Powered by the fastest and most power efficient GPU ever built by NVIDIA, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 graphics card changes your game with unprecedented performance and features. This card is based on 28nm Kepler architecture and built around 1536 CUDA Cores with 4GB/256-bit GDDR5 memory, producing reality-redefining power and bringing smooth, seamless, true-to-life gaming like you have never experienced before. It’s also factory overclocked to 1111 MHz Base Clock/1176 MHz Boost Clock, a level higher than the 1006MHz/1058MHz than reference design, to pump out higher framerates in the hottest titles. More than speed, this card packs support for all the premium GTX gaming technologies such as NVIDIA Surround, 3D Vision, PhysX and SLI. With these features and more, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 gives you more than one way to elevate your experience.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: I really like this card. It performs great and in comparison to the GTX 780ti, I hear that there is not much improvement in performance and the 680 have more VRAM which is most important in gaming with maxed out settings. So I added another and now am running these babies in SLI. Crysis 3 (maxed out in 3D) 60fps. I was hoping for a bit more but it will do. Bioshock infinite(maxed out in 3D) 100+ fps. Yeah baby

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: These cards will running most of all games out there with max settings at peak performance. Well at these until Crysis 4. hoping the DirectX12 will utilize more CPU power.

5 out of 5 eggsCards that run anything.

Pros: I have had 2 of these cards running in one of my gaming systems for well over a year now without one issue.
The cards run cool and really don't need to be overclocked to run anything I have played at max video settings. I have run EVGA card s from when the gt220 cards came out and out of all of those cards I had an issue with one of my gts450's but it was after running 2 years while overclocked above factory settings.
If you want to run the 580's still this is the card to get if you can't find a 590 anywhere. I still run my 590 and it still runs anything at max and with super FPS just like 2 of these cards do.
I love these cards and don't plan to ever sell mine they still give solid performance and run 60fps or better in anything I have played at max video settings.

Cons: There are no cons with this card but the price.

Other Thoughts: I have 2 of the GTX680 classified cards as well and they do have better performance but I paid more for the cards as well.
I would go with the EVGA GTX 680 classified card over the 580's but what ever you want to order it's your money and this is one solid card that dose last well.
As for me I will be going with EVGA GTX780ti in SLI for my new system this year. I have looked at other cards running in friends and family members pc's but the performance from the 780ti's looks the best from what I have seen.
Good luck with what ever you order.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth every dollar

Pros: At 1920x1080 resolution, this card easily chews up any game I run through it. High VRAM allows for extensive and excessive game modding with no worry of overwhelming the card. Skyrim will collapse under it's own programming limitations when HD modded long before this card will max out. Cooling system is very effective with the card never exceeding 65c when fans are set to auto and it quickly returns to about 34c when not in use.

Cons: The fans can get pretty loud during heavy use, but not enough to disrupt gaming. This card is also very large, and may not fit in small cases, or even mid size ones depending on their layout.

Other Thoughts: This card works wonders for online games. Populated areas with dozens of character models on screen are easily displayed on max settings with shadows until player count gets into the hundreds. The price tag can be a huge turnoff, but I can't stress enough that this card will prove its worth.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Great card

Pros: Crysis 3: All settings very high TXAA; fps 75-85. on a Asus 27" 1920x1080 monitor. need I say more. This rocks. never goes above 62C with fan on auto speed 29 at room temp 68 degrees and quiet as a cat.

Cons: What !! NONE

Other Thoughts: Soon to go 3D. AMD can never make a card this efficient in all areas. Nvidia 4life never looking back

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 680 classified Crysis 3

Pros: I am very pleased with my graphic's card, the Nvidia Geforce GTX 680 Classified. It has been handling Crisis 3 with three screens at resolution 6057 by 1080, that's three 1080 screens working as one, at the highest possible settings without any hiccups. Highly recommended card.

P.S. I think the 680 4gb classified is better than the 780.

Cons: non

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card that beats the Radeon HD 7970. Has a lot of vram so it can handle any gaming related special use cases that eat up more than the usual vram.

Pretty quiet and has a good array of outputs.
New enough to support nvidia's new stuff like Shadowplay and G-Sync

Cons: It's huge! Much larger than its replacement (the 780Ti) and its competitor (the 7970). I had to remove the quick latch module that my case provided for the expansion slots, and use regular screws instead. It is bigger in all 3 dimensions and if you're doing SLI you will want a mobo that provides a slot of empty space between the cards so they don't get choked out.

5 out of 5 eggsLove It

Pros: Very powerful card. Chews through a ridiculously modded Skyrim on a 30" monitor without a hiccup. BF3 at full tilt. It does it all while being nearly silent. This card is quiet and runs cool.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: No regrets here.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: -Runs very quiet when idling
-Fantastic frame rates on max settings in Tomb Raider, BF3, Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite, Dirt 3 and more on MAX settings
-Renders video like a BEAST. Seriously.

Cons: The card almost seemed like it was a refurbished item when I pulled it out of the box. There are two plastic pieces on the side of the card that look like they should fit flsuh together, but they don't. There were also smudges on the card itself. Not sure if something happened during shipping, but this card should look brand-spanking at this price point.

Also it is not quiet under load. When the fans are at 55% (maximum speed) my PC turns into a wind tunnel, but that's expected.

Other Thoughts: I am so in love with this card I might just get a second one somewhere down the line. It is certainly on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. It's unfortunate that I had to dock and egg due to the card not being pristine out of the box.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns any game at 1920x1080

Pros: This card can handle any game thrown at it at 1920x1080. Have played Crysis 1 2 & 3, Fallout 3 & New Vegas, Battlefield 3, Defiance, Deadspace 1 2 & 3, Skyrim heavily modded, Metro 2033 & Last light, Dragonage 1 & 2, Guildwars 2, Aliens vs Predator, the Old Republic Online, Resident evil 5 6 & revelations, dishonored, Bioshock all of them, Boarderlands 1 & 2 and Shadow Runner Returns. All with vsync on to prevent screen tearing.

As for temps first card in a long time I can leave auto fan on and not go over 60c not to mention the card runs almost silent.

Cons: I didn't get from newegg but cannot beat the deal I got on amz for $350

Other Thoughts: Running this PC with
Core I7 970
Intel DX58OG
Ripjaws X Series 48GB DDR3 1333
Vengeance Series C70 Military Green case
2x WD6000HLHX 600GB

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Very smooth installation and loving it. Great power and fast operations.

Cons: Can't think of one. Maybe the size but it doesn't really bother me at all.

Other Thoughts: First time builder and it all went smoothly. Card is very user friendly.
