The EVGA SuperClocked+ GTX 660 Ti with 980MHz Core Clock and 1059MHz Boost Clock - a level higher than reference specifications of 915MHz Base Clock and 980MHz Boost Clock, delivers a decent performance boost without costing too much. Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.

TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.

Easy overclocking and tuning Cons: This card is massive and I had to reroute several power rails inorder to not have them touching or laying against the card. I talked to EVGA's tech before upgrading and he was very honest and helpful about which card was right for me. This card is in every way an amazing upgrade from my old video cards (which were also excellent). The power consumption is less than half the other 2 cards combined, the card runs 10-20 degrees Celsius cooler, and the true DX11 and PHYSX is very impressive as well as the rendering speed and improved VSYNC. I am able to run maximum settings with steady 60-90fps @1920x1080 on everything I own including Diablo 3, Far Cry 3, Crysis 3, Battlefield 3, Witcher 2, Elder Scrolls V, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, Tera, and Metro 2033. The card has not exceeded 60 degrees celsius even under high load. It's an amazing card for a very affordable price. If you are running multi monitor, the 680/690 series is the better choice. EVGA's customer service was excellent for me so far, just waiting for a new unit. Other Thoughts: When this card works at it's best I think it will really be worth the hassle in the end. Cons: Doesn't like to ofc past 1250 or so. so if you want more power you might have some trouble getting it up there. The fan is also unbearably loud at higher speeds. Although ill take the loud fan because it keeps the temps very low at all times. I bought this card at a Best Buy and had them price match newegg. The guy at the counter price matched with a 550 so I got this for way cheaper than retail price. $169.00 plus tax so I got this at a killer price.
