The wait is over. EVGA presents us a powerful yet highly affordable graphics card - 02G-P4-2662-KR with the new mid-range GTX 660 GPU. GeForce GTX 660 GPU inherits the class-leading performance and power efficiency of Kepler GPU architecture without breaking your bank. Factory overclocked at 1046MHz which is 66 MHz more than the reference card, the EVGA 02G-P4-2662-KR offers more astonishing graphics performance. To make the big bigger, GPU boost offers a higher GPU clock whenever it is possible.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

A new hit of the "sweet spot" for gamers, the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 delivers the ultimate combination of performance, power efficiency, and affordability. This card is built around 960 CUDA Cores with 3072 MB / 192 bit GDDR5 memory to render your blockbuster games with vivid details and skip-free pictures. This SuperClocked model is factory overclocked to 1046MHz Base Clock/1111MHz Boost Clock - a level higher than the 980MHz Base Clock/1033MHz Boost Clock than reference specification for delightful performance boost and higher framerate in actual gaming. GeForce GTX 660 also packs support for all the premium GTX gaming technologies such as NVIDIA Surround, 3D Vision, PhysX and SLI. With these features and more, the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 gives you more than one way to elevate your experience.

Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. 5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

This review is from: EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: I was debating between this and the R9 270x. I don't know what I'm missing and nor do I care.

This card runs everything I throw at it maxed settings. I have it in a Thermaltake Chasar A71. I have pretty good airflow and the card idles at around 30c and never goes any higher than 60c when gaming.

Cons: Not much to say. Its big, but it fits.

Other Thoughts: I could definitely recommend this.

-NVIDIA drivers are really good
-doesn't make a lot of noise
-works perfectly with multiple monitors

Cons: I can't think of any.

Other Thoughts: This card is a great value. I run Crysis 3, BF4, Skyrim, and every other game I own on the highest settings without a problem. I haven't had any problems at all with this card, and I'm very happy I bought it.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Card - Better With two

This review is from: EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: I have had one of these for about a year now and have loved it. I have always been an Nvidia guy, I had a 7770GHZ Edition and it straight up died on me and had some issues with non ATi/AMD games.

This card really knocked it out of the park for me as ive always had EVGA. their 9800GTX which i had for prolly 4 years before having to upgrade was by far the best card i have ever had.

Just bought another one and configured SLI and man is it a beast. Its running around GTX 760 speeds.

Cons: Max Load they are a bit noisy, then again I have 2 of them and i usually have the side panel off my case.

Other Thoughts: I love the closed design. Less exposed and flimsy materials with a nice fan. Gotta love EVGA and their style.

Also works great with AMD Processors. People think because AMD bought ATi you have to have both but I say NAY!

5 out of 5 eggsBeastly Card

This review is from: EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: This card rocks! I have it set in to an older computer (see below for specs), and while running in a pci-express 2.0 slot it can easily drive multiple 1080p monitors. It is also able to completely max out many of the games I throw at it, such as Skyrim, Far Cry 3, Aliens: Colonial Marines, and many others, all at 1080p.

Cons: They aren't running the $180 sale right now (which is when I bought my card).

Other Thoughts: On a system running:

12gb of corsair ram (1600)
i5-3470
gtx 660 SC 2gb
128gb Samsung 830 SSD (OS)
750gb raided hdd (storage)

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a Beast

This review is from: EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: Runs Skyrim ultra over 69fps at full 1080p.
Slimm casing, smaller than MSI and other dual fan systems
Pretty quiet.
Vents to outside the case (pretty huge pro)
felt sturdy in construction

Cons: Has issues with a riser on a Pci x8 slot. (doubt many will use this)

Other Thoughts: Building a briefcase build, and fit in difficulty, but worked pretty well.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Starting Graphics Card

This review is from: EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: -Good Graphics card for first build (don't need an upgrade for a year or two)

Cons: -Cooling issues
-Not sure if this is true for everyone, but I am getting a terrible screeching noise when I am playing a game.

Other Thoughts: Other than the cooling and screeching noise, I definitely recommend this card. However, I am not fully sure whether the noise means that it is degrading.
