The wait is over. EVGA presents us a powerful yet highly affordable graphics card - 02G-P4-2662-KR with the new mid-range GTX 660 GPU. GeForce GTX 660 GPU inherits the class-leading performance and power efficiency of Kepler GPU architecture without breaking your bank. Factory overclocked at 1046MHz which is 66 MHz more than the reference card, the EVGA 02G-P4-2662-KR offers more astonishing graphics performance. To make the big bigger, GPU boost offers a higher GPU clock whenever it is possible.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: This card has some excellent value. It's not the most powerful card out there, but it also isn't the most expensive.
I don't think I have ever bought an Nvidia graphics card that delivers this much power for the price before, great investment. It takes whatever I throw at it and says "no prob dude, gimme more"

Cons: Slows down a bit when you crank up the anti-aliasing, but that's usually the setting you lose when you buy the less expensive models. Worked fine for 2 months and then I had to do an RMA as it was giving me driver errors, otherwise it would have been 5 eggs.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far no issues

Pros: Card seems to run well, most games at max setting. Volume is decent and tolerable, exhaust faces out to back of case, so far no issues I've encountered though I think sometimes runs too hot. nVidia software is nice to work with, Geforce experience auto tuning graphics settings works pretty well. More for the explanations of what each setting does.

Cons: My friends girlfriend is not very attractive and walks around with too little clothing.

Other Thoughts: Card can read up to 80c, 33-35c idle. Not sure if normal since I am used to old GPU running cooler. Wasn't as big of an upgrade as I expected from a 6850 but I'm pleased.

5 out of 5 eggsGIGGITY

Pros: It's EVGA, runs quiet, stays cool! If it did generate heat it really wouldn't effect the pc inclosure as the heat is discharged out thru the rear vents ... i connected this to a 2.0x16 slot. Even with the lower bandwidth VERY IMPRESSED!!!

Games : Skyrim, C&C Generals Zero Hour, Total War : shogun, All played with high settings and the card just belched and asked for more

Cons: none thus far, being EVGA i don't expect any :)

Other Thoughts: This will work for 2.0x16 slots on the older mobo's and AMD newer mobo's, wonder why AMD hasn't stepped up to the 3.0x16 yet. i mean they have but it is time consuming to find a board that supports it. Anyway this card is gooOOOood, you'll like it more then your money :-) < (Old auctioneer saying)

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 660 Performance

Pros: Excellent buy, I am very glad I got this over the 7850. Runs all of my games maxed out at 60FPS+ except for planetside 2 where I get 30-40 FPS on Ultra with the .ini thing in huge fights. Still is very good considering Planetside 2 is not really optimized to run good on AMD Processors. Running an FX 6300 at 4.3 Ghz on stock cooler, 8 GB Ram, and a GTX 660 2GB Superclocked. Excellent budget build.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsPrice is right

Pros: Beast for the price! Some people, (the real, ridiculous, wiring perfectionists) complaining about the side socket I found those "cons" to be way too unnecessary. Software very easy to navigate. Will buy a 2nd for SLI. These days I have been going through some hard times but desperately needed an upgrade, and for the price, you can't go wrong.

Free copy of the new Metro

And of course...NE ships mainly from Edison, NJ, which is about 30 minutes from my house. So I get next day delivery for the cheapest shipping rate available. Def can't beat that!!

Cons: Nothing yet

5 out of 5 eggsBEAUTIFUL!

Pros: it looks sick! the side has a carbon fiber plating which goes great with my black and blue themed build. i also like the funky fan put on most of evga's products. quiet.

Cons: takes up two slots, which in this case, covered my pci-e slot for my wireless card. luckily, my motherboard had another slot that runs at x16 speed

Other Thoughts: comes with a sweet looking sticker to continue the chrome and carbon fiber theme.

5 out of 5 eggs5 weeks, 16 hours/day

Pros: I've been running my system with this card for over a month and all is good. My system stays on at least 16 hours/day... 10hrs for work and 4-8 hrs for play. It's the gaming that's awesome, I'm able to run two instances of a game (sandboxie) with only a 30% drop in frame rate (70 -> 50 fps) in each instance.
Heat is still very low, around 54'C under load, and I'm happy to say, any funky fan or coil noises are pretty much gone (or I'm so engrossed I don't notice it anymore)

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: I'll keep you posted :)
