5 out of 5 eggsAfter all this time

Pros: Kicked royal blank for its day. I really can't complain about a single thing. If there is one thing I'd have them do different, it would be that they should have put 2Gb of vram on this monster. The games these days are requiring 4gb, in the day of the GTX 970. So putting 2 or 3Gb on this card would have aided in its longevity.

Cons: Only the 1.25Gb of vram. Other than that, there are only pros. Seriously, there are only pros. I guess it drinks a lot of power, but who cares.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cards in SLI

Pros: *AMAZING cards, ran everything on high to ultra setting with more than 120 fps with a constant vsync/tripple buffer applied. These 2 cards made everything so enjoyable and smooth as ice on my 120hz Samsung monitor.
*No whine or super loud blowers, very manageable. And keeps my system cool.
*Temp for these cards were around 75-80 C* at load on my top card & 60-70 C* on my bottom, which i rotated every 3-6 months!!
*No problems in the over 4 years i had these puppies. I loved them and they loved me back.

Cons: *Does not make me eggs in the morning or polish my morning wood!
*NONE...EVGA and Nvidia rock as hard as NewEGG!!

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for an upgrade and it has been over 4 years since, get these cards really cheap. You will not regret it!!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: After almost 4 years I have decided to upgrade to a gtx970, but this was such a great graphics card. It really lived up to what Nvidia was saying at the time. I'd suggest this for anyone who can get it for cheap and doesn't need to run modern titles on high.

Cons: It seems to have started showing artifacts after almost 4 years. Inherently, I had no qualms with this and I can't complain about anything for the past 4 years.

Nvidia's drivers are a pain sometimes, but I just waited a few weeks before updating and I only have a few issues.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst Highend GPU

Pros: This card was now running for 3,5 years in my RIG, last week it just put a blackscreen for me. Had the luck to get a 10 years warranty serial ID, so i contacted the EVGA support. Excellent support from EVGA, which will send me a new card in 1-3 days. What i want to show is, i dont need to buy a new card yet, because the GPU still deliveres awesome power for every game. Yea, the ventilation system is pretty loud, but i dont care, because i use a headset or usually have the sound at least on a volume that you dont hear the card at all. The card runs nearly all games on maxxed out setting. Its clear that you cant run EVERYTHING on maxxed, but this is 3,5 year old card and u am impressed with the power it still deliveres.

Cons: The card broke after 3,5 years. Now i have to say i definitly not have the best air ventilation system, which made the card fighting with good heats over the years.

Other Thoughts: Gettin a high end card is definitly worth it in my opinion. Usually i spend money for mid-range cards, but they lost performance to early. I would buy from EVGA any time again, because they offer great service and quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Video Card

Pros: Installed this card in my new build over 3 years ago and it runs great. I love that it runs cool without any help as the box it sits in is upstairs where it is warmer. It still rates pretty high in performance despite its age. I am glad I spent the extra for the card when I did this build.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsLittle Complaints

Pros: -Performance-
-Reliability-
-EVGA's Lifetime Limited Warranty-

Cons: -Price-
-Massive Size-

*My first card operated flawlessly for about three months before I started getting BSODs and bleeding pixels and other various hang-ups.

After pinpointing my card as the issue, I contacted EVGA and they sent me a new card out relatively quickly free of charge. Almost two years after having the new card, it's still running great and hasn't given me any issues.

Other Thoughts: This is a great videocard. I'm glad I opted to shell out a little extra cash at the time for one of the better cards on the market when I was building my rig. The card delivers unparalleled performance and really brings games to life. With EVGA's Lifetime Limited Warranty, you essentially have a high performance, highly reliable card that will last you years.

Even if it falters or breaks down, all you need to have done is register it through EVGA when you first purchased it and contact them for a replacement. It really is that simple. Kudos to EVGA for outstanding customer service and building a quality product in this one.
