Bring HD-quality gaming to the entry level.

The EVGA 01G-P4-2650-KR packs an affordable entry-level GPU – GeForce GTX 650. Based on the fast and efficient NVIDIA Kepler architecture, GeForce GTX 650 provides the perfect entry point to DirextX 11 and 1080p HD gaming in your favorite FPS and MMO games.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA Anti-aliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology enables a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

5 out of 5 eggsBest bang for the buck

Pros: This is a great performing video card for a variety of applications. It easily runs every game I play at home without issues (dayZ, arma 3, cs:go, crysis etc), and works smoothly with every operating system I have to deal with as an enterprise IT guy.

The 1gb ram is actually a pro if you're putting in an XP machine, and the overall size of the card means it will fit in almost every case you can imagine.

The price is very low for the performance and EVGA is my goto company for video cards due to responsive customer service and consistent quality products.

Cons: Not an SLI card. If it was, I'd have 2 of them in my tower at home and I'd be even happier.

Other Thoughts: Regardless of the application: workstation, school computer or gaming rig, this is a great choice for a single video card rig and a great choice of a company from which to buy your hardware.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Performance on a Budget

Pros: This one of the best cards available for roughly $100. I still am completely shocked at the bang for your buck.

-I like how its a dual slot card, so no worries with a single slot card actually using a slot and a half.
-It may only have 1GB of ram but that gig is 128-bit, GDDR5 at 5000MHz and it more than makes up for the 1gb of memory compared to cards with 2GB GDDR3 64bit memory.
-Good luck trying to find another card for around $100 with 384 cuda cores as well.
-This cards runs very quiet even after hundreds of hours of continuous gaming sessions.
-The highest temperature the card has reached in my machine was ~138F or ~59C. Happened on a hot, 94 degree Fahrenheit day (NO AC) after roughly 6 hours of continuous Dayz.
-To top it off, EVGA provides a 3 year manufacturer warranty. Ive dealt with EVGA in the past and they have excellent customer service.

Cons: None?
Not enough space to list all the Pros of this card as its a $100 card.

Other Thoughts: I have owned this card for a little over 3 months now. I have owned several Radeon + NVidia cards inducing two previous EVGA cards in the past. My two previous EVGA cards were OC by 15~35% and still lasted for 5+ years of regular gaming. I have a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology with dual specialization in Network Security and Network Administration. I game roughly 25-35 hours a week on PC, XBOX One, and XBOX 360. Here are my findings thus far for 3 months of regular to heavy use.

NOTE: These are my average results acquired from many multiple hour sessions of gaming for each game stated + many others titles not mentioned. All with varying play times ranging from 1 hour to 8 hours over hundreds of gaming sessions. Also, my HDD is slow/old as hell.

My Gaming/Multipurpose Desktop
-600w Power Suppy
-Gigabyte S-Series MA790GP-DS4H motherboard
-AMD Phenom II 940 x4 core Black Edition Processor (Overclocked from 3.0GHz to 3.4GHz)
-Tuniq Heat-sink with 120MM fan, Aluminum Fins, Copper tubing and base-plate
-Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
- 2GB x2 Sticks OCZ Gold Edition DDR2 1066MHz RAM
-EVGA Geforce GTX 650 (PCIe x16) (No Overclock)
-EDIMAX Dual Band Wireless N Network Adapter (PCIe x1)
-Sound Blaster Audigy 5.1 Channel Sound card (PCI)
-Secondhand WESTERN DIGITAL Caviar SE 160GB SATA 7200RPM HDD (Drive was made Jan of 2005) I suffered from HDD failure roughly 6 months ago and found this drive laying around. I keep all my data on a 2TB USB 3.0 Western Digital My Passport external HDD
-LG Burner (Burns all types of CD/DVD including Dual Layer, Lightscribe capable)
-All wrapped up in a 100% CLEAR Acrylic ATX Case
-Illuminated by one 12" Red Cold Cathode + one 12" Blue Cold Cathode
-OS: Windows 7 Enterprise Edition x64
-20" Widescreen Dell LCD monitor set to 1680x1050 resolution at 60HZ Refresh Rate

