Cons: I bought 2 of these and after a half day or less one of them begin to rattle non stop... the fan was hitting the shroud. It did that in every position, flat, upright, perpendicular, in the case and out of the case. I sent it back for an RMA..... crossing my fingers and hoping the one I get back is like the good one I have and not the bad one. :/ Other Thoughts: I still gave it 3 eggs because the cooler on it is one of the best single slot coolers I have ever seen... it even Overclocks well. The other one I have has been running non stop for several days now and has not yet exhibited any signs of an unbalanced fan. I do however not plan to purchase anymore of their products as this is the second video card in 2 weeks time that has had serious problems. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you? Cons: cooling fan to shroud clearance problem. fan hits the shroud. idles @ around 39C - 42C, 57C - 63C @ full load in a 70F room. thats problly considerable for a single slot cooled grapics card. Other Thoughts: built around my "budget gaming pc" Apex mi-008 Asus P8H61 mini itx Intel core i3 2100 3.1GHz Crucial 4gb ddr3 1333 OCZ agility 2 60gb the fan will be making noise once you start your computer until the fan sets itself in its "neutral linear" position the it stops hitting the shroud. the fan itself is hitting the cover/shroud, its more of fan-to-shroud clearance problem. this will be more of a problem when the graphics card is facing 'down' parallel with the ground, the gravity pulling the fans weight down the shroud edge. solution: orient the graphic card so that its perpendicualr to the ground. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful. The single slot form factor makes it a lot easier to fit into my prefabricated HP case, but it is rather long so it was still a snug fit. Cons: Card makes a TERRIBLE RATTLING NOISE from the fan on start-up that that clears itself within 2 to 3 minutes, but is still quite startling. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful. Did you?
