5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Good card performed well in the 3 years I have owned it and no real problems with it ever.

Cons: None that I can think of

Other Thoughts: Good card for the money

3 out of 5 eggsDecent Card, Mail-in-Rebate fails

Pros: Runs most games pretty well.

Cons: Running completely stock with no over-clocking but the fan doesn't seem to auto-spin up very well so I use EVGA precision to set the fan speed to 69% before I game. This keeps the temp nice and cool.
Don't count on the Mail-in-Rebate ever showing up as I sent it in about May 20th and it hasn't shown up yet.(Aug 27 atm)

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

It takes 6-8 weeks from the time your rebate documents are received by the rebate company to ship the payment. You can track your rebate at evga.4myrebate.com or e-mail rebates@evga.com for a status update.

1 out of 5 eggsDissapointed

Pros: Do okay for me if not it does not give me bluescreen when playing Starcraft 2

Cons: After I had one crash in Starcraft 2, my computer continue to get bluescreen telling the Nvidia driver problem. I try all sort suggestion like raising power voltage, RAM in BIOS, reinstall the driver, etc. It still will not work. My screen just freeze, and restart my window even I am on desktop and not doing anything. EVGA always come with good video card but this video card is extremely disappointing.

I read the review, other users had the same problem when they played Starcraft 2.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

I do apologize if you experienced problems with the card. I know SC2 had an issue where the FPS was not capped, and therefore was overheating graphics cards. I would suggest enabling V-sync and if the problem persists contacting our 24/7 technical support 888-881-3842

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome improvement

Pros: I went from 2 fps on low graphics to 48 fps on ultra high graphics in Rift. I am very happy with the card thus far. CIV5 looks great as well.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Its a big card and needs two 6 pin power connectors.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: It has done most things I have asked of it. Every game I have tried with it I have maxed the settings on and it didnt seem to slow down at all.

Cons: It does get a bit hot while playing any graphics intense game but the fan seems to keep up with it. The fan can get quite loud but I just crank up the volume and it fades to the background.

The drivers seem to disappear sometimes, though I cant tell if thats a hardware problem of a software one.

Other Thoughts: A fine card for the price. I will recommend it.

4 out of 5 eggsRMAed first one on second card now

Pros: Nicest/fastest video card I have owned.

Cons: First card worked fine for four weeks then BSODed system repeatedly. Crash dump pointed to nvlddmkm.sys BTW. Went through EVGA RMA process, got re-certified card after two weeks of emails/shipping bad card back. Have this card in system for a week now seems to work fine.

Other Thoughts: EVGA RMA process worked fine. Hated downtime went back to old video card but overall problem solved, cost me shipping back the EVGA. Stuff happens I guess.

5 out of 5 eggsI am pleased.

Pros: -Well packaged!
-Easily installed.
-I gamed for three long sessions (long for me at least...) after first installing (8 hours, 9 hours and 10hours) ran cool during all three.
-Graphics look great in recents games.
-Drivers easily found.

Cons: N/A.

Other Thoughts: Replaced a 9800 gtx+, performance improved greatly. Verify what kind of space you have to place this in, it is somewhat large.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Graphics Card

Pros: Easy Install cool adapters supplied with the unit...loved the mini hdmi port to hdmi out for tv's/monitors and glad that it supplied the cable as well...drivers updated ok...not as huge as other graphics cards I've seen but it did take up two sections like allot do...it was very well packaged...impressed to say the least!!!

Cons: None to soon to tell!!!

4 out of 5 eggsNot quite satisfied but still a good card!

Pros: Had this card for half a year and its doing its job. Runs all the games I can throw at it on high. Great overclocker

Cons: There are so many compared to the GTX 460. Larger power commutation, greater heat output, really really high temperatures when overclocked. The GTX 460 actually performs better than the GTX 465. In terms of 3 way SLI who would 3 way SLI with 1 GB memory. Also sudden computer freeze with "GREEN" screens while playing SC2.

Other Thoughts: I got the GTX 465 when it was offering 2 free games with an reasonable price that the time, but I should of gotten the GTX 460 or the GTX 470 instead.
I am still thinking weather I should buy another GTX 465 for SLI or just upgrade to a new card.
