which is new to me cuz im used to older cards which didnt need dedicated power, but even me who has never put one in a computer plugged them in and away it went.

Other Thoughts: Hands down this card will do what u need it too. I may not be able to came in 1080p on a 50 inch flat screen tv, but so what. If I wanted that I would spend the money for it. Im running it on a very modest acer 22" widescreen at the max resoloution of 1680 by 1050 and it looks amazing. Also, bfg does offer a step up program I have to look into, so getting into a 275 or whatever may be nice and cheap if I decide to upgrade...not tht I need it

5 out of 5 eggsThird BFG card.

Pros: BFG brand name means you can throw anything at it, never worry about artifacts or crashes, and spend your time worrying about other things.
This card plays all games currently out, with the eye candy, and it does it well.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card after experiencing many issues playing World of Warcraft with my Asus ATI 4850 512. I no longer have issues playing World of Warcraft, and I get the added benefit of having a newer more powerful card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: I had a Evga GTX 260 (paid almost $300 less than a year ago) and this one was so cheap I decided to give SLI a chance. The first time I SLI'D the cards it worked however this BFG one was at least 20c higher than the EVGA one. A few times the card reached 110c and shut down the computer. I sent that card back and received a replacement promptly. I understand that hardware is hardware and chances are you will get a defective one sometime. The thing is NewEgg was awesome at the exchange and set a new one ASAP. The new card is exactly the same temps as the EVGA one and works great with the two in SLI. I thought since one was BFG and the other EVGA, I would have issues but none whatsoever. This is the 192 core version not the 216 which is what I wanted since the other card was 192 as well. I can't stand when people compare this card to a completely different product but o well. Card over clocks very nice as well and the lifetime warranty isnt bad either.

Cons: Comparing the Evga one to the BFG
Out of the box the Evga numbers are
Core clock 602
Shader Clock 1296
Memory Clock 1026
Note: No where did it mention that it was factory overclocked.
BFG 260 GTX:
Core clock 590
Shader Clock 1296
Memory Clock 999
Note: Bfg card has a big OC sticker on it.

Out of the box Evga's 260 GTX 192 core has this card factory overclocked a bit higher.

Other Thoughts: Great card for the money, works like a champ in SLI with a different manufactures card. Overclocks very nicely as well.

5 out of 5 eggsworks great.

Pros: bought this for a friends build, runs great at stock speeds, awesome performance for the lower end of the gtx series.

Cons: worth the money when i bought it, but the core 216 models are better and sometimes cheaper.

Other Thoughts: has a lifetime warranty through bfg so you probably shouldn't throw it out.

1 out of 5 eggsThis card's garbage.

Pros: none.

Cons: I bought one of these cards last month. I had good expectations. But it did not impress me. So i bought another one for SLI. But the thing is, the other card I received was DOA. And because i was so angry at this card, i said screw this, i just took both the cards and dumped it in the garbage. Went on Newegg and bought me a GTX 285 by EVGA. That is one card that's worth the money.

Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money on this junk.

1 out of 5 eggsFPS Horrible

Pros: Looks like it has a side vent, but really doesn't.

Cons: This video card is horrible, at least in 3way SLI. The frame rates are very poor. I had all three video cards set up in 3way SLI and I was getting 15-20 fps. I checked, double checked and triple checked my configuration, everything was set correctly (games, bios, and software) and drivers were up to date. My motherboard supports 3way SLI, power supply is SLI compliant with the correct connections, and my memory is also SLI ready. I am highly unsatisfied and would like to warn anyone intested in this video card: DON'T BUY IT!

Other Thoughts: Free Games = A hassle with RMAs.
