The EVGA GeForce GTX 770 marks an evolution in gaming performance: an insanely fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience every time. Powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU GTX 770 of 1536 cores and 2GB of GDDR5 graphics memory all work side by side to deliver awesome gaming performance. NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology pushes PC performance to new levels with precise controls. And equipped with EVGA ACX cooler, the EVGA GeForce GTX 770 provides you with an extremely quiet and reliable gaming experience.

  • newegg EVGA ACX Cooler With a 40% increase in heatsink volume, the EVGA ACX is more efficient at dissipating heat, allowing for 15% lower GPU temperatures. A reinforcement baseplate maintains a straight PCB, and helps lower mosfet temperatures by 7% and memory by 15%. Even the fan blades are of the highest quality; with a 700% increase in strength, and 25% lower weight when compared to competitors. This makes the fans 20% more efficient by requiring lower power levels. EVGA is also using double ball bearing fans which offer a 12-year lifespan, four times longer when compared to competitors!
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up, not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls — including GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage — to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760x1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision, and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent a year later

Pros: Fast card, over a year old and I can still run all my games at max settings (when it behaves) and easily get 60 FPS.

Cons: This card is apparently not without its faults. Some, but not all of my games have issues with this card. Especially with Witcher 3, the game would CTD with errors about the display driver no longer responding. Other times I'd just receive a black screen and could hear the game still running, but not displaying any video. Could find no physical fault - i.e. no overheating. Took me forever to find a workaround for the issue. I'm now using MSI Afterburner to underclock the core speed by 25mhz. This has resolved all problems.

Other Thoughts: Decent price for the card, but its unfortunate it doesnt seem to work fully as intended.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked at first but now it doesn't

Pros: Super fast, ran Far Cry 4 on Ultra. Couldn't handle Battlefield Hardline on Ultra, but ran perfect on High. And I have a 34" 3440x1440 resolution Ultrawide monitor. Loved it while it worked.

Cons: Worked really well for a few months but now I can only play games for 15-20 minutes before my screen goes blank and my computer freezes. As another reviewer mentioned, if you wait long enough the game will resume (Far Cry 4), but after this happens a few times I get a blue screen of death. Resetting doesn't even get me past the boot menu.

I thought it might have been my hard drive or RAM causing this issue since the graphics card was new, but I tried removing each stick of RAM individually to test them, and ran every spyware/adware/virus removal tool out there, registry cleaners, everything.

The return policy was 30 days and now I feel cheated.

Hopefully EVGA is listening and can replace my GPU. If so I'll edit this review to reflect that.

Other Thoughts: Only has one HDMI port and I have multiple monitors. I wish there were at least 2.

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsSeriously Dissapointed

Pros: Runs good when it works.

Cons: Randomly crashing, loss of video and fans ramping to 100% just like my 580 that was DOA a couple years ago.

Other Thoughts: Never buying a EVGA product ever again.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Michael B.,

I do apologize for the troubles you have experienced with your EVGA graphics card. It is possible that if you are having similar issues with two different graphics cards, that it may be another component which is causing the problem. If you have not done so already, then I would encourage you to contact our 24 hour Technical Support team by phone 1.888.881.3842 and pressing option 1 or by email Newegg@EVGA.com, so that we can further assist you.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat, but...

Pros: This is an amazing card, its fast, never overheated, super quiet, and I love EVGA!

Cons: Despite all of the pros the con for me is a serious one. After a month of owning it I have been experiences really bad driver issues. Nearly every modern game to date the drivers will crash which will cause a random black screen and it would sometimes recover and resume the game. This however may not seem bad, but it is terrible when you are a competitive gamer. Some games will even crash after the screen blacks out. I have tried to many different methods to fix it, but nothing has worked and is very frustrating. I eventually come to realize to blame the card, for being faulty at its young age.

Other Thoughts: Great card, just some major driver issues

5 out of 5 eggsRock solid and fast

Pros: Good performing video card. My games run nice and smooth.

Cons: At 10.5" long, it's a beast. Much larger than the 460GTX I replaced. It barely fits in my case (an old Lian Li) -- almost right up against the lower drive cage. Beware if you have a "mid" size tower or smaller, make sure there's enough room for this card.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Fast.
Plays everything at high settings.

Cons: Noisy.
Big.
No longer a good value.

Other Thoughts: Got this to upgrade from a GTX460. While it was clearly a massive improvement over that card, I wish I had know about the pending release of the 970 series. They are much faster than this card and at nearly the same price. Sigh. But make no mistake, this card is good. As many have noted, it makes some noise, but it isn't as loud as my 460 was, so it's not a problem for me. This card is big, as in long. I had to move a drive to get it to fit. It was hitting the connectors and would not plug in. Luckily I had an empty bay just below, so the move was pretty easy. It would be a problem for someone that has all their drive bays full. (My case is a mid-sized tower.) All in all it's a good card, but I would take the 970 over it for the money.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat OC'er

Pros: Great overclocker and cooler. Was able to crank out 1350 mHz base clock and 8.4Ghz memory clock while maintaining a temperature under 80c. Not to mention this card looks great and noise can become an issue at times but not often.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggs2x Broken Units / Horrible customer service

Pros: If it works as it should, it is a very nice card, and powerful enough for gaming on a matched system.

Cons: -I receive the first video card, and it was an opened / returned / box and would not POST - Black Screen. = RMA'ed
-The next one has severe audio issues out of both HDMI ports. Horrid audio lag, *which turned into all around lag video and audio*, audio cracking / popping / and screeching. = Unable to RMA due to 30 days passed

Other Thoughts: I built an entirely new system, and this was the video card that I built my machine around. Long story short, I receive the first one, and it was an opened / returned / box and would not POST - Black Screen. I RMA'ed this one, The next one has severe audio issues out of both HDMI ports. Horrid audio lag, *which turned into all around lag video and audio*, audio cracking / popping / and screeching. I then try to RMA this one, because I still have not received a working video card, and get told by Newegg that "I am sorry you are past the 30 Day return policy" and that I have to contact EVGA and see if they will replace it through the End User warranty. I am really really disappointed with Newegg at not standing behind what they sold to me *twice, mind you*.
