5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Fast as a 7950 with light overclock, maxes all games I own. Great price. Basically getting a 7950 for much cheaper.

Cons: Can get a little warm.

Other Thoughts: This is a great card. 7900 series performance for 7800 series pricing

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Exactly like its supposed to

Pros: Plays WOT on high at 40-50 fps.. Plenty smooth enough.Bought it to replace my aging gtx460 and give radeon(aka ATI) a 2nd chance as they failed miserably a few long years ago with the 9700 pro. So far so good but time will tell.

Cons: No cons. It does exactly what reports say it will do. Read the reviews from the professionals if you aren't sure.. seriously do your research. Its on par with an Nvidia gtx660ti.

Other Thoughts: Toms say it would be great and it is. For those that complain that it needs 2, 6 pin power connectors, well, you should'nt be buying it. Your power supply is too old and their are other things you need to upgrade first, (like everything in your pc). If your complaining its too long well your not serious enough of a player to own it so buy an HD7750 as even the most basic gaming case will fit it. Its longer than a gtx460 and the gtx uses 2,6 pin connectors and it's 6 years old. system-gigabyte 990fxa-phenom II 965. 8 gigs corsair vengeance 1866 ddr3 powercolor 7870 le(Tahiti) corsair force gt ssd (240gig) old coolermaster Elete case with coolermaster GX 650watt power supply

3 out of 5 eggsCooler could use more QA

Pros: Card performance is good

Cons: Fan causes overly loud vibration from spinning up when playing games, Mediocre support experience

Other Thoughts: I think the fan is flawed on my card, as it starts vibrating as though it's hitting up against another part of the card when playing games. I reached out to their support. Deny had me verify the temps of the card. When I reported the values he responded "If the system running fine and not with any errors or BSOD, then sounds like normal at this moment." My previous card was a Sapphire Radeon 6870, and while it had some noise when it spun up for cooling, it sounded like a normal fan spinning a lot of air, not like it was vibrating against the card. I've had better support in the past from Powercolor from Hugo. I was disappointed this time.

5 out of 5 eggsA Couple of Months In--The Findings

Pros: My previous review rated this at 4-5 eggs, still remain the same.
-The HSF: you would think it would be great. Big Alu sink with a good sized fan and copper pipings, but this is not enough unless your case has sufficient air-flow, and you will need to use a custom fanspeed profile (for ex. MSI afterbuner).

- There are no heatsink on the VRAM chips. They are Elpida chips that are rated at 1500MHz, so they could run without it, BUT I don't suggest OCing it unless you put heatsinks on them.

- VRM will run hot when OCing. You can either upgrade the TIM used on the VRM chips, or you can replace the heatsink itself. They look like they would be (physically) okay if you just upgrade the TIM.

-OCing: Both mines OC the same at 1200MHz GPU w/o voltage bump. But again, this will push the VRM temp up! Be careful.

- For watercooling notes, I swapped in some Swiftech universal GPU waterblocks, fits perfect. Drop the GPU temp by half--an near silent. The GPU is a 7900 series, but the mounting-holes are stock/reference 7870.

Cons: Please read above.

Other Thoughts: YOU NEED TO SETUP A CUSTOM FAN PROFILE, OR YOUR CARD WILL PROBABLY OVERHEAT! Afterward, with a decent airflow, preferable a case w/ a side fan, it will be okay.

1 out of 5 eggsFails stress test :(

Pros: When the card works, it's nice and powerful.

Cons: The card gets hot really fast. In an open case, during a stress test, the temp quickly rose to ~95. As soon as it hits that temp, the computer hard restarts. The fan was spinning at about 95% at this time.

Other Thoughts: I really wish the card worked correctly. I guess I'll have to go with another brand.

1 out of 5 eggsLasted 3 weeks.

Pros: It's a card, meets spec. Box promises stable 15% overclock. That's about what I got... For awhile.

Cons: Computer suddenly shut off, would not restart. Put the old card in, fixed. So off to California this card goes to be RMA'd.

Other Thoughts: I always thought powercolor was a cheesy name. Now I think the products might match.

5 out of 5 eggsWell Worth it.

Pros: Runs games like Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, Dishonored, etc at a very respectable 50-60+ fps at 1080p on a 24 inch monitor. The newest beta drivers from AMD work great with the card (I find better without net 4.0 installed). For the price bracket I really can't think of a better solution.

Cons: It can be a bit loud, which doesn't bother me but could be a deal breaker for some.
Included drivers aren't the best but you'll probably be using AMD's anyway.
Chugs a bit at higher resolutions, but that's obvious from the price bracket.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for an under 300 dollar card grab this one. It's well worth the money.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card, bad drivers

Pros: I love the card itself, stays cool, and the graphics are awesome. Handles all games I want on high or ultra (depending upon what is available) and will likely keep up with games for a while

Cons: HDMI audio drivers from AMD have a known issue when switching between a fullscreen game and the desktop. The audio will randomnly cut out. Owned the card for 3 months and they still haven't fixed the issue. sometimes disabling and enabling devices works, sometimes you have to uninstall and reinstall drivers.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Video card

Pros: I out together a brand new gaming rig and this card had some great reviews from Tom's Hardware. I haven't bought an AMD card in about 6 years. It replaced my GeForce GTX 550 Ti. This card makes the older 550 Ti look ancient. the clarity, frame rate and just over all picture quality is just amazing. I am going to buy another and make it Crossfirex. I also received two games with the video card, Tomb raider visually stunning graphics are amazing but not my cup of tea. the other game is Bioshock Infinite. I couldnt believe how amazing this game looked on the best settings with zero lag. the framerates were amazing. If you are looking for a cheaper card than geforce 680 tx this card is a very suitable alternative. I highly recommend this card and want to say Powercolor did a great job, they will give Sapphire care a run for the money. Check out the reviews on Tom's Hardware too. Another thing is it runs really cool considering it only has 1 fan. Idle sits about 32C while playing games around 40-45C

Cons: Not really a con but this is a massive card. I would check the specs out to make sure you have the room in your case. I use a NZXT Phantom 410 and it fits just fine.

Other Thoughts: I can't wait to get my second card when I have the cash.

5 out of 5 eggsGood stable card

Pros: Runs stable, no issues in any games that I play.

Cons: Requires two 6 pin power connections.

Other Thoughts: I'm done buying the ultra high-end stuff. Always run into disappointment there. You spend a ton on a high-end card and get some fire spewing, PCB melting, temperamental time-bomb. These mid-high end cards are the ticket. They run cool, play everything I need reasonably well, and don't melt themselves into paperweights.
