Bring HD-quality gaming to the entry level.

The EVGA 01G-P4-2650-KR packs an affordable entry-level GPU – GeForce GTX 650. Based on the fast and efficient NVIDIA Kepler architecture, GeForce GTX 650 provides the perfect entry point to DirextX 11 and 1080p HD gaming in your favorite FPS and MMO games.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA Anti-aliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology enables a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Video Card

Pros: Works as expected! I've been using this brand for years because almost every game recognizes them & 1GB or more of RAM. A lot of PC users don't understand that system RAM isn't designed to process video very well. GDDR RAM on the video card is designed to process video & display it correctly. The idea is for the video card to process all of the video & the CPU process everything else.

Cons: None!

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 650

Pros: At the time i had gotten it on sale for 80.. iv been using it over a year.. i can pull over 50fps on highest setting on demanding games like dayz standalone or maybe borderlands 2 at 70fps on high. Good cheep card! Also small was able to fit it in my optiplex mini tower.

Cons: None that i can think of.

Other Thoughts: For the same price you can now buy a GTX 750 so if your looking into this card look at that one its way more powerful.

1 out of 5 eggsBroke after 6 months

Pros: None

Cons: Broke after 6 months. My Computer refuse to turn on once I plug this card in. I didn't think of warranty until almost 1 year later. I sent it to EVGA they said it will cost me $139 to repair. (price of a brand new one now is only 100). Not recommend it. .

Other Thoughts: My others low profit card cost me $20 and still work fine after 2 years. This one cost >100 and last for 6 months. Piece of junk.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Truong U,
I am very sorry for any confusion as I can confirm that your product was received with solder dripped onto the back of the PCB of the product which caused the failure with this product. I can also confirm that EVGA is here to help, but in this case the card was unfortunately beyond the available warranty terms and needed to be replaced. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you should have any additional questions by calling us at 1-888-881-3842 option 1 or by email at Newegg@evga.com.

Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support

1 out of 5 eggsGood entry level card if it worked

Pros: Great price

Cons: Did not work properly.

Other Thoughts: While building a new entry level gaming PC I picked up this card. During the build there were issues..as in, the PC would start up, but I was getting no video to the monitor. I checked, double checked, and triple checked and found no fault, so on a whim I replaced the card with an old nVidia 7900 I had lying around...as soon as I booted it up I got video and was able to run set up my system. Afterward I attempted to install the card again. Lo and behold it seemed to work...for a day or so...before it would stop sending signal to my monitor again. I tried the same route as before, got it working again, and attempted to roll back the drivers to see if that was the issue..at which point the card seemed to be done with me...RMA'd...waiting on the refund so I can buy a better card

Manufacturer Response:

"Hey there Glen S,
The issue you're having with your product is rather uncommon. Your GPU shouldn't cause a reset from another GPU being installed, but would actually reset the motherboard. Whether this is the issue you are experiencing or not, we would welcome you to call our 24 hour technical support team to help troubleshoot and resolve this issue. Additional things you can check in the mean time are if power is being supplied to the card, as well as any updates for your mobo or bios. When you have time, feel free to contact us anytime at 1-888-881-3842 option 1, or by email at newegg@evga.com.
Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support"

5 out of 5 eggsExceeded Expectations

Pros: I had absolutely no problem installing the card and after installing the driver that came on the included driver disk Windows Update immediately detected the newest driver that coincided with the same one offered on the EVGA site. This was a completely problem-free installation of both hardware and drivers. I do a lot of 3D design and scripting using Second Life and OpenSim and this card is exactly what I needed for a seamless and smooth virtual world experience.

Cons: The only issue I've encountered is that I must wait several seconds after turning the computer on before turning my 42" flat panel TV on (connected via DVI to HDMI). If I turn the TV on at the same time as the computer, the TV will say "no signal" until I turn the TV off and back on.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this primarily because the onboard video on my computer had some strange quirks in Second Life and OpenSim. Some of the 3D textures and objects would bounce around or stretch out of proportion randomly. This card completely eliminated the issues and is more than satisfactory for my needs. In fact, I'm seeing shadowing and other effects in the virtual worlds that I'd never seen before. I had no idea what I was actually missing until I installed this card.

3 out of 5 eggsLoud

Pros: This card replaced my passive Graphic Card (Radeon HD 6670). Right away I noticed that the software Nvidia uses is a lot smoother and more user friendly than the ATI Catalyst.

This card compared to the 6670, is obviously a little bit more powerful. So games ran smoother on higher settings.

Cons: The fan is loud. Annoyingly louder than any of the case fans. I might go back to my passive card because of the noise.

It requires an additional power supply. I didn't notice this when I bought it. Luckily, I PSU had a few extra cables. So I am able to use the card.

Other Thoughts: I might return it for a refund due to the fan noise. Purchased this at a different site due for tax evasion.
