4 out of 5 eggsMy Experience

Pros: Cheap, plays a lot of my games on high, hd videos run good, and great price for perfomace rate only 256 bit bus card youll find for 70$

Cons: The first card i got lasted about a week. It started to show a bunch of purple and green lines. I checked to make sure it wasnt my ps, my monitor, or anything else. I decided to return it and get a new one. So far with my new card Ive had no problems and it works fantastic. :)

Other Thoughts: If your really on a tight budget and you play a lot of games I would recommend this card. But from what Ive seen from other reviews this card is really a big risk. But its also one of the best deals on a powerful card. You wont find a better price/performance rate for a card. For someone who dosnt feel they wanna take the risk I would recommend the Radeon 4670. It may not be as powerful but for someone on a budget and wants to just play all the newest games its a great buy too.

2 out of 5 eggsOne of the lowest priced 9600GT's for a reason?

Pros: When it worked it worked good.

Cons: This card would work good until I shut my computer down for the night. Then the next morning I would start it back up and it would come on in 16bit color and 800X600 resolution and it would not let me change those settings. After about the 3rd restart it would let me change the settings and work fine the rest of the day. Newegg sent me a new one without any hesitation. The problem with the new one was that it would not power on at all, period. I called Biostar and they told me it was a problem with my computer and that it couldn't be their video cards. Newegg then sent me a RMA and refunded the full price of the product and gave me a $15 coupon for my next purchase. My new 9600GT video card from another manufacturer has been working flawlessly.

Other Thoughts: Seemed to have a cold start problem.
I may have just gotten unlucky with 2 bad cards in a row. Biostar seemed completely uninterested in helping me. Newegg on the other hand, handled this very professionally.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Bang For The Buck Is Amazing!

Pros: My 7600 GS was getting a little long in the tooth so I wanted to upgrade on the cheap and while doing a little research this card was shown to be 5x as fast as the 7600 GS in the online benchmarks. My Windows Experience Index went from a 4.6 to a 5.4 once I slapped this card in. I know have World of Warcraft on the Ultra setting with 8x AA and it is running at around 61FPS. There is no slowdown anymore with Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing! This card is fantastic for the price (I paid three times as much for the 7600 GS four years ago!)

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: For comparison my rig is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ with 2GB PC6400 RAM.

If you are a gamer on a budget you can't go wrong with this card!