Average Gaming Results
-On my machine I can play DayZ with the graphics settings at 85~90% of maximum and at worst 25~30 FPS (very rarely) with an average of 50~60FPS.
-Skyrim with 90~95% Maximum graphic settings and average around 60FPS.
-Sins of a Solar Empire on maximum graphics settings with 45~60FPS. Occasionally drops to ~45 FPS when I play a GIANT map. Only during HUGE battles with hundreds of units.
-Minecraft has very rarely experienced any lag due to draw distance, size of map, ect.

5 out of 5 eggsSatisfied

Pros: Runs my 2 23" Samsung monitors w/o issue. I don't do gaming, so this card suits my needs well.
NVIDIA kept drivers up to date from Win 8 to Win 8.1 to Win 8.1 with Update 1.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: 8 months of use w/o issues.

1 out of 5 eggsBetter Value Cards Out there. Don't Buy it. EVGA Customer Support is Appalling.

Pros: It wasn't doa

Cons: Doesn't line up with Antec 600 rear slots

Is still weakest link in my 4 year old build

Support is awful

Other Thoughts: I got this card just more than a month ago and I have to say, I hate it. The mounting hole to stabilize the card in the slot is frustrating. I gave up as the hole is very slightly in the wrong spot and it seemed impossible after attempting for several minutes so I left it hanging, only supported by the PCI slot on the motherboard. It didn't even come with caps covering the connectors on the back. Its performance is meager to boot. Its Windows 7 Windows Experience Index WEI is a 7.3 Still the weakest link in my system, even though most of my components are 4 years old. Save yourself the unnerving experience with their lame tech support. Told them to take a long walk on a short stick.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Paul T,

I am very sorry to hear of any frustration as I can confirm that the bracket is designed in such a way that it can fit into any ATX case that has room for the card, but that you do have to line up the bracket before it will slide in to the case. Can you please also confirm that you did load the latest drivers from our website as the built in Windows drivers can show a lower score on this performance index tool? Please call our 24 hour support at 1-888-881-3842 option 1 or by email at Newegg@evga.com as we are here to help with any questions or concerns that you may have on the product to try and support you.

Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Video Card

Pros: Works as expected! I've been using this brand for years because almost every game recognizes them & 1GB or more of RAM. A lot of PC users don't understand that system RAM isn't designed to process video very well. GDDR RAM on the video card is designed to process video & display it correctly. The idea is for the video card to process all of the video & the CPU process everything else.

Cons: None!

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 650

Pros: At the time i had gotten it on sale for 80.. iv been using it over a year.. i can pull over 50fps on highest setting on demanding games like dayz standalone or maybe borderlands 2 at 70fps on high. Good cheep card! Also small was able to fit it in my optiplex mini tower.

Cons: None that i can think of.

Other Thoughts: For the same price you can now buy a GTX 750 so if your looking into this card look at that one its way more powerful.

1 out of 5 eggsBroke after 6 months

Pros: None

Cons: Broke after 6 months. My Computer refuse to turn on once I plug this card in. I didn't think of warranty until almost 1 year later. I sent it to EVGA they said it will cost me $139 to repair. (price of a brand new one now is only 100). Not recommend it. .

Other Thoughts: My others low profit card cost me $20 and still work fine after 2 years. This one cost >100 and last for 6 months. Piece of junk.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Truong U,
I am very sorry for any confusion as I can confirm that your product was received with solder dripped onto the back of the PCB of the product which caused the failure with this product. I can also confirm that EVGA is here to help, but in this case the card was unfortunately beyond the available warranty terms and needed to be replaced. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you should have any additional questions by calling us at 1-888-881-3842 option 1 or by email at Newegg@evga.com.

Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support
